This track is soooo old, that Perfecto (Oakenfold's label) released two songs that have huge resemblance to this track, and people were buying and embracing the new releases because they don't remember of this one at all.

Nothing beats the original version. There’s been many different versions of this, including one I done myself in 2005 (sadly lost and gone forever & Jes asked me to send it her as a possible track for a remixes CD), but this one is probably the best remix of this track ever made.

I agree that most classic trance is best without vocals but certain iconic tracks definitely need it to give that extra emotional effect.
Had this on repeat as I spent over an hour walking along Perissa Beach on Santorini in the Summer of 2023 during a Med- Cruise. The views were amazing, the weather was amazing, the ouzo was amazing. Going back in 2025 just to sit on a black sand beach for a week or two .. as Wim Roelants said to me at a guitar show years ago.... 'Peace and Love'
