You do not need to reroll to get them to respawn. Just walk out of the area and return and the wisps will respawn.
When you say walk out of the area, do you mean deload it? Or literally just walk a couple tiles over, and go back?
you do, i spent like 4 hours yesterday looking lol they eventually do despawn and you need to reroll
This is accurate. Here's what I did: If you find a tile with wisps in it, kill them all and remember where they spawned. Then find the nearest door that takes you to another area, such as into a side dungeon. Go through the door and then immediately back into the area you came from with the wisps. All of them should have respawned in the same areas of that tile that they were just a second ago. You can repeat this multiple times but not indefinitely as the Blood Moon will eventually disappear. I farmed wisps like this multiple times so I can confirm this works. Anyone saying you need to re-roll your world is wrong.

I'm very close to being done with this world and I've only gotten 4. They do not respawn. Not in my game anyway.

For what it's worth, I think there is time component to the blood moon event, I do not know if this is based on real life time or in game time. I like to explore maps before doing the dungeons so I ran out of Faithless Thicket (not blood moon) to grab a Checkpoint before continuing my search. I did not sit at the red stone, I immediately turned around after loading the dungeon and found a Blood Moon in Faithless thicket. Knowing that I needed the essences, I just ran back and forth between two dungeon doors to respawn the wisps without touching either checkpoint. After about 6 or 7 runs, the Blood moon was gone. During this entire time from before the blood moon spawned to when the blood moon ended, not a single checkpoint was touched, only door zoning. I wish I had my recording software up for proof, but sadly this will have to be a word of mouth share of information and I wanted to capitalize on every moment I could get to get as many essences as possible. I apologize for my selfishness but hope this info helps someone somewhere.
What is the name of the area I need to travel to to start all this?
I found the blood moon in the Faithless thicket, but I've seen it in several of the open maps. Keep an eye on the sky, if there is a red glow on the trees and a red moon, you've got it.@@martyluterman965
YO, Tip for bloodmoon essence: you can get some from the trapdoor in the cathedral if a bloodmoon is present when you open the door to the 2 chests.
The soul link ring heals you for 5% of the damage dealt by any summons. The tentacles mod, dog, and summoner summons all just heal up all the damage I take.
Do you know if the little madness eye mod counts as a summon?
@@Roxas9355 That I don't know. I never run it because I found another summon/mod. The fairy familiar mod will summon a raven that attacks enemies and follows you. You have to use dream catcher weapon on the huntress while she is sleeping.
Dog, handler skill?
I believe the engineer turret also counts as a summon so go crazy with that 😂

Tiles, Areas. Like Faithless hollow to Cathedral of Omens or Red Throne.
Basically, it's the map area.

If I'm correct, Faithless Hollow, Red Throne, and other extremely large open areas that lead into subareas.

Use yellow fog gates to reset blood essence spawns. Walk out, and back in, they all respawn

Can confirm that traveling between tile sets can spawn the bloodmoon. Just keep doing it is RNG.

You can, I saw a video where handler is secondary class and can still have the dog😊
Dog also seems to counts as "summon". I have a Ring that gives me 5% HP back for the DMG dealt by my summons. I also get HP back when the dog attacks.
Ya I did summoner/handler and the flying summons crit a lot of their hits. And the final summon the, the big guy, he hits for 500+ noncrits. The summons make the dog look weak to be honest. But the dog can res me so I don't care. 😂

Also you can get more than two bloodmoons a tile set I’ve gotten four to spawn from bouncing back between withering Weald and the far woods 1 in withering and 3 in far woods so far

Hi I’m new to the game and was looking at all the different classes for my first play through to make a build I’d like. Is the world with the summoner archetype guaranteed to have an alter in it and if not is there a way to tell right away?
I lucked out, first visit I had bloodmoon and got enough for class and a couple of items to support it when I start using it
I chose the handler class and I think making a Summoner/handler class will make a potent build for sure.. will try this out..

I made it and it is so overpowered. The handler itself gives good heals and the summoner can do it all. It is a great combo on the easier difficulties. The pets take down everything on veteran and below. I do have to heal them though. I haven't tried it out on nightmare.
Yep and I chose that heal mod in the beginning with the handler. I'm a solo tank and a great teammate. Trying to get the summoner now

Ive been activating the Blood moon and traveling those areas multiple times an so far i haven’t encountered any blood moon essence i gave up after a couple hours.

I was able to jes bounce back and forth between a” forest tile “ Mine was the dappled groove I believe till I got a blood moon then I could go back out and in the door and the wisps would respawn
Back up your saves if you have PC. I've already had the game totally wipe my progress because on exiting the profile was corrupted and the game refused to allow any kind of play till the corrupted profile was deleted. Love the game but there is nothing worse than putting in days of progress to have it vanish in an instant.

I'm still on the first world and have found two weapons, one mod for a random spawning boss and a mutation. I've also bought about 3 guns. This game is absolutely fucking massive compared to the first and I love it. I'd feel like I was speed running at times during the first one with how quick I could get through a world even with a new character.
walking back and forth through the yellow gate got the blood moon to spawn for me.
U can jump back and forth from ward 13 to the world and get blood moon to start
Can you jump between Yaesha and ward 13 as well to trigger?
Unlocked a secret by accident somehow...got an amulet that heals me for 3% of my damage dealt and while at full healt gain a 20% damage buff.

It works I just walk back an forth through the gate in the beginning of the far woods blood moon spawns after you do it so many times but it random lol
So does this mean if I started the game in Losomn, and then the second world after that by default the second world is always the Labrynth, so I won't actualy get to this magical wonderful world I want to explore and need in order to become a summoner until I'm probably like a hundred hours into the game? lovely.

i spawn blood moon but no wisps ever spawns. it only worked for me after doing adventure mode once and every time i spawn bloodmoon, they do not spawn.
Since im doing mid with medic i might unlock this and switch start over even
@LegacyGamingUS Random question but what location is connected to your Nameless Nest area? I'm missing this area and your map is exactly the same as mine except I have The Chimney instead of Endiara's end. I'm assuming Nameless Nest is the location that has a question mark in the same spot on the map for me but can't find the path.
Maps, even if they look the same, are still completely randomized layout wise.
so far the handler class got me going forward because npc's focus more on the dog and i have a healing mod attach to the weapon,i try gunslinger and healer in normal level and got kill lol i wish the healer bar and armor was similar to Tom Clancy's the division 2 because every enemy does chunks of damage and it needs that type of mechanism lol
The challanger makes the game easy. I played for 4 hours and only died once on purpose

Man I messed up I started in Yaysha and I eventually felt like I was stuck ND I re-rolled my campaign world now I can't find the world anymore. And now on a different planet trying to beat that world.
Spawned it aftrer 10-20 reloads. Ran across the whole location. 0 wisps. The moon is red. I don't know why there are none and what to do.
Bro what are the chances for the blood moon I have bin playing in the location for hours and only one showed up I rerold my work multiple times but I’m just not getting any
If you on ps5 just click join game and you should see your friend and the world they in and join them it worked that way for me

Quick tip/hunt: you get 3 blood moon essence for completing the Sun/Moon/Ravenger/Doe puzzle as well.
For what’s it’s worth I found most wisp in the Faithless Thicket.
it also has to be a bloodmoon when you do, and it's in the room with 2 chests.
blood bond is super but i keep finding life steal i got siphoner to level six now 1.8% life steal grants base damage as life steal 1.8%. and a amulet called full moon circlet. range damage lifesteals 3% base damage dealt at full heal, ranged damaged is increase by 20% im a gunslinger healer ... lol im a vampire 🧛
great guide i was able to farm the essence real quick so some tips
1. Find Faithless thicket and get the warpstone
2. i was able to force a blood moon spawn buy just warping from ward 13 to Faithless thicket in like 4-5 trys when u spawn in faithless just run forward a little bit and see if u see the flying purple orbs if u dont just warp to ward 13 and back
3. When they do spawn kill them and just zone out of the area and back in they will respawn DO NOT WARP OUT also eventaully after a few zone ins the blood moon might despawn so u will have to repeat step 2
4. Enjoy the game
5. Pet the dog

when you were tping back from ward 13 to faithless thicket were you just clicking last checkpoint or actually going into yaesha and faithless thicket?
I’ve done it like 10 times with no luck. Now I’m new to remnant and this seems right up it’s alley but I’m wondering if I’m doing it right?

I'm debating combining Summoner and Handler for the mixed theme, or if I should go Gunslinger/Handler for the guns supported by good dogs.

Any idea for a good solo class for damage and healing? I'm new to this game never played a remnant game before so I know nothing about anything with this game. I do love dps and classes around gunplay I also don't like super squishy classes. Any info would be great?
Use handler, your dog can help youb by getting their attention and heal you.

bruh, looking at your map @2:40 and I have different names than yours lol...The Greart Bole is Raveger's Lair, red Throne is The Lament, The Far woods is Cathedral of Omens and so on. Do I get the new names/areas by rerolling or in adventure mod?
Yeah that's how the game works. There are numerous different tilesets in the game, all with unique loot, quests, stories, etc. Pretty much everyone will have a unique experience every time they playthrough content in both story and adventure mode.
A rando joined me as I spawned a blood moon, left me for dead after he aggrod a bunch of ads, and now I can't get another to spawn.

when you have the buff on, go to your character screen. In the top left you can see the buffs and a description of what they do.

I play as a Summoner you can get rings of mod power in Labyrinth

Don't think there is an Alchemist class
For alchemist on the losom world in the slums, there will be some drain gates (down low) with bars missing. Walk up to it and get pulled in, then fight the beast in the arena. I got it yesterday.

@@Yusei255 alchemist is another support class, can throw AOE team buffs like armor healing or dps, the prime perk is that they can have another concoction active

So i have small question - what are "tiles"? I see a lot of people talk about those, is it a locations inside of a world? Like for example i have Koara Kuri Nest and Forbidden Grove locations. Those called tiles? And i just need to teleport between those every 5 minutes or so?
You got it right, tiles are just separate areas in a world.

Strange, I got the book at altar, took it back to Wally and got the summer book thing, but I don't see how to get the summoner. Doesn't show up in character, do I need to do something else? I am confused.

Your first world clear adds it to be replayed in adventure mode, thus unlocking it.
Yep, you need to fully clear a world in campaign to unlock it in adventure mode.

The bit of info about the wisps not respawning and needing to reroll your campaign isn't 100% correct. The blood moon can reoccur during the same campaign and wisps will respawn. You can also leave the zone through a door and come back during a blood moon and the wisps will respawn indefinitely until the blood moon event ends.
There could a limited number of times a blood moon can occur during the campaign and it could even be a different number for everyone. Who knows. I've accumulated over 40 of the orbs so far in my playthrough.
How do you know when it's a bloodmoon?
Red icom, shiny red moon, and the first npc u meet will tell u about it

@@herofx2881 I’m pretty sure the event is on a timer. So, if you leave the zone after that time expires, it ends. Otherwise, it will continue.
Ok can someone explain to me how to even unlock a second archetype? Like I only have one and I’m on my 3rd world. When do I get it? I’ve tried looking it up but I’m not understanding what I’m suppose to do. I need someone to dumb it down for me.
You need to buy the base engrams material from either a vendor or find it via a specific secret. You then take the engrams to Wallace to convert into an archetype engram. Then you just equip it.

I got a bloodmoon and went back and forth from Kaeula’s rest to the expanding glade about 5 times and got 51 wisps in one run, hope this helps.

Sadly a bunch of bosses are not summon friendly or Dog friendly. They are unable to even attack the floating bosses.
But often instead soak up aggro from adds allowing u to dps boss more

Do not need to reroll. Just warp back to ward 13 and back and forth. Wait until another Blood Moon. It will eventually spawn. You do not need to reroll
I have a locked door in front of my blood moon altar idk how to get it open. Yes I went through every door in that area and I explored everywhere 🤦🏽 Even when it’s not a blood moon the altar is still there with the locked door is my game glitched?
Nope, you have some dungeon you need to complete to get on the other side of that door area
I had to beat a second area to get into that location behind the door.
okay so my blood moon altar is locked behind a door, and I can't seem to find a way to unlock it, anyone else have this issue or at least know how to solve it? I have the forbidden woods altar by the way.
It's probably a door that you come to from the other side by going through a dungeon. When it doubt, complete everything on the map.
@@LegacyGamingUS turns out I needed to go into the side area and beat the boss there in order to unlock the door that goes into the altar area

How U can save this game!?
I've figured it out it spawns every 2 hours - next spawn will be at 12:15pm UK time. It lasts 20 mins so just kill few near a door then exit door and reenter zone again without touching any crystals etc

Also, killing the doe makes blood moons spawn more frequently, supposedly. Does that make it go once every hour on the dot for 20 minutes?

So i checked the UK time, it is 8:16 right now, judgung by your logic it must be blood moon... but it is not...
or u can do what i did and accidentally fall of the map and find out they respawn when u die
I think the whole rng thing does go against you on this. Some of this is way too reliant on chance than skill.

It gives you the archetype. You can freely change your archetypes in either slot as long as you've unlocked them on your character.
Once you unlock any archetype you can also start a new game with that unlocked archetype

Go around. Thru a dungeon.
Or you can be me cleared yaesha 3 times zero blood moon essence only seen 1 blood moon and zero wisps spawned
So I get the blood moon, see to s of wisps, but I can't even damage them to kill the ffs?!?!. Game must be bugged out as nothing is damaging them!!
Loading back into the same map works to make them spawn takes about 10-15
