There is one at the great temple on balthazar. Once you pay him the money for a profession, you unlock it as a secondary and can swich to any of the ones you have unlocked/payed for.
You actually proved you own question... You demonstrated the combo of Escape w/ Dwarven Stability. Although the example I used in the video was offensive, combo can be used in defensive mind skills as well. Ex: Stone Striker and Mantra of Earth. Although niether are Elite Skills; the Ele skill Striker converts everything to Earth damage; while the Mes skill Mantra reduces that Earth damage by 50% and you gain 2 energy each time you are hit.
@RoyCoert: go to the Offical Wiki and click skills, and then click Ranger. And that will give you every single ranger skill out there. Click on the attribute to only look at that attribute.
IWAY is a very situational skill that was mostly used for sacrificing your pets and then using it for the bonus off the pets dieing. But if I remeber correctly, it was nerfed from that a long time ago. If you are going for tanking, Defy Pain is the skill you are looking for. And because its a 5 Adr skill, you can upkeep it. Its an Elite Skill from Proph or Tome it. Also there isnt much for Ranger secondary for Warrior. Try Monk for hard rez and Para for other adr skills.

I was just throwing skills on a bar to show how skills interact with each other... and I have used this build as part of a condition pressure in GvG AND RA and won several battles with them... in fact in RA, we rolled threw to TA... So its not completely useless, but thank you for your comments.
Well, you are trading offensive for defensive. Your job is to be the damage in this situation so your monk shoul dbe the one keeping you alive. If they are not, you are either putting yourself in a bad situation or they are not doing their job. Aside from that, if the cause of missing is from blindness, then mending touch might help ya. If its from blocking, use Sun and Moon Slash or Warrior's Cunning to bypass that. Also try Furious Axe gives you 3 Adr if blocked.
This is a really helpful video, thanks very much. I just started GW and after playing Final Fantasy for years, it's all pretty foreign to me. Does the Wiki page recommend builds and primary/secondary classes also? I've had trouble figuring out what are good combos/builds.
yea i guess switching to monk is smarter, i do have defy pain, but i really like my dragon slash elite. it (dragon), lions comfort, for great justica all give me adrenaline with the final result being i can constantly give high damage. it's just that once an enemy makes me miss all the time i need something to keep me up, since lions comfort only reloads fast if i hit. a monk 2ndary will have to do i guess.. just what skill
yea you're right the monk henchman and such have pretty bad ai and since i didn't have monk as 2ndary proffesion i couldn't capture elite monk skills. i'll look into that immediatly. great thing a monk has a skill against such things as blindness.

You can set their skills, armor, items and battle strategy. in other words, you build them the way you want and need. The henchmen are now waste of space save the early game. In fact, your better off getting a pug.
Hey buddy nice vid helped mewhen i started i used that build it wasnt my kinda of build i like doing a high number attack build so i changed i a bit used splinter and barrged and it worked fine thxs for the vid and could u make one about dervish cuzz the update kinda got me lost and all thxs again :D
@mw2account1: thats how to get a meta build... not how to make a build... Copy/Paste a cookie cutter does not hel people on how to make the build. Just because you can copy/paste a build, doesn't mean you know why it works.
for MM, can't go wrong with Monk. Although, Heros make better MM's. Not to say don't do it, but they have better management and are better at targeting minions with skills then a human player can.
Old vid, but WTF.... For PVE, I start with reviewing what opposing skills I will need to counter and what skills I can bring that can't be mitigated well. Conditions, hexes, enchantments, damage types, etc. I then pick the best henchmen (now hero team builds) for those foes. Finally, I create my personal build last that synergizes with that team.
@@tarheel7406 havnt played in forever... butni think the Necro way still works for heros. I was the originatior of the Reapers Mark spamer. I also created the Me/Para signet spammer hero too. Those were the days i gave Izzy Cartwright (ANET skill balencer) headaches, HAHAHA. Miss those days...
i've got a warrior/ranger with lions comfort, i will avenge you and endure pain but i still think he dies to fast, any other skill i can replace "i will avenge you" with or "endure pain"? i feel like my build always lacks that tiny extra that changes it from a good build to a great build

Nice video, but I do have some commentary though. The way of making builds you're advertising here is making gimmick builds. These types of builds typically have skills that all interact with each other, meaning that their cumulative power is greater than the power of the individual skills. In pve this is also probabely the best way of making builds. In pvp though, I think there's more potential in balanced builds, where your character has multiple rolls to fulfill and is less prone to shutdown.

There are more combos out there, find them!
