Imagine we had teachers like you instead of “lecturers” in good old med student days? How different would all doctors turn out to be… Noticed your sigh @22:52 too 😁 Must’ve been tough to put all of this together with such clarity and perfection. If anyone wanted a review of physiology of cardiac action potential, they would not have to go through 10 different textbooks. People don’t appreciate you enough. You’re a legend. 👏
I can't thank you enough for this video. I have been banging my head against the wall trying to understand this topic through videos and books that try to simplify it to the point that it becomes confusing. In my anatomy class, I was forced to memorize the facts as they were given to me (even though they seemed like nonsense) and regurgitate them for the test. Your videos offer true understanding. It took me all day to get though, but it's a huge relief to finally understand it. Thank you so much, Dr. Strong.
Hi Dr strong .I really appreciate your work . I am not a student .I am a gynecologist from Iran .that was wonderful .You could say: I know this video took a lot of your time. Only a true love for teaching could inspire a doctor to dedicate her time to make such a helpful video.
Hi Dr Strong i really appreciate your work and am thankful that you made it accessible for everyone putting it for free on UA-cam. I am currently preparing for my licensing exam in Germany. Though my exam is in German language i am just watching your videos and taking notes. Because i cannot find such excellent resource in any other language atleast not in the ones i know. I hope you continue your excellent work and May God bless you and your family with good health and joy.
Thank you Doctor Strong , wonderful lecture. I manage to finish it but probably need to re watch many time for slow learner like me. It is lucky for medical students around the world could access to lecture and rewatch until one gets it. I had a very hard time as student. If I didn’t know how to take notes in lecture, ( now there is video teach you how to take notes) , then I left with Guyton ‘s Textbook in English language. I was completely struggled. Actually I was screwed up so bad. Nothing sticks in my brain at all. Anyhow before I left for US training , the dean told me, that doctors listen to this many time through out their life ,throughout their career. It is so so true. Your channel is the best , the best in medical education, Your contribution to medical education , is huge. I am lucky that I ran into this. I am looking forward to your next lecture the. Thank you very much.
This is amazing to see these complicated concepts (which I was struggling for almost 1 year to understand properly!) Are being explained so clearly and made easy. Like always, Nice job Dr. Strong!
Lol. Thanks! I had initially intended to become a cardiologist when I started intern year, but then decided that I wasn't up for "playing the game" necessary for landing a cards fellowship position. That's probably why my videos, particularly early on, have had a bias towards cardiology and critical care.
You are what I imagined medical teachers would be like before I got into medicine. Thank you Dr. Strong.
Lovely ❤

Yes normal
My normal resting heart rate was always between 110 and 90
