I must really be getting old. Looked quickly at the the flight description for this video and wondered why Westjet was flying to Spokane, WA......then I looked again and realized he was going to Edmonton. YEG and GEG confused me. Nice video.
Kelowna has become the new hot spot for filming Lifetime thriller movies. A number of the recent movies that they aired were filmed there. It's probably cheaper than filming them in Vancouver. Anyhow, good views taking off. Good view of the Selkirks. You may have gone over Glacier National Park, the BC one, not the Montana one. You may have gone over Rogers Pass. Looks like you went over the northern part of Banff NP, probably near the Columbia Icefield. And... it looks like you want over Hope Valley where When Calls The Heart is supposed to take place. They're in year 1921 now and next season, I'm hoping the women on the show will wear flapper attire. They can't stay in the Victorian Frontier days forever. And... good views of the Alberta prairie. Yes, I've been to YEG, was there back in 1975. Anyhow, I'll rest up from the 1 hour jet lag by watching today's General Hospital. Jeez, Ava Jerome is really determined to push Sonny over the edge by sabotaging his medication.
Thank you for filming this. Yesterday on the day you posted this, the 17th of July, I was flying this exact type from YYC to SEA and my enemies won because my phone overheated and shutdown on both the takeoff and the landing ☹

I've often wondered why Canadian airport codes often start with the letter Y. Gemini gave me this answer: Weather stations and radio signals: Back in the day, the letter "Y" was often used to indicate that an airport had a weather station. As most Canadian airports had these facilities, they ended up with airport codes starting with "Y". 😃

Well, without going back and skimming the footage I won’t be able to tell you exactly where they are, but I definitely filmed. I’ve never not included the safety instructions and I would’ve remembered if I didn’t for some reason. I’ll have to see if I can find them.
@@sla31 Hi I was looking at Google Maps on the flight path and saw Revelstoke and Glacier National Park were on the route. I was just commenting on that. I know you never film the safety briefing, I was adding the "Funny" of the famous WJ attendant clip we've all seen.
