I’m assuming all propellers are turning clockwise. Does simulating failures on number 1 and 2 produce much more yaw/degraded performance? Did I imagine a six engine Lazair in the 80’s/90’s? I have fond memories of learning to fly on a two place in British Columbia. Thanks for these videos.
Yes all are clockwise. 1 and 2 failing was a different test before I had cameras mounted but I did not notice any difference due to torque. I don't remember any 6 engined Lazairs but it is likely someone did it. I am hoping that my vidoes will help me remember the Lazair feeling when I get older and frailer than I am now :)
Thanks, but I personally side with the people who use 'motor' and 'engine' interchangeably. Also, for this particular test, I believe that 'failure' is more appropriate than 'work'. Hopefully you might agree if you re-read the video's detailed description.
Another demonstration of the versatile and capable eLazair. I'm not sure any other plane could do that so easily.
Very cool as you put it all to the test.
This thing is awesome. I fly Skyraider on floats ultralight.

Niccce! ...but let's call it "motor" work.
