There's that old cliche about a good rhythm section before anything else can start to move. I'd go further - the other members of the band have to chip into that time-keeping thing. When you hear it, as here, it is obvious. Just brings a smile to the face. And that despite whether you like shouty angry singing, or whether band members look like something. This band know their shit, and incidentally, write good songs.
Most don’t appreciate the skill and experience required to keep that “loose” rock group feel while keeping perfect time. That’s the balance that makes a mid-tempo rock song sound “driving” and “energetic”, it’s the trick that makes Springsteen and the Stones still impress people live.
One of the most underrated bands out there. Check out ‘The Monitor’ to get into them, and work up to the full-length Rock Opera. These guys deserve a LOT more love!
I cannot relate to this yelling stuff, just my preference or taste. I'll wait for another band or performer who does something melodic and prettier, I can hardly make out a single word he says/yells/screams. I'll look forward to a band with singing, this was hard to listen to for me, sorry to be negative I'm sure some enjoy this noise.
@@bigdaddycone3810 I like pleasant noises any day I was open to give this music a chance it just doesn't appeal to me perhaps the anger could be justified but i have no clue what the lyrics are and don't think anger is the way to help this messed up world we live in

Yeah plenty of people are open to various styles of music. And they may also be adverse to the noise you enjoy.
