my life advice would be 'don't feel bad for underachieving - it happens to the best of them, just keep on going in whatever direction sparks joy, and doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about your life decisions'

I really liked this episode, and I agree with all of them, specially the guy with the dog and the guy with yellowish hair.
If you are under intense stress and feel that you have too many obligations, maybe you're in the wrong place... stop and listen to yourself, what you really need and what you really want.

In 6:31 his advice reminds me of “Man's maturity: to have regained the seriousness that he had as a child at play.” (Nietzsche). We were all very happy when we were a child because we were living at the moment.
From now on my motto is "Just chase bubbles" 6:50 😇

Great video. Just one thing. The subtitles at 4:37 are not correct. The lady is saying "you're there" NOT "your there". The contraction of you and are should be used. The second person possessive adjective "your" is not correct. Right?
By the way, the little boy had some great advice for his age. Always chase bubbles. I like that.

There is no research to substantiate your claim. Montaigne - a 16th century French philosopher who was brought up speaking Latin - actively refuted it. Research carried out in Mexico by linguists at the Instito Anglo Mexicano de Cultura also refuted this. They concluded that it was best for a child to learn their first language well and then to learn a second language between 11 and 13 years of age. Children with poor first language skills will not learn a second language adequately but good first language skills plus literacy greatly help with the acquisition of a second language. Children between 11 and 13 are able to acquire a second language well before 'fossilisation' has set in. This advice applies to children learning a second language and not to children brought up bilingually. Their development is very different even down to the way the two languages are stored in the brain.

6:30😅 "Out of the mouth of children and infants, you have brought forth praise". even though he said so innocently, I think there is a deeper meaning behind.

I think we should know when to give advice and who to give advice to, although in reality people only learn from their own experiences.

Most of the advices are about the regrets they have for not doing something or have done wrong in their past.

Well, all pieces of advice were light-hearted and suitable for Europeans. None of them would work for us the Middle-Eastern. So, as one who was born and brought up in the mentioned region, I advise you should take as much responsibility as you can and exert yourself fulfilling your commitments.
