    Wow!What a guitar.I have heard throughout my introduction to guitar playing that when you reach the top of your game as a guitarist,one should go all out and splurge a bit and reward oneself with purchasing a Martin.
    I now fully understand.When I first started playing I could barely tell the difference between guitars But my first visit to guitar Center changed all that,as I mulled and milled over what guitar to buy-and I tried many that day-after coming out of the: acoustic sound room I fully understood the difference between G maker and scale of model/price.
    Anyone can appreciate the magnificent sound quality of a guitar like that that was presented.But your juices don't start flowing and your dopamine doesn't start pumping until you actually pick up a guitar and start picking.This guitar that we all were fortunate enough to hear pulls out and emotional response from all that listen;it almost has soul cause it moves your soul.You could see the almost ecstatic facial joy the player was feeling when strumming
    on that guitar that's old enough to be our Granddad.Thanks be to the owner of that museum piece who allowed us all to witness with our ears such sounds of wonderment.And a cornucopia coin toss into that hat of that refined guitar player,he gave us a ride down guitar lingo/terminology by explaining sound coloration and separation,and blending by playing examples of it while explaining,as well as his fine expertise in playing and choice of songs to give us all a pleasurable experience along with a guitar lesson.The text responses are all spot on and in a world of indifferences that we all see there wasn't one negative word to be said.Great delivery to all those who made this presentation possible,if I can speak for us all as players and listeners.Thank you with all sincerity.Job well done.And when your days'are done,which won't be for quite a many-a-years,may the gates of Guitar Heaven receive you all gloriously.Thanks again for providing mana for my ears.

    It just makes me wonder, why would you change the way you were making something if it's perfect. I know the age has a lot to do with the sound. It just doesn't make any sense why they thought they improved on that. Great demo, amazing guitar.

    • @howabouthetruth2157
      @howabouthetruth2157 Місяць тому +3

      It's not just the age, which does make a difference as we all know.....but the quality of the wood they had available back then also has a lot to do with it. I've heard it said that a lot of the woods they used back in the 30's was already 30 to 50 years old when they built the guitar.

      @ lmao is that what Joe rogan told you. Clothing wears out twice as fast, insurance gets you half the coverage , vehicles last half as long , home appliances go bad in 2-3 years. And yes guitars are made with a lesser quality of wood for the standard model martins. You call that innovation ? That’s hilarious

    • @bobsmith-ji2uh
      @bobsmith-ji2uh Місяць тому +2

      @@dmcrisp your clothes wear out twice as fast as compared to what? You think appliances were more efficient? You’re nostalgic for things you never experienced from a time you didn’t live in. As far as the quality of wood being better in instruments it’s sincerely doubt anyone in a blind test could really accurately pick out which one is vintage. They’ve done this with concert level musicians with violins and they almost all failed. Profit is what motivates innovation and grows business and development. That’s why Taylor can make tens of thousands of good guitars every year and not a few hundred.
