Nicki really gave all her emotions on Pinkprint and 90% of the world didn't care and ignored it. Then, in 2017 & 18, blogs had the nerve to say Nicki doesn't ever make emotional/mature music. Hence why Nicki went off on that blogger, Wanna, cause that particular woman has been talking down on Nicki for years before Nicki went in on her. Pinkprint was a whole mature, emotional project that got slept on.

Well, its not Nicki's fault people don't listen to the full album. Every album had its emotional & mature songs, but people only paid attention to the mainstream singles, like Super Bass, Starships, Anaconda, Barbie Dreams, Chun-Li, etc. Nobody paid attention to Pills N Potions, Save Me, The Crying Game, Catch Me, I Lied, Autobiography, Fire Burns, All Things Go, Buy A Heart, Grand Piano, Regret In Your Tears, Bed Of Lies, Champion, Fly, Freedom, Here I Am, Right Thru Me, Still I Rise, Sweetest Girl, Marilyn Monroe, Your Love, Encore, Can Anybody Hear Me, Run & Hide, Nip Tuck, Come See About Me & The Night Is Still Young from Pink Friday, Roman Reloaded, Pinkprint & Queen. Each album had a plethora of mature content that got slept on.
She could try introducing her deep and mature lyrics into her features. All she raps about in those is the size of her posterior, her being the queen, her copious vaginal fluids, etc.
I don’t think enough people understand how much abuse Onika has been through during her life, as a child she had to endure abuse from her parents (her father attempting to murder her mother by burning their family house down) and even in the relationships she’s had there has been elements of abuse from safaree&meek etc.. yet she still remains a strong woman despite everything she has and continues to go through.
And her brother is an abuser

When you wanna discuss an album where she truly got robbed from her GRAMMY!!! This is my favorite Nicki project, she’s so vulnerable and really lets us in on the toxicity of her relationships. I mean the album is revolutionary in her discography. The vocals, production, features I just 😩😩

This album went up against 'TPAB' & 'Forest Hill Drive' while 'Pink Friday' had to face 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' and 'Watch the Throne'. I mention those albums because to my understanding, those are albums that received insane critical and fan acclaim and are still highly regarded in the American hip-hop communities and showed up in a lot of the decade end lists that came out. The grammy often get it wrong, but in those years I feel like they got it right.
If Nicki ever makes an album of this quality again or really great singles, I'm still hoping she can get the grammys she so rightly deserves.

GRAND PIANO. Just give it another listen again. A lot of people thought her live performance of it was fantastic. Just check it out, a lot of singing teachers on youtube reacted to it and were saying how her vocals sounded super good.

She then talks about her little brother and her aborted baby. She says her cousin and the baby is her brother’s guardian angels looking over him. She talks her former pill addiction and how she almost died on the crying games. so this is her most personal project to date

Pinkprint is the longest charting female rap album in billboard 200 album chart. The Pinkprint has hits like anaconda which peaked at no.2 on billboard hot 100 and broke UA-cam 24hrs record that was held by Miley Cyrus. Pinkprint is one of the best rap album in previous decade and it's behind Pink Friday and Roman Reloaded as the best selling album by a female rapper. I can go on and on but the thing is, people slept on the lyrics not the album. I know that Pink Friday was more listened to but Pinkprint is not underrated at all.

I think you should react to the deluxe edition tracks because they're actually sm better than a few songs on the standard edition imo. Also maybe you could react to her albums and mixtapes going backwards? Like next react to Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (then The Re-Up extra tracks), Pink Friday deluxe, Beam Me Up Scotty, Sucka Free, then Playtime Is Over.

I listened to this album in full when I was 16 (I’m 20 turning 21 soon) and it’s my favourite album Nicki has dropped. I then listened to it again when I got dumped at 18 and it changed my whole perspective. Especially grand piano. Being a piano player and getting dumped, it spoke to me differently from when I first listened to it. Amazing piece of work because it shows a sad side as well as a bad b*tch side. Forever my favourite
