Hey buddy, I have the same exact attenuator (JHS Little Black Box) and yes, it most certainly runs through the effects loop and you can run other pedals with it, like in a pedal chain. I have my “Little Black Box” sitting on top my amp head (Marshall Silver Jubilee), then I got the one wire from the SEND side of the effects loop to the input side of “The Little Black Box”, then from the output side of “The Little Black Box” I run that wire to the first pedal that I want in my effects loop chain,…. then lastly, I run my other wire from the return side of my effects loop to the last pedal I want in my effects loop chain. I’ve been running mine like that for almost a year, and works/preforms excellent! Hope this works for you! Will C.😎👍🏼
