Also it turns out to be really important to use the proper import tool and this work flow. Just copypasting the camera parameters from the application doesn't catch everything. Beyond what you showed, using the 3D guide to set a scene origin and Reference Distance for the scale is really sweet to make sure the scene is nice and orderly.

So if there is a one point vanishing point. And you don't know the focal length of the camera does that mean you won't be able to put it in the correct perspective?
I can run the programme fine, but the addon doesn't install properly. I download the zip, when I try to click install in blender it wants me to install __inti__.py, addon.py and fspy.py individually. I install them all and I dont see the addon in the addons menu.

The exact file he showed, fspy-1.03-win.zip I believe is a windows program, (-win). It shows that you can get it for mac and linux, I'd try one of the other installation optiosn though.
texturing from an image should be pretty simple. Just pull off an Ian Hubert move and use an image texture as the material and project the image from view with a few tweaks

Are you on 2.7x or 2.8, because the latest version of the addon (1.0.3 as of now) dropped support for versions older than 2.8. If you are still using 2.7x either consider switching or use the older 1.0.2 version.
@@realfaker im sure its just false alarm, I used BLAM for a long time and doubt he'd go that way down. I force installed it and my AV did not say anything so yeah. nice video btw!
When in doubt, use virustotal.com, it uses more than 50 different antivirus programs to check files for safety. Don't worry if you get a few false positives in there, some antivirus scanners are a bit overzealous.
Hold down shift when positioning the markers and it will magnify the area for more accurate placement.

Camera is upside down when you imported to blender. To avoid that problem , select -Z instead of Z in F-spy.

@@theotimail I have that problem as well so in the end my solution or rather workaround is that I select the face I want to modify in regular 3D, and when it's selected, I go to camera view with Num0 and Extrude or Grab in the direction that I want, aligned with the camera view.
Try to import the reference again, but as a background image, not a reference
I worked around it by adding the wireframe modifier to the object I'm using instead of going into wireframe mode

I cannot get this addon to work with 2.81a which recently got out on Steam. Isnt it compitable yet?

@@Asmund648 You will find it in blender here: Edit -> Preferences -> Addons and in the search bar write fspy, and make sure it's checked

You can try to select your camera > hit the R key > hit X key > type 180 > and then hit Enter key
