Very comprehensive advice. This is so important to understand for many creative makers. Being interactive, personable and informative is rewarding. Thanks for telling it like it is.💖
You make so many good points here. I personally am not too focused on FB right now but I definitely got some good insights here for the little attention I do give it. One thing I am doing is engaging in FB groups. I mostly answer questions rather than create my own posts.
Thanks for watching Rebecca and I am glad you learned a few things. I think a lot of people expect traffic from Facebook without really understanding how the platform actually works and how people can find you on it. On instagram, there's the discovery feed and hashtags.. Pinterest is pretty much a search engine - but Facebook, it's a different type of beast!
I think I’ve watched every single on of your videos you are so incredibly helpful!! When it comes down to doing something about it I get stuck though 😳 I’m currently struggling finding my target audience - and might think of adjusting the type of jewelry I sell since it is probably misleading. I don’t know what the best thing to do is 😂

Thank you for this very helpful video. Well done. I do have a question, you said to be sure to engage with your customers on other pages. Do we engage as our personal Facebook page or our business Facebook page?
Always, always absolutely love your videos and perspective. Thanks Deb! Sharing this with my community where we tend to be guilty as charged with the excessively salesy posts.
Thanks Eden, I really appreciate that! Facebook is one different beast isn't it? I think understanding how it does (and most importantly) doesn't bring traffic really help understand how to leverage the platform better.
Hey deborah just came upon your channel and subscribed. you have good quality contect. A quick question: im still newbie to FB groups, should i make a business page to start FB groups or just personal ? your advice will be greatly appreciated . thank you
I have had 40 in my page almost a year mostly friends on my normal page that ive asked and they have been added to sales page.. Ive had people share but no interest from that.. I dont have anything outside of fb.. So i need a website? Etsy and ebay received no sales in 6 months so i removed items away. My posts tend to be salesy i do products in sales group.. Not on my main page...
Sorry to hear, Cheryl! It can be hard to build & scale a handmade business on Facebook. Most of the members in our community either build their shop on Etsy or have their own ecommerce website. - L
Are you making any of those Facebook marketing mistakes? Let me know!
I don’t care how many times this has been explained...
You nailed it! Thank you.
Thanks so much! Glad to hear you found this valuable :)
Thank you, this was such a helpful video. We're about to open a Facebook Page and I found this so insightful.
Glad it was helpful, Liz! Best of luck ☺️ - L

Depends on your goals, Abdellah! A FB Page is definitely a good platform to have so you can start building a following/audience. - L
