Watched all the way through, and I can use almost every bit of this on my current project. As soon as my brain cools down, I’m going to go back through, heavily pausing, so I can try to replicate with my own fx. I’m going to start a container project so I can go back and re-export when I inevitably discover improvements.
Another killer one Pat! One side note, when saving Macros, on Mac at least, there is no "File" menu, saving is done via the 3 dots, top right of the Macro window. And yes, I watched it all…

One thing I've been trying to figure out but can't find answers to online that I'm hoping you'll be able to answer for me, I'm trying to create a custom tool in Fusion which will end up being a Fusion "Generator", and I want to have an "Open File" button at the top of the tool which will allow me to navigate the files on my computer and pick the relevant file I need for that particular situation. Is there a way to do this? I tried to reverse engineer the Fusion Effect "Watermark" to see how they do it in that tool, but so far no luck. Thanks!

One issue I've had with creating Macros is the controls not showing up in the Edit Page, but I haven't saved the Macro "as a group" so maybe that's what's causing the issue (thank you for explaining that option by the way, very helpful).
I watched this video to the end. I watched your presentation @ resolvecon, but ran into the same problem with clips that don't start at frame zero. I eventually found the compound clip workaround, but I was hoping there was a more elegant way and this video provided that way :)

A bit of a question. What happens if you make a preset in one framerate/resolution, but need to use it in a project that has a higher or lower framerate/resolution? Is there any additional work that needs to be done for it to work smoothly?
So say I make an effect/title/generator in a 30fps timeline, but want to use it in a 60fps timeline in the future, or vice versa.
I did watched the video all the way through, and as per usual it was very informative and helpful. And I hope to see you dive deeper into this stuff in the future.
Been having to spend less and less time away from editing, and knowing how to make these presets properly with any needed modifications settings is extremely helpful.

Hey, just wanted to say I watched the whole video. The way you explain things is just perfect. And also I want to ask for your help with the last thing you did. Is it possible to use that generator in the Edit page? I did the same thing that you did with the effect, but I can't find it on the folders of the Edit page. Maybe there is a specific place that it should be stored, but I tried all of them and still doesn't work T-T
I know this is exactly the video I need. However, I am having an issue in the first section when adding the title to the edit page. I do not have a tab for Templates or an Edit folder. Was that something you custom made?
