But being friends with some of the DJ's and initially thinking Abilities won, the majority all told me it was obvious that Precyse won. Abilities put on a better "show", but Precyse had the more technical skill. Turntabilism was at a such a HIGH LEVEL at that point, a regular hip-hop crowd can't pick out everything that is being done on the decks. That's why there are judges. No one got "robbed". Both are dope.
When 5:15 takes place, that had to be the decisive factor. Abilities had made it obvious that he had to recover from the needle skips within his scratch routine.

Abilities won by a land slide, DJing is made to seem so taboo and irrelevant now, that's the real loss.
