I lived about 5 doors away from Marty Wilde in Kidbrooke/Blackheath in the early sixties. I can't remember the exact year but at that time he lived in Eastbrook Road, opposite Hervey's sports field. I was on just on the other side in Wricklemarsh Road. One day I boldly knocked at their house to ask for his autograph and a very nice lady (his partner?) said Marty was "on tour". But she was very kind and gave me a number of signed photos of Marty Wilde.
Enjoyed the interview, Lived across the road from Marty, bottom of Westcombe Hill in Greenwich. Used to go to Granada in Greenwich, for talent contests remember Marty & Houndogs winning a contest there.( The act that got the loudest applause used to win and get to make a record). Hope the new album goes well,
Marty's Album is Well overdue ...his voice is still so good he should be releasing albums every couple of yrs ...
Great interview. Marty Wilde is a legend

I'm very jealous you got to interview some of my heroes...especially Cliff & Marty ...
