RC big scale foam Duo Discus 6 meter glider building video time lapse

The building of this glider took about 2 months. Normally it will take 3 weeks but now I put more effort in the details. I used a new wing profile. About the same as the previous ASH-25 but a little bit thicker. This creates a bit more lift than the airfoil I used at the ASW-20. I added flaps in the wings because I don't like airbrakes. Flaps is a perfect alternative for slow flying and faster descend. The winglets are removeable. I have installed a alti and variometer. Next season I will test the performance with and without winglets. Soon the maiden flight will be made.
