Well, Daniel didn't need to hire expensive marketers, his ad of him just explaining the razor convinced me. I have been searching for a beginner-friendly DE razor for quite some time. Then I saw his ad and I was still hesitant. However, I started to search for reviews from other beginners. They match exactly what he said in the ad. So, that made me take that leap of faith. I will be getting mine soon in the mail. Goodbye to cartridge razors, and hello, Henson.
I'm three shaves into my Mild Henson and can't wait to order a Medium. As a bald man shaving is a life style. I've never had a closer shave and frankly I'm thrilled with this razor. Great job with the interview.
Great interview, I love what you guys do on this channel. Keep up the good work ! The new version of the Henson is now one of my favorite razors, it is spectacular. I have all levels of aggressions and they are all amazing. This is by far the best razor for transitioning from carts. If they ever decide to make a stainless steel version I will be purchasing that as well. I don't think he realizes how many razors he would sell in stainless steel.
Glad you enjoyed the interview Brian and that you're enjoying your Henson razors! I'd have to agree with you on the stainless steel offering, I just find aluminum razors too light.
Great episode! I really enjoyed the info behind Henson shaving. I wasn't planning on trying a Henson razor because of how mild it looks but I do want to try it now, knowing how precise it's made.
About putting it together correctly maybe go ahead and print “this side up” in small font or on a small sticker and add a short sheet of instructions they can read while sitting on the toilet. Also maybe color code the sides that go together or add indents that fit the two parts together. People like to read easy instructions. Also add a short instructional vid on UA-cam channel and in website. Besides from actually holding their hand some people are just so inexperienced you wonder how they’ve survived this long but obviously they exist. They know enough to know how to do a return right?
Some people do prefer more weight so maybe adding the ability to fill a hollow handle with some kind of weight material while still maintaining balance. Not sure how that’s best done but I have heard of tillable handles or somehow add weight to the razor. Allowing for adjustable angles isn’t in this business model obviously. Converting newbies is great but they all gain experience and everybody is talking about this is for newbies so experienced shavers might shy away. The market is good for all the experienced wet shavers.
I have tough facial hair and neither the mild nor the medium AL13 can give me anything like a close shave. And many other people likewise have tough facial hair. And it must surely be more than 10% of safety razor shavers.
Awesome interview. Sounds like they really know who they are at Henson. I’ve got to stop watching these interviews. Now I’m curious how the Henson shaves.
I have very tough facial hair and the medium just can’t give me anything like a smooth shave. And there must be many other people with tough facial hair. It’s surely not as low as 10%.
I bought the al13 it is terrible and gives me razorburn which I didn't get with my cartridge razor A lot of the comments here are bots who even post on the henson UA-cam channel check them they're the same accounts Don't get lied to
I have the medium Henson, and just purchased the aggressive titanium version. It's the best razor I've used, especially for head shaving. There are a few variables that could cause razor burn, shaving over the same spot numerous times without soap or cream, pressing too hard when shaving, or shaving against the grain on the first pass. There is a bit of a learning curve when switching from cartridge to any safety razor. If you still have the razor I'd recommend trying to give it more practice, also grab some decent blades, pretty well any blade from Gillette. Gillette Nacet, Gillette 7 O'clock (green pack) Gillette 7 O'clock (yellow pack) Gillette platinum.

Superb - winkles right into my mental connective tissue!
Looking forward to receiving AL13 + 100 blades from Ward Carroll's offer.

Thanks for watching Tim!
I have 3 months on my Hensen AL13 and it is unbelievable just how nice it shaves.
Great show!
I'm in!
Great show!! I really enjoyed the interview. Would love to purchase an aggressive Henson.
Thanks James, please be sure to use the link in the video description to be notified when a purchase link is ready for the aggressive AL13!

ive got soft skin should i get the mild or the medium hanson razor ?
Mild
Some people do prefer more weight so maybe adding the ability to fill a hollow handle with some kind of weight material while still maintaining balance. I found the mild and medium baseplates to be extremely mild as well.
AN AL13 +++ aggressive was reviewed by IMCDB.
I saw that video as well, however an aggressive AL13 has never been offered through the store.
I've got several razors I'd trade for a Henson Razor.
Awesome interview. Sounds like they really know who they are at Henson. I’ve got to stop watching these interviews. Now I’m curious how the Henson shaves.
Haha, thanks for watching Matt!
I have very tough facial hair and the medium just can’t give me anything like a smooth shave. And there must be many other people with tough facial hair. It’s surely not as low as 10%.
25th of a hair... how much is that in football fields?
I bought the al13 it is terrible and gives me razorburn which I didn't get with my cartridge razor

Don't get lied to
I have had an excellent experience with Henson, it’s one of the best razors I have.
I would purchase an aggressive AL13 in the Tan color. I already have all of the other colors.
I have a link in the video description if you'd like to sign-up to be notified for an AL13 with the aggressive plate!
Woof
I feel like he spent at least 45 minutes rephrasing a 4 minutes idea
Sigh. I love my Henson Razor, but I shouldn't have watched this. Dude is way too Musk-y and inarticulate.
