This is gorgeous. How much is the dry weight with the OB? looks great. Thought I had found the boat I wanted with the Jeanneau 795... but I have to rethink that now.
The Americans love them. And their “gas” is super cheap. Brits brought up on Seagull Silver Century outboards have a natural reticence towards outboards. Personally I’m torn. Huge petrol consumption on a hard driven outboard. But servicing and maintenance faff on a big inboard diesel is something to be very aware of.
Ob1sdarkside the two boats approach the job in very different ways. The Axopar slices through the sea; the Botina batters it into submission and has a feeling of solidity that few can compete with.
Jack Boat Tester: we’ve got both length Axopars in our boatyard. The owners are absolutely besotted with them. I’ve yet to scam a ride but they have missed a trick on the head design and incorporation. On the 37 it’s just a lift up seat in the cabin. Any wife is going to have a coronary when you wake up in the middle of the night to do your business. Obviously designed by a younger man (who can’t afford it) to be sold to an older man with a weak bladder.
Bad idea to have an outboard on a boat like this. Does not sit protected from the sea. Much better with a protected inboard. But in the United States, it is common for them to put outboards on larger boats. But it's not nice. But this is a type of boat like a jeep at sea. A real work boat basically.
@@JedemPoKucama I never work on my yacht I have contractors and an on board engineer for that. But when I did have smaller boats no I hated them. Nothing like a good engine room. My favourites are Nordhavn ' s.
Beautiful walk around boat,period!

We need to see more targa boats
Great idea! I could keep the wife and the dog under the cockpit floor. One of them would be very pleased to see me when I let them out!
I like the look - and I can imagine bouncing over the water at 33 - 39 knots ... with a smile on my face
Very nice.
Interesting design

Any boats in the US like this? What style if boat is this? Love the idea of a small boat with outboards and sleeping for two.
It's a hard boat to label but you might call it an SUV of the sea?
Axopar 28!
whats the point of the gasoline outboards, lower draft? and they probably use more fuel
Ease of maintenance. Lots of manufacturers going the outboard route now.

Looks quick through the rough, is it better than an axopar?

Well filmed video but am afraid I am no fan at all of outboards
You don't like reliability and easy access when working on the engine?

Looks dated!
Targa, Sargo, Nord Star, they all have a timeless design that is quite polarizing. Some people like it, some don't.
And Arctic Boats 😎
