Hi, I'm student learning English. Do you have a script of this clip? I just wonder how I get the script of it. This episode of Maintaining mental heath was very impressive for me. Thank you!
Hi Paul - for $5 a month you can get the script and other material for this, and all our other episodes at Patreon.com/easyenglishvideos Thanks for your support and I hope that helps
Thanks for your comment Jenny, everyone I interviewed had such great answers and were so open about their own experiences, hopefully this video helps in some way 🙌🏻
Wow, what a great video! There is some wisdom in every answer! By the way, there are two important aspects on men’s psychology which are mentioned in the video: 1. Men often don’t need to talk about something specific to feel better, “just talk” already works. 2. Men prefer to talk while having some side by side activity. On the surface you’re doing something, but actually the main point is that you’re connecting with someone.
Wonderful comments, observations and advices from all the people in the video. I'll add that in my case, it's important to enjoy your activity, whatever it may be, without worrying too much about progress, achievements, or comparisons, you do what you do because you like it and therefore it's good for you, but not everything you do should be accountable and profitable.
Thanks for the nice video👍 My way of maintaining my mental health is spending time learning and reading about things that interest me, going for a walk every once in a while, and NOT following the news.
I maintain my mental health through stoic philosophy, meditation and yoga. Meditation especially helped me a lot about actually our thoughts are not what we are. Realising that I'm not my thoughts was a great improvement in my life. Stoic philosophy also helped me out of being anxious.
😆 I could’ve made a separate video just with your answers Suzi, maybe we could do that in the future? Thanks for watching and taking part, you were a fantastic addition to the episode 👏🏻👏🏻
@@EasyEnglishVideos Suzi is one of my favourite UA-camrs, such an inspiration! And as a bit of a polyglot I've been brushing up various languages via the brilliant Easy Languages channels. This format, authentic conversations with real people, is just perfect for me. I came here because of Suzi, and she and your other interviewees all spoke so well. Keep up the good work!
I thought this video was sponsored by Jack and Potato tea ??? Funny name for a tea if I got it right, which is questionable! Can you have a whole episode interviewing the fashionable nutritionist lady? How fascinating was she? To your question how I maintain my mental health! Have no clue! Don’t know if I do really other than escaping to films! I do that a lot! It is a bad vice though! Although I could have worse ones!
I would love to make an interview with her, we actually almost did make a 15 minute one anyway with this subject… I am also someone who loves a bit of escapism through movies, a perfectly reasonable bit of meditation in my opinion 🍿
Imo, Easy English should provide subtitles in a different language, just like all the other "Easy Languages" provide subtitles in English. Maybe a different language each time? Or maybe Esperanto? No subtitles in another language kind of gives the impression that English is the be-all, end-all language...

Have a brilliant day ☺️
Thanks for your support Natalia! I hope you enjoyed and also have a great day 😁 greetings from Brighton
Such an important topic that we must talk about, especially in current times, so thanks for making a video about it. 😍

Thanks! And well noted, reading that and hearing the answers about men’s mental health made me suddenly realise why men probably like fishing 🎣
@@EasyEnglishVideos 😂 Yes, fishing is maybe the smartest way to pretend that you’re doing something.
Watching this video has been useful for my mental health!👍
Thanks Tanita! Glad it helped 😁

Very good advice, I’m sure you’re not alone with this one 🙌🏻
Yes....agree ..the news..is disturbing..sometimes ..too much negative...information...that does not help your ...well being..

Socializing at this hard time is highly crucial to maintain the mental health and prevents one from the depression.
Thanks for the episode.
Thanks Dani and well said!
Lovely video and great meeting you. I talk for Britain don't I?! Suzi

Good topic for discuss, no doubt this moment comes to everyone when you start think about mental health, its very important.
The most beautiful language & accent in the world 💙
Walk...walk...keep walking...fresh air...UK..people try so hard to have intelligent answers...and being honest..
Walking.....get out of the house....doing walking...best health...mentally....having people to talk to...
Just keep...positive and hopeful...yes..get plenty of sleep..that keep your brain healthy...
can you take all the IELTS questions speaking section to ask people in UK, it would've been brilliant.
This is a fantastic idea Tony… I’ll get on this soon - I failed to pass a test version of this a few years back 😬
@@EasyEnglishVideos thanks a tons man, I’ll be your massive fan.

Thanks! Very important! Exactly for me😂
i totally relate to that woman who can solve all of life's problems with a nice bath and a jacket potato... i feel exactly the same :)
😆😆 I’m totally with her… small victories 💪
lol when she was talking about her favorite tea, I was thinking what kind of tea is that, as in drink but than I realized she was talking about food 🤣

They all are speaking very slowly. I wonder if it's the real music of the English language or if they were selected in order to be easy to understand.

Jack, i have actually got the subtitles uploaded onto UA-cam… if you just click the CC button you can choose your preferred language 👍👍
