Nah.. i ride a Fixie, I don’t get the ignorant, aggressive and down right obnoxiousness most Fixie riders have… you can call it old school if you want…. But it’s just plain disregard for Motorists, Pedestrians and Other Cyclists!
You lost me at fixie
To Pin it, Like it and then Comment on a post you didn’t read.. I would have expected nothing less than this kind of reply.. 🙏🏼 you proved my point perfectly 👌🏼❤️
Just my opinion.. you do you 🤙🏼
nah dude you're just jealous that he can ride through the city naturally
shutup comboi
It's like it's choreographed. Like a scene from an action film and everyone has one job to do and they do it well... amazing
Wow that was the most beautiful thing. "Are you kidding me, you see this wave we caught".
Thanks for not using music, the silence of a tailwind is so nice
You guys timed those lights perfectly 13:55! So satisfying to watch :-)
wild!
Crazy stuff
Lol the dude on the Harley was out thought.
Catching an Ave. wave in Manhattan is so satisfying. It almost feels like you are compressing the length of the island itself because you blast by entire neighborhoods so fast. Bikes make NYC feel so small, and I mean that in a good way.
Great dynamic from the camera man. His pace and ability to capture the evasive maneuvers were awesome. It was as if you are experiencing the ride for yourself and shows how truly skilled you guys are as riders in the crazy city element.
8:23 pushes bus back into it's lane.
Yeah why did it switch lanes in the middle of an intersection?
Why did both the black SUV and bus switch lanes???? you cant in the middle of an intersection.
Damn didn't know Thor rides his bike to the avengers HQ
😂😂😂😂
Yeah, 8:24...he seems to push the bus gently and it gracefully floats back into his lane. Seems to be light as a feather, haha😂😂
Cooper Ray is a master artist and the Hotline just happens to be his medium. And the cinematography 😻 This raw cut deserves to be preserved foreverrrrrrrr People should be watching this at the MET!
9:49 - Times Square. Look at how empty it is man!
2020: LOL
This is definitely my favorite channel on UA-cam right now
I like Cooper Cay's riding style and his road awareness, and his road relaxed manner, and kindness to the little boy on his bike.
Motorcyclist: "Let's race"
Biker: *Immediately goes straight through red light
Motorcyclist & the law at the same time: "Am I a joke to you?"

Nice grading. What camera was that?
wana come to berlin and film ?
Pro trick: watch series on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies lately.
@Khalid Flynn yup, have been watching on Flixzone} for since december myself :)
@Khalid Flynn definitely, I have been using Flixzone} for months myself =)
Idk how to feel about this guy. He imbues deep hatred for cyclists with his close brushes against pedestrians, and sometimes nearly clips a random ped for no reason. But his technical mastery is otherworldly. It's mesmerizing the amount of hours of cycling must have gone into to create this perfect 21 minutes of natural flow through traffic. Dude isn't obsessed with wheelies or one-off tricks, just focuses on a steady consistent movement like a droplet of water. This is the direct opposite of an entry level cylist/motorist, who slows to a crawl on turns, slams the pedal on straights, and slams the brakes at a stop.
You can't talk about mastery and skills when you break the law. Are bank robbers and criminals masters and skilled humans because they do things normal people don't even think to try?...
@@dilyan-2904 That's why everyone loves to watch bank robbery films like Heat? People love to see a professionally executed heist, that comes with years of experience and planning. But I wouldnt put the crimanality of this anywhere near the same level of a robbery, maybe it's similar to the exciting yet dangerous world of professional drifting in japan on public mountain roads.
It is mad skill
Skilled and kind of an ass. You can be both. It'd be cooler if he did a video flowing through traffic, but not being an ass sometimes completely unnecessarily.
Yeah I commute by bike everyday and this guy is why people HATE cyclists
3:23 Sketchyyy! Even homeboy was lookin back to see if the cinematographer was still behind him lol 3:33
Nice work! I love the atmosphere. The audio is so good, as if it was edited. The wide angle adds to the immersion. Thank you for that!
14:18 motorcycle bruh tried to flex, he lasted about 4 lights. Later!
Uh he can still catch up with them.
and it was a pretty fair fight with the light timings, too
Agreed Evan, it was a good battle for 3 or 4 blocks but after consecutive red lights he got dropped.
Good cat6
he tried... hahahaha
Whenever I watch videos like this I wish there was a short intro of the persons bike. Cause I’m always curious as to what sort of gear inches they are rocking. Plus its just interesting to see what people from all over the world are using.
Cooper has super strength, shown at 8:23, with how he pushed the bus into another lane. I knew Cooper was strong!
that was the x men force field bro ... watch again 🥹
THANK YOU for NOT putting music in this. Raw and real.
dude, i'm from brazil and it is like a dream to see streets like that. just great pictures.
Tons on envy by my part too
Same
I live in TX and i would die to live in NeyYork just so i can go on rides like this everyday
The was the finest of finest riding I have ever seen. I am new to the fixie world and sad I never tried to understand it sooner.. The fixie life looks to awesome
Pffft... Dayum, watching this again cuz it's THAT GOOD! Coop is aces, and a big shout out to Terry, you're right there with him the WHOLE time!!! #beautiful #ridethatwave
Man I wish I was 20 or maybe 25 years younger living in New York because I know for sure I would be doing this. Unfortunately I'm not, I'm living in the Irish countryside which has it's own appeal but not the adrenaline rush of doing this. Thankfully I had a few good years in London riding hard but nowhere near this level and as a bonus I got to know the city as good as any tour guide. Any young people watching this video who thinks it would be for them, I suggest go for it a give it a try. Don't be like me and have regrets and be kicking yourself that you didn't make the time or create the opportunity to ride like this. I've watched a few of these videos now and everytime the same two words spring to mind "smooth" and "flow". Thanks for the videos and stay safe everyone.
you can still ride breh, just do it
Well done for making a video that is both intense and relaxing at the same time. Also well done for not dying!
this never gets old.... it's poetry in motion
Cooper-I'm a fan of your riding prowess and your love of fixed gear bikes!
Please do more of these videos!! Greetings from Australia!
Here after watching the Bronx ride with all red lights. The polarity between the two is hilarious.
This is the best verision of frogger i have ever seen.U guys see the channels in the algorithm of NYC...
Thanks for the tour! Great vid, much love from Philippines!
I’m glad Terry doesn’t apologize. Just live and let ride.
The flow is *strong* in this one
Better than the last two movies I watched. This is an art form
Man you make sweet videos honestly "movies" art. It's smooth and pleasing to watch plus placing the mic with your ride even better. 🤙🏿
From 7th to Fidi, I remember it so fondly. Making traffic look stoopid. Can't wait to see a new one
Super dangerous riding like that, but it's crazy exhilarating and going bobbing through cars like nobody's business. Also going from 42nd st. to WTC in 10 minutes is
super impressive especially on a fixie.
9:50 "Times Square... look how empty it is man..."
2020: Hold My Beer...
Why are there no Paramedics riding FIxed Gear around NYC, the could arrive much faster and save more Lives
because uhmm wdk
i've seen in são paulo some sorta of pre-paramedics on motorcycles arriving with some sorta full road packed alike motorcycles full of stuff to be done before the ambulance comes, he may resolve it before or not.. but they might be private sector
but yeah idk exactly why no motos in nyc but yeah track bikes paramedics then sounds great idea that's too bad that mostly or maybe the totally of us are locos
i took your question with really positive enthusiasm dude(rina).. quick search here and i've discovered first time in my life about cycling responders; they have in london with nhs service operating in busy areas like west end, heathrow, Kingston town centre, the City of London and St Pancras on their custom-built Specialized Rockhopper mountain bikes packed with defibrillator, oxygen, diabetes stuff, adrenalin, cleanser stuff.. they attend 16.000 calls a year and resolve most of cases in the scene, check:
www.londonambulance.nhs.uk/calling-us/who-will-treat-you/single-responder/cycle-responder/
a great interview with tim chivers, a london cycle responder telling about his qualifications and progress www.evanscycles.com/coffeestop/news/tim-chivers-london-cycling-paramedic
57k views are you kidding me ?
This channel is a gem.
it's so nice to watch it. props to a cameraman , ..spectacular. and no music idea - perfect !!
Supreme confidence and skill I could only dream of having. Amazing!
9:48 Such a beautiful shot man
So much Anxiety 😂😂 But awesome rush
We don’t know how good we had it until he left this is a premium line
I get the sweats everytime I watch these videos. Makes Northern Blvd and Queens Blvd look like a walk in the park.
Hitting every green thing of beauty this was
he moves like an air or wind so sharp and light. like flowy ? idk how to describe but beautiful :)
Awesome video That's how I ride.. I can't wait to visit New York soon
I'm just in awe at how he flows and weaves through so many obstacles. Yes, this video will trigger most people and many will call it wreckless and dangerous. Which of course it is. But I just can't help but be amazed at his confidence and skills on a fixie with absolutely no brakes. This dude never has to worry about being late due to traffic haha
truth
I remember Cooper winter of 2014 we were working for Street Kings we both went to work when it was 15° out it was ridiculous but fun shout out to Cooper Ray he gets down so Friday crazy by the Barclays the other day 💯💯💯
Man riding in NY looks mad fun
Bruh the speed you guys are hits the intersections is wild
These videos are so sick 🤘
flexing on that ambulance. you guys go 10x as fast.
Enjoyed watching this one. Better than premium rush movie
green lights sync is perfect. Cooper owns this city
Nice flow, nice and smooth....
Especially excited to watch this insane video because this route is so familiar to me. You guys are awesome. Stay safe.
love the two riders perspective with that dude johnsson and cooper at the beginning
I was there yesterday for a business trip and rented one of those dumb city bikes to ride around the city. I did this basically on a less extreme level. But it was like 2 am when I finished and they don’t lie when they say it never sleeps. People were still out and about as if it was 5pm. Needless to say I had a blast.
The technique can be good, but when you see a lots of disrespect for the pedestrians, makes you a big joke "look's how cool and wild I am almost hurting someone". Do not encourage this type of behavoir, man. we must respect the bike, respect the ppl. Thnks
I've only hit 3 ppl....but they all walked away.
@@quoththeraven3985 You just validated his point....
@@aaronstrange4927 Yes and i also shows the mentality of these people
@@mikelyoloson2743 bruh, ppl walk in the bike lane, cars take the bike lane, construction takes the bike lane.
Majority of nyc ISNT actually ment for cycling..i think the bike lanes were added like..7 yrs ago? 10?.
Im not excusing reckless driving. But cyclists have been biking this city like this since they could practically walk.
Pedestrians are the onlyones w no class when it comes too ny traffic lol. Anyone not watching where theyr goin rlly.
New yoke lyfe😎
@@mikelyoloson2743 consider this; pedestrians who jwalk and cut off traffic in mobs, vs 2 bikers who caught two green lights, timming their distance and speed, for a light, TWO lights ahead..in MANHATTEN..
I wonder..next time you go for a walk..tell me how many lights you can SEE let alone catch- and try not too take your eyes off traffic and walker traffic😐
19:06 thats so cool !
So in NYC you can just ride wherever you want? Not caring about red lights, pedestrians and if it is a one way street? Dope.
Beautiful wave of thrill riding. ❤️ Great content.
Damn i wish i lived in a flat city like that, living in city that is filled with hills makes it exhausting to ride a bike to work ( i sweat like a pig )
Head a little more north and there are hills in the city.
Man I cant get enough of your channel. Great work!
adrian camacho awesomeee!!!
What a super stabilized camera man!
One of the best natural bodybuilder
This is what I need after a long work day, though it's a exercise it feels amazing......
i´m sittin here, takin ma breakfast, sippin on ma tea and enjoy the ride. great job, stay blessed!
Hi, could you ride a tour through the places where the warriors has been recorded?
Thing of beauty and inspiration! Thanks for sharing these
Franchement cette vidéo est incroyable le pilote et le cameraman sont juste trop fort et qu'elle belle ville
13:33 was he talking about the potholes or the cycle lanes?
Dope video bro!🔥🔥🔥
I love cycling and driving but watching these NYC videos I wonder why anyone even bothers to drive in the city
My favorite vid in this series.
You are surfing like a real X-men.
Power Move Broth.🚴♂️💨
Nice vid Btw. 💪
What a beautiful ride. Was anyone else excited when he beat that motorcycle?
i couldn't help but smile as the sound of the motorcycle slowly faded out
9:50 (referencing Times Square) "Look how empty it is!"
little did he know, 1.5 years later, covid.
I find this so peaceful to watch. And a nice long video... that’s 20 mins well spent, 20 mins closer to getting my hotline tee 😁
На это можно смотреть вечно! Лучшее видео от Терри! А Купер Рэй и Брайан Сафа просто монстры трафика!
thank you very much Terry!!!
Gotta love NYC 😊🥳🗽
That “hotline” song is disturbing! I’m going to google it now ! I enjoy these videos. Thank you for making them. “Safa tries to kill me is my favorite”
shaun89759 were you able to find it?
That video gives me heart attacks lmao safa is freaking crazy!
shaun89759 found it btw: HotLine Ericsson Commercial
Hands down one of the best videos I have ever watched. Wow!
All it takes is one car to floor it on a yellow light and you're gone. Yeah, waiting for the lights as soon as possible might save time ,but have you ever known that there's other people other than you?
But you do you! And if you enjoy that do that! Peace! Just be careful please
when cutting red lights you're always looking and making sure no one's gonna do that and if they are about to you slow down and let them pass first
NYC traffic flow is much much slower than smaller cities.
Your city looks amazing! :o
Hey Terry, This video in my opinion is going to be Iconic. Well done!!
Que personas tan estúpidas
Video is very drive and cinematic! Looks aweesome!)
That rocket skitch at 19:05 looks perfect
My dream is this ride, on a fixed tandem, with Katie Yost
at the handlebars and myself at the back.
Chewin' on Candyfloss through Time square.
Awesome, guys. Each guest has his own personality and way to ride. Cooper is, like in Mexico we say, ratonero wich mean little mouse . A lot of skills in this video. Once again, Terry, you're a really good hunter
thats deep bro
I can't help but think how much faster the bikes on this channel would be if they had gears. Greetings from an Amsterdam city race biker!
This is y favorite fixed gear video so far. And I never thought I'd say that, but I really want to see NYC and some day in my life. I HATE big city's. I literally hate it. Been to downtown Munich with a car for one single time because I missed the exit on the autobahn and that was a freaking nightmare. I really prefer to spend time in nature (Mtb, hiking, bushcraft) as far as possible away from dumbasses and day to day life in the city, but NYC by foot or with a bike.... Dang it man 👌. I don't know what it is but your video is oddly satisfying
Those vids look like a really neat video game.
Damn I need to ride my bike in New York
Try not to die
@@Co-km6cl I'll do my best
just dont start trying to ride like this... human bodies are very fragile
No you don’t!
Me to , salutations from Montreal QC
Much better than watching TDF and more talent as well.
Cooper ray is a joy to watch.
i swear the intro and thes vids are addictive..salute from Mallorca
This is fascinating. At 13:34 he points to the bike lane and says " these things are the death of any cyclist" . What does he mean by that like it forces you to ride a certain place or what?
Epic clip!! As always...
