It's nice to see someone carrying Beejies torch since she's unable to continue carrying it herself. if you plan to make both L4D 1 and 2 take the necessary breaks in between to avoid burnouts or stress, Beejie got pushed to her limit with trying to please everyone so please prioritize your own mental wellbeing over this series. I can't wait to see how this turns out!
It's truly sad Beejie wasn't able to finish it though, mental burnout can be a train wreck to yourself. At least people like this can try and extend the saga.

yeah well he basically followed the path that Sacrifice is supposed to be played. You'll hear those voice lines yourself when you play it btw. So of course everything is fit, because Valve just made it entirely and this channel just animated the play of this map
3:04 is so well done. In a piece of dialogue, Zoey tells Bill that she's not ready to give up on everything yet, and I can see her facial expression showing that she's going through internal strife. I like to think that she knows what needs to be done, that there is no hope for the military to take care of them and they need to save themselves, but she still see's good in the world despite the fact they've been Left 4 Dead (pun intended) at every turn. She wants to believe that she can help out others, because that is her personality. She's always been the most caring individual out of the whole group, showing the most concern and worry to her comrades (hell, family at this point) when they're hurt, even while being the youngest. The dialogue in the Sacrifice was so well done and it's still a main reason why I still play and enjoy l4d to this day after all these years. Zoey's struggling with an internal conflict between the survival of her group to the survival of the world that remains. Character development at it's finest. Glad to also see an SFM animation that's fluid and not too choppy. Looking forward to what comes next, and I hope you enjoy making these as much as we love watching and analyzing them.

She didn't take his place, she just adopted his mindset. Besides, she's what? 19? I don't see how she could be fit to lead the group given how she displayed no leadership skills throughout the campaigns (and you know, her filename is "teen angst")

In the Passing, Louis shown the most leadership capabilities, while Zoey felt Distant and short, Francis... well if he acts like he is to other survivor groups, i won't be surprised that they develop hostility. Even if they make it to their 'island Paradise' and avoid a 'Dawn of the Dead' type of Ending. I doubt Zoey wanna stay around long.
This is like an ABSOLUTELY great job. The dialogue about Bill leaving the Doctor and the two Military Guys from the comics and how she doesn't agree with it just shows off her nature. She CARES for the others, even if they are assholes at their finest.
The two military guys said that they don't want to go with them as they might get infected with the survivors. I am also hoping that they survived off screen and find safe refuge on their own.
At the begining at the animation. I've literally never heard of you, but seing that people have an interest in doing things like this is really exciting. I've been working on a similar project for months except for the entire of the game instead of just 1 or 2 campaigns) and..I don't know it's just really cool to see multiple people's interpretation of the same thing. I'll leave feedback after I finish.

It's been so long since we had a L4D2 animation telling the actual story of each campaign with funny dialogues between the 4 survivors, I am hoping that someone can finish the rest of L4D2's Edit: L4D2 survivors had each one do what he thinks is right yet work together, but here for the original survivors, they all look at Bill as their leader and follow him, this is great and this animation nailed it with the different and unique personality of each one.
i was just got back from watching Beejie Bean L4D2 animation for the nostalgia and feel kinda sad since there were no continuation of the sfm after the passing but stumbled with this great take on Beejie Bean sfm series just make me happy again and for that i want to thank you :) edit : just finished watching the video and i take back about this being a great take on Beejie Bean sfm series.... Because this is clearly an AMAZING take on the series

This is really interesting and a surprise that showed in my feed. I don't think half the players knows what happened before the Sacrifice campaign. A suprise to be sure but a welcome one.
It's tragic to remember Zoey was mad at Bill then he died sacrificing himself for them also at the Passing at L4D2 even if they wanna go with Coach, Ellis, Roch, and Nick, they can't cause they're infected with no signs of turning into zombies. While L4D2 survivors we have no idea if they're the same.
I love that the game is so old and the community continues to keep it alive in the best ways possible. Left 4 dead will always in my heart be the best game I’ve ever played.

Not bad. It's nice that Left 4 Dead itself has so many lines of dialogue for just about every situation that the characters encounter throughout the game, helps make fluid conversation in animations a lot easier. As for the animation itself, I'd suggest trying for a new lighting solution outside of what the game provides on its own. Darker darks and lighter lights make for better lighting. Rim lighting on characters would certainly help emphasize this. In addition, a more liberal use of depth of field could be nice.
If you work with bejjie bean with your animation im sure you'll get an award even this alone can get a saxxy awards or whatever its called, what i like the most about this is the feel,i like the atmosphere fits in with the occasion feels like left 4 dead

The atmosphere and visuals and overall graphics for this one little masterpiece makes this 40 times better. This could honestly be used more for SFM films like these. Perhaps even a little series. Nice job nailing that!
I guess this a prequel to beejie beans dead center, so then we can understand the passing, since in cronological order the sacirfice takes place during dead center
