From listening to you as a kid in 1983 to being with me in the van during work oh the miles we have covered my friend, the jobs we've been on together.
You've been with me in the kitchen in the garden on all my jobs keeping me company through the wind rain and yes the sunshine geezer.
Things will never be the same again I lived in hope of the afternoons zinging with the sound of your upbeat voice and that of your posse again 😢
I will we will miss you terribly.
I am a lineman for the county
And I drive the main road
Searchin' in the sun for another overload
I hear you singing in the wire
I can hear you through the whine
And the Wichita lineman
Is still on the line

I'll own up, I always thought it was absolutely frightful!!
Steve, on the other hand, a frightfully decent & beautiful human being. I'll miss him terribly.
