If Rochelle was exiled, more than likely nobody else would have died. (Yes they probably would leave Bill and Nick but not without abandoning them and trying to save them)
DAMMM MAN what a TWIST!!! amazing stuff Lonewolf one of the best SFM series ever without a doubt, Dunno what some people are complaining about i LOVED the ending its dark and its twisted (the kinda style i enjoy in these types of things x3) and it explains why its called "WHITE LIE". Zoey told Nick the Angels of Death were the ones who killed everyone. While it was actually the work of Zoey being overprotective of her original team. In the end she ended up shooting Coach so that he wouldn't have to suffer the fact his daughter killed so many people. She lied to Nick so that Nick wouldn't be suffering mentally too.

White Lie is a masterpiece. Hands down, It has everything that amazing story needs, perfect story, characters that we already love, amazing plot twist, showing how people can turn from human to monster and LOTS of easter eggs. But also it has some bad things like what happened to Nick and Bill? Last time we saw them they were surrounded by Hunters and we.. never knew how they got out there. Same goes out for group when in Passing (2nd chapter) how did they lost taht tank and got to Sacrifice Finale. I knwo this story is about Zoe but those things I want to know. After all its story that cant be better in any way and it will be a masterpeice that will make you cry when someone dies and also when plots reveals you become wordless. But I have bad news.... There wotn be White Lie 2: Zoey kill's Nick becouse.... we ran out of characters. He used peoples from 2+ games (PAYDAY 2 gang is referance big AF) and every character from L4D saga. Hell even old Francis. Unless creator comes with something brilliant, there wont be any White Lie. And that makes me sad. I want continue, i want to know what happens next. She decided to kill Louis's group to protect her friends after a few deaths, but when they find out the truth she kills them, except the soldier Zoey. Then she lies in Nick's face so she couldn't face the consequences of her actions. I'm pissed right now.

So, Zoey protected her friends by killing them? I could understand her killing Rochelle, since she agreed to the plan of leaving Ellis behind, but Zoey absolutely knew the two Francis' and Louis disagreed to that plan, so why would she kill them? It was finished.... the main series and the shorts ( cut content and fillers between main events of the series that we never got in the final product) were both finished. I loved playing l4d with my friends back then, it's just so sad that we all had to go our separate ways and now I'm the only one left in our neighborhood... its sad, yes, but that's just life you know... things come and go and we all just have to accept it and move on in life cherishing the memories we made with the people we love...

I think the creator is running out of voice line for the character or something like that. But season 2 will be something i might look forward to. Imagine Ellie and Zoey cross each other path again. I bet by that time Ellie already knew about her secret and she wants her revenge.

If I were her or anybody else in the group, I would've immediately shot her or killed her with a katana (because that's my favorite melee weapon). She was a threat to the group and almost got Nick and Bill killed and like Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead or Ragnar Lothbrok from Vikings, I'd eliminate all threats to those closest to me or my group.
Wow, this was... Wow. I don't think I saw that one coming. Throughout the series, I feel that Zoey was portrayed as a "flawless" protagonist and easily likeable. I figured the trope would stay through all the episodes but, I'm very happy it didn't. Excellent twist. Everything wraps up, one way or another. If you lived in the United States, you would've made a great Walking Dead writer. I applaud you and your series, Wolf. Best SFM series I have EVER seen. To be honest, this was probably also the best series I've seen on youtube. I was connected to the characters and always wanted to see more. That said, I'm a little sad it's over. Time to figure out what to do with my life, lol. While generally everything worked out, though, I feel that one finer detail went a little unexplained. One of those things I thunk you should make a short about. When Bill and Nick were separated from the main group, how did they make it out? Did they have help from Wade and Ellie? Seems like they were physically and figuratively backed into a corner. And after that, how were they separated? My personal guess is that since Bill wanted to escape to the Florida Keys while Nick wanted to go to New Orleans with everyone else, they went their separated ways. Somehow, Nick ended up with the military (which I can see how that happened, being that he was deliberately heading towards New Orleans) and Bill, maybe a little more confusedly, ended up with the Angels of Death. Regardless, a short on how that happened would be awesome, if you're not already planning on it. I remember commenting on Episode 3, part one, asking why the Angels of Death didn't kill Bill. Seeing that it was Zoey who was behind all the killings, I can see that now, perhaps the Angels of Death (particularly Wade, Ellie, and Keith) were trying to convince Bill that Zoey wasn't who she seemed to be, but Bill, still feeling loyalty to that group or something of the sort, decided to go back and help them. Obviously, Wade, Keith, and Ellie followed him (for safe measures, I guess?) He ended up getting killed by the Hunter in the Alex Mercer outfit, presumably, and Keith puts him out of his misery. That said, I think I have an idea for the whole Dead Smoker thing. Numerous times throughout the series, Smokers haven't just attacked survivors, but sometimes just "watched them", and someone from the Angels of Death following up with an appearance. Since they Angels of Death have been shown to be able to tame Special Infected, I think that they use Smokers as Scouts. If you think about it, they are easy to track because they give off puffs of smoke, and often travel on rooftop. So you usually wouldn't be able to see one if you weren't deliberately looking for it. Makes sense, yeah? So I feel like the Smoker was one of Keith's scouts.

At first, the hunter helping zoey escape seems noble, especially seeing how he has been probably the most antagonistic character until the truth was shown. On hindsight, it could instead be the hunter recognising zoey as a murderer like him, and respects her as a result. In the end, still its a great series. Well done Lonewolf. This fills the hole that the early cancellation of Cult of Personality left in my heart. (My respects to Coach, Ellis, Soldier, Bill, Chopper Pilot, Louis, Francis brothers, Lewis and all the Angels of Death members. I wish the best for the rest(even the Hunter))
The Hunter that killed Ellis and the Hunter that helped Zoey escape were two different hunters. The first hunter was burned alive, though still literally alive. The second hunter was the hunter from the wedding who was caged by the Angels of Death.

LoneWolf. I have to be honest... this series is AMAZING. The sheer fact that you can tell a different story from L4D with just Voice Clips is incredible on it's own, but the story is AMAZING. I sat around all summer waiting for Episode 3, and recently I found out you'd made it. I loved the ending, and I'd never of suspected it. This is honestly my favorite SFM on UA-cam, and I can see the sheer amount of work that went into this. This is the best Christmas present I could ask for.
I remember trying to watch this about two different times but lost interest after about two thirds into the first episode. There's something honestly a bit charming about this series. A lot of fanfiction-y elements to it, Zoey having heterochromia, having characters like Jacket and Ellie inserted in, the two Francis', the tamed infected, ect. Younger me would have hated it. But now, considering how much times have changed since this series was first released and ended, I can't help but be reminded of a much simpler time before all the crazy shit and cultural shift over the past few years happened. There's a sense of innocence and general good natured fun in this sort of content. And I was caught off guard by the twist. It was really well set up all things considered. Seeing Coach express being betrayed by Zoey was definitely the highlight of this entire series. So props to you.

Remember that base from the part 2a? They tamed infected there. I think thats where the hunter came from. I think that the people in that base ordered the hunter i think thats my opinion
Anyone notice that since Ellis' death, Zoey changed her jacket from red to black. I feel like she's mourning for Ellis or that outfit become darker like her mind. Ellis was like a little good thing, a small candle to bright Zoey's hope in this dark apocalypse. But when Louis's team came, that light went out. And ever since, her teamate die one by one. I think Zoey must been broken while seeing her lights started to faded. She made her choices, to protect Coach and the soldier, she tried to get rid of Louis's team. But in the end, she left Coach behind, like she left behind the last part of her soul. What a tragedy! This is the most emotional SFM.
After 7 years i doubt there will be another season but this was very well done. Could have the soilders group that knew what zoey had done vs zoey and nicks new group.
How left 4 dead 2 would've told this story. once Zoe got back she went towards the closest thing she can call home then she would've heard noise from the toilet when she opened it everybody was alive in there and freshly re-spawned the end :3

I think the creator is running out of voice line for the character or something like that. But season 2 will be something i might look forward to. Imagine Ellie and Zoey cross each other path again. I bet by that time Ellie already knew about her secret and she wants her revenge.

The voices are part of the actual game. A lot of them cannot be heard in game, but still in the game files and the SFM animators extract them from there and use them in their movies.

If I were her or anybody else in the group, I would've immediately shot her or killed her with a katana (because that's my favorite melee weapon). She was a threat to the group and almost got Nick and Bill killed and like Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead or Ragnar Lothbrok from Vikings, I'd eliminate all threats to those closest to me or my group.
The ending is a bit a anticlimactic. I feel like Zoey's motive is underwhelming. My only regret is not having watched this sfm years ago. Good job.

Wow, this was... Wow. I don't think I saw that one coming. Throughout the series, I feel that Zoey was portrayed as a "flawless" protagonist and easily likeable. I figured the trope would stay through all the episodes but, I'm very happy it didn't. Excellent twist. Everything wraps up, one way or another. If you lived in the United States, you would've made a great Walking Dead writer. I applaud you and your series, Wolf. Best SFM series I have EVER seen. To be honest, this was probably also the best series I've seen on youtube. I was connected to the characters and always wanted to see more. That said, I'm a little sad it's over. Time to figure out what to do with my life, lol.
While generally everything worked out, though, I feel that one finer detail went a little unexplained. One of those things I thunk you should make a short about. When Bill and Nick were separated from the main group, how did they make it out? Did they have help from Wade and Ellie? Seems like they were physically and figuratively backed into a corner. And after that, how were they separated? My personal guess is that since Bill wanted to escape to the Florida Keys while Nick wanted to go to New Orleans with everyone else, they went their separated ways. Somehow, Nick ended up with the military (which I can see how that happened, being that he was deliberately heading towards New Orleans) and Bill, maybe a little more confusedly, ended up with the Angels of Death. Regardless, a short on how that happened would be awesome, if you're not already planning on it.
I remember commenting on Episode 3, part one, asking why the Angels of Death didn't kill Bill. Seeing that it was Zoey who was behind all the killings, I can see that now, perhaps the Angels of Death (particularly Wade, Ellie, and Keith) were trying to convince Bill that Zoey wasn't who she seemed to be, but Bill, still feeling loyalty to that group or something of the sort, decided to go back and help them. Obviously, Wade, Keith, and Ellie followed him (for safe measures, I guess?) He ended up getting killed by the Hunter in the Alex Mercer outfit, presumably, and Keith puts him out of his misery.
That said, I think I have an idea for the whole Dead Smoker thing. Numerous times throughout the series, Smokers haven't just attacked survivors, but sometimes just "watched them", and someone from the Angels of Death following up with an appearance. Since they Angels of Death have been shown to be able to tame Special Infected, I think that they use Smokers as Scouts. If you think about it, they are easy to track because they give off puffs of smoke, and often travel on rooftop. So you usually wouldn't be able to see one if you weren't deliberately looking for it. Makes sense, yeah? So I feel like the Smoker was one of Keith's scouts.

At first, the hunter helping zoey escape seems noble, especially seeing how he has been probably the most antagonistic character until the truth was shown. On hindsight, it could instead be the hunter recognising zoey as a murderer like him, and respects her as a result. In the end, still its a great series. Well done Lonewolf. This fills the hole that the early cancellation of Cult of Personality left in my heart.

The Hunter that killed Ellis and the Hunter that helped Zoey escape were two different hunters.
The first hunter was burned alive, though still literally alive. The second hunter was the hunter from the wedding who was caged by the Angels of Death.

LoneWolf. I have to be honest... this series is AMAZING. The sheer fact that you can tell a different story from L4D with just Voice Clips is incredible on it's own, but the story is AMAZING. I sat around all summer waiting for Episode 3, and recently I found out you'd made it. I loved the ending, and I'd never of suspected it. This is honestly my favorite SFM on UA-cam, and I can see the sheer amount of work that went into this. This is the best Christmas present I could ask for.

I remember trying to watch this about two different times but lost interest after about two thirds into the first episode.
There's something honestly a bit charming about this series. A lot of fanfiction-y elements to it, Zoey having heterochromia, having characters like Jacket and Ellie inserted in, the two Francis', the tamed infected, ect. Younger me would have hated it. But now, considering how much times have changed since this series was first released and ended, I can't help but be reminded of a much simpler time before all the crazy shit and cultural shift over the past few years happened. There's a sense of innocence and general good natured fun in this sort of content.
And I was caught off guard by the twist. It was really well set up all things considered. Seeing Coach express being betrayed by Zoey was definitely the highlight of this entire series.
So props to you.

Ellis was like a little good thing, a small candle to bright Zoey's hope in this dark apocalypse. But when Louis's team came, that light went out. And ever since, her teamate die one by one. I think Zoey must been broken while seeing her lights started to faded. She made her choices, to protect Coach and the soldier, she tried to get rid of Louis's team. But in the end, she left Coach behind, like she left behind the last part of her soul. What a tragedy!
