One of my favorite comedies of the 80s. When I moved away for college at the end of the decade I took two VHS tapes with me…this was one. Great memories of a fun time in life.
John Ritter, yes, I loved some of his works. Skin deep is one of my all time favorites. Who here feels like they are struggling with life. Do you drink, do drugs and you keep searching for the wrong things and making the same mistakes. If so this movie you will relate to as it teaches an amazing lesson and yes you will love the song after you watch the movie. Enjoy it and God blessya.
Bought the DVD a few months back its hard to get here in the U.K but got it on line. Great film hand't seen it since the late 80's, great track and sadly missed John Ritter :(
This entire film is perfection! Sometimes people forget this was a Blake Edwards film and his films were always perfection. John Ritter and Blake Edwards together created this wonderful and perfect film.
GOOD SONG & CLASSIC slept on MOVIE *r.i.p* (JOHN RITTER) U was a cool cat while you was here & I have nothing but fond memories of you & all the movies & tv shows you were in & im only 29
This is my favorite comedy of all time. There are plenty of comedies that I like and love, but this is my all time #1. On the occasion when someone ask me what my favorite comedy movie is, I have to pause and explain to them that the title sounds like a porno before I tell then what it is. :)
This is how I feel about my United States. I no longer recognize this country and culture. I spent a lifetime believing in this land of ours. But maybe it's not my home anymore.
Every other thing, at least. Edwards directed something like 50+ films so there were gonna be some bad ones (Trail of the Pink Panther...) but when he was good, as with this film, he was really good.
This song, this movie and always John Ritter will never be redepicated ever, seen it when I was 10 u make me laugh now and since than your superior to your trait and compassion rip mister Ritter c u than! Bye😅😀
Not funnier than Three's Company, but there were several hilarious parts. Do you not have the dvd? The tagline is "The Comedy that glows in the dark." Good Morning America called it one of the funniest films of the year. How come you didn't find it funny? Because there was no laugh-track like Three's Company had? yawn
One of my all time favorite movies! Blake Edwards was a great writer! John Ritter was fabulous in this film! Rest in Peace to you both!

Some films just sick with you, as funny as this was, there is a deeper meaning to it. This was John's finest work.

I for one do consider it a classic. It was just that great!
The acting range of John Ritter blew me away with his performance in this movie. So under appreciated. RIP John Ritter.
One of my favourite 80's movies. Love it!
I simply love this theme song. Love the music and especially the lyrics. Good job Ivan!!!!!!!!!!
John Ritter was one of the funniest men to ever grace the earth and see him work with Blake Edwards is even better.
this whole movie is done perfectly. Ritter was a comedic genius and great actor.
I couldn't agree more. That movie was, to me, the funniest one ever.
I think after Peter Sellers passed away, John Ritter was an excellent choice to star in a Blake Edwards film.
Iconic comedy. Rest in Peace, John 😔😔❤️
💯 This film is a classic, and the fulfillment of John Ritter's potential as an actor. This was the best work of his career.
Love it! Massively under-appreciated song & film. Both were brilliant then & still hold up now.

This entire film is perfection! Sometimes people forget this was a Blake Edwards film and his films were always perfection. John Ritter and Blake Edwards together created this wonderful and perfect film.
Only John Ritter could be lovin' on his stylist while his girlfriend busts him and then wifey shows up. This is brilliant!!!

Anything Blake Edwards touched was Brilliant...
Every other thing, at least. Edwards directed something like 50+ films so there were gonna be some bad ones (Trail of the Pink Panther...) but when he was good, as with this film, he was really good.

RIP John Ritter and Blake Edwards.
So long John. You went too soon.
If you play the movie backwards, a man is married and decided to write a book and live how The Other half of divorced Men live.
forgotten flix podcast
Truth for alcoholic's this movie rich or poor
