Direk Lav Diaz, I discovered yesterday about your film here on UA-cam and I say I really likes it. I like the background style of the film which is black and white. Count on me, I'm a fan now. Keep on doing films like this like Ang babaeng humayo. All I can say is maganda tlga ang story.
I haven't seen his films yet but based on this short introduction/interview, he sounds interesting. The movie wouldn't be recognized at the Locarno Festival if he or his work isn't. Yung comment niya na "Kahit isang tao lang ang mano-od ng kanyang 11-hr na película, OK lang sa kanya", means he doesn't care of who approves of his films so long as he's given it his best.

Inspirasyon si Lav. Nun una ko makita yun pelikula niya na Mula sa kung ano ang noon. Nakita ko yun hirap ng buhay at tableau ng probinsya namin.

what are some examples of movies/hobbies/interests youre into that you dont consider boring?
