Powerful! Thank you Holy Spirit for using Ken and Jannelle to speak your wisdom and truth. Please Holy Spirit help many to support this family in spreading how to love God and to love our neighbor and do the will of God.
I chose teaching so I could have time with my kids. Now I am retired, I look after my grandkids. Teaching them about God, prayers, and spending time with them doing homework, etc🙏✝️💕
This reminds me of during Resurrection Sunday evening, April 2020, in the height of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown here, I called my 94 year old father who was in swing bed in the small hospital in Ellinwood, Kansas. He was so happy to hear from me and I was so happy to talk with him, particularly due to the isolations from the mandated precautions, and my late severely hearing impaired and severely disabled wife was still alive and home here with me. That was the last time I got to talk with Dad. He suffered a fall, was severely injured, was taken by ambulance to the hospital emergency room in this town, my second oldest brother called me, told me about it and to pray, and that it did not look good. I prayed for my dad. My dad died died shortly after, however. I'm all the more glad that I called him Easter Sunday evening when I did!
One holy priest once gave the scenario of comparing our life to an hourglass. We don’t know how much sand is left so we always need to be ready to meet Our Lord. Thanks for these podcasts, Ken and Janelle.
I love your evangelical blogs with us. Janelle and the children need you home. Keep doing these and pray for continued support. I will continue as I can. This was good and so so true! Time is our greatest gift from God, to God, to others, for others. Thank you and God bless. 🙏🏽💝😇🙏🏽❤
Another great podcast. Loved what Janelle shared about the saint who wanted to come back just to say another prayer, that desires me to prayer much better.
ThankYou Ken and Janelle. Jocelyn and I (Paul) are so great full of all Your videos You bring to use. We are supporters of Your ministry. We pray for You and Janelle and your children every day. We appreciate all You do. God bless You Kel and Janelle.🙏📿
I tried to include my children when I needed to leave town (usually for meetings related to my career) so they could be with me, as a family, and it allowed them to have far greater opportunities to experience than I did growing up. Yes, there were times when they were with their mother while I was in meetings. They now look back at these times as good memories. We make choices and sacrifices in everything we do.
During my father's recent funeral mass, his priest said during the homily that my father (who was in his late 90s when he asked), 'why am I still alive?'. He had been waiting to be with his wife (and God) for 25 years. He was in good health for his age and only gave up his license to drive a few years prior to his passing. So, if you live your life to the fullest - with God as your guiding light, you'll not ask for an extra hour, day or year. :-).
Okay Ken, you have me in tears. My son and his wife put my grandson in Daycare from when he was 4 months old. He’s still in Daycare- he just turned 4- - how very sad.🙏😢💔 Your family is everything.
@@uteme Pittsburgh- to Boston. No. And they want him in Daycare. I was a stay at home mom. Loved it. They both have their PhD’s. It’s something I gave to God. It’s just very sad.💔
you make a difference in people’s life! You guys are part of my morning routine getting up at 4:30 your morning prayer and rosary helping me getting my chores done before I go to work! Now as I am getting older ( 56 ) Raised four children I See clearly the path God has for me. Thank you to the both of you for what you do ! God bless you!
Yes! You will find that the older you get the faster time goes. Everyone has older ones telling us that but until you get there you'll not understand. It's like how crazy fast it seems that the grandchildren are growing up compared to my 4 chidren. Time is absolutely all we have and is the most precious gift. I've come to a place of trying to live as to not add to the regrets I have from earlier years of my life. I ask myself often if what I'm choosing to do for the day, the hour and or the minute will cause me future regret or lead me closer to eternity with God. I didn't so much do that in my younger years. I pray you, Ken, will be able to stay at home. Selfishly I want that, but mostly for Janelle and the children. I'm going to try to up my patreon, financial support today. I say try because I struggle with technology so it'll be trying to figure out how to do that. You 2 are like family after spending so much time with you these past few years. I will also increase my prayers for your ministry. I pray that you trust God to show you the way He would have you go. Love to all 9 of you❣️🙏🤲🙏💕💝
Today is my 70th. birthday and I totally agree, time flies by so fast!! Ken, I commented several years ago that COVID was a blessing in disguise for you because it prevented you from being away from Janelle & your children at a critical time in your marriage. I have been married for 50 yrs. and I can assure you, your marriage would not have survived your continued pace of traveling. Satan would have destroyed your marriage and family. Janelle would have tired and resented you for not being there to help her & your children would have rebelled in many ways because of your absence! God has blessed you and saved your marriage! Rejoice, you made the better choice! In a few short years, you will be 70 too! 🙂. Enjoy your family! God bless! 🙏
Such a great discussion. Your commitments take you physically away, but we all need to think about what takes us away from our primary mission in any way. The pandemic has certainly given us blessings while giving us so many challenges. It has brought more of us to trust and embrace technology. This is the wave we can rely upon to carry the two of you to more people. We NEED to think about these questions. Thanks for sharing. We will discuss what we can do to support you from our home.
I believe there needs to be a balance. Absolutely wonderful that you guys do these videos. Since Ken you are the breadwinner you could find a job close to home and still have time for the family, even if it’s not speaking. God matters and supporting one’s family financially is part of it. God bless you both🤗
Two thoughts i want to share on todays talk. 1st..my daughter & son in law had decided if she got oregnant she would be a stay at home mom..she did get pregnant..she was a stay at home mom..and they did lose 1/2 of their income..but guess what..all has worked out well for them. 2md..you talked about time..I was away from the Church for years, and finally am back for maybe 10 yrs..I thank God each day that he blessed me with the gift of time..time to come back to God, to Jesus and to The Holy Spirit..to my Faith..to me there is no greater gift than time. Ken..hopefully you will be able to do your public speaking in later yeats..but for now I would give those beautiful children the gift of You..Teresa
There is more out there for you. If you have extra time, give it to God. You can pray, you can complete acts of service, you can explore what God would like from those extra, burdensome hours. God has a plan for each of us and he's given you time to complete yours. Prayers that you may connect with that plan, that purpose. 🙏🙏🙏
God bless us all thank you fiat
You made the RIGHT choice! God bless! 🤗

So true about how fast the years go by. I am now 70 and I thought it would take LONGER to get here.
This a beautiful video thank you for sharing it 🙏🏻✝️☮️📿🙏🏻✝️☮️📿
Thank you for the reminder. I recently decided to take a "lesser job" to be able to be more present for my family. I'm so glad I made that decision.
Thanks for this reminder. You guys are couple goals.

Keep going! God provides and we are with you. Helping you in a very small way is my part to fulfill the call to evangelize given to all of us❤ hugs M

Time is a burden if you’re single, childless, and nearing 40. I would kill for less time, or better yet, to be at the finish line.
There is more out there for you. If you have extra time, give it to God. You can pray, you can complete acts of service, you can explore what God would like from those extra, burdensome hours. Ken. I think Janelle just justified why you need to continue your evangelization work and be apart from your family. Listen to St Iraneous
Hi Janelle - you mentioned at 8:00 mark about the saint who said about the Impact of one Hail Mary in our lifetime... Who is that saint?
