I would give the game a go. Learning it can be very challenging and rewarding. Just ya know... might want to mute everyone. What I've gathered is this is the most played game in the world still after like 7 years. And it's free. You'll meet assholes. But other than that it truly is a really good game and I personally love it. If you want to understand the best way to do that is to play. If not then well I guess I'm shouting into the void 😂

It's a bit awkward watching a $500,000 team in a video that had a $1,000,000 team in the notification I clicked on haha.
500K is also clickbait. The team is actually way cheaper than that. He's spending (6x2) 12k per month on them, that's only 144k per year and all teams receive 30k + a share of Ad revenue + sub revenue from Riot. There's probably some bonuses attached if they're winning a lot so maybe add 20-30k, it's still probably only 150k/year. Even if he gives them all a 1k raise it wouldn't be 250k/year.

@@Laine_SH Toast's team is NOT an academy team and the 75K salary minimum rule does not apply to him. There are only 3 academy teams left in NACL, only those orgs are required to pay their players a 75K minimum salary, other 7 orgs are free to pay whatever the players will accept. There was even an unsigned F/A team team this season, where no one was getting paid anything.
This is why that DSG player rejected two juicy offers from other teams/orgs. He knew this team can do it 🤧👏💖
Those offers were for teams in the LCS the main NA league, DSG is in the tier 2 league. Even if DSG wins every match they won't be in Tier 1.
The player in question has previously competed in LCS but lacked a team this season. They then chose to compete for DSG because the conditions and environment were more comfortable (they didn't need to be in bootcamp and could play from home).
The first offer they gave a response with their terms, but the other team took too long to reply (likely fielding other offers) so they withdrew their response as the season was starting and they didn't want to leave DSG in a bad state by leaving right as they were about to play as well they didn't want to be a last minute add-in to an existing team and not have any practice or familiarity with the rest of the team.
The second offer was well into the season and it was to be a sub on their team not the main roster and so turned it down.
Next year they will likely join an LCS team.

lmao, so true when toast talked about league dying in NA cuz all the veterans just say "NOOOOOOO" when anyone asks them if they should play. When arcane came out so many people asked me, I just told them to cherish the memories of the series and save their mental.
What makes me happy is the DSG player plays Sejuani, which Toast used to win a Twitch tournament with, and Amumu, which Toast uses when he plays with friends.

I think in the LCS, the bottom 2 teams should be up for rotation or they need to open 2 spots. Either way the bottom 2 need to play in an 8x play-off(6 challenger 2 LCS)with the challengers and the winner and #2 get the bottom/challenger 2 spots in the LCS.
They used to do relegation style teams before franchising. They went away from relegation style for multiple reasons, you can look up online the reasoning for it back when they made the switch away from relegation.
When I see DSG comp I thought of marin(rumble)and bengi (trundle) faker(leb) it brings bakc memories in that old T1😢❤❤❤

They made playoffs so are already further along than the Main Valorant team that imploded (they already played the entire regular season before this). The Valorant Game Changers team also made the main event and made it to the Upper Final so their worst possible placement will be 3rd place.

I watch turkish LOL leage I enjoy it a lot and there are some serious players thereand they might be cheaper than any other players plus they are hungry for proving themselves outside their country so yeah.
