My name's Troy, I'm bald and I collect watches. So it wasn't long before I added an Orient to the collection. Today I've uploaded my unboxing and first reaction to my Orient Bambino Version 2.

If I were to walk past a shop window and seen this in excess of £300 to £400 I wouldn't be surprised it's beautiful.
Nice though I dont like roman numerals myself ,ps My Orient Curator grey dial has that same dodgy strap lol
For a while I couldn't get past that watchmakers 4, but it grew on me, thanks for the support
Do your research-- its a hardened mineral domed-- polywatch will do nothing for it if it gets scuffed or scratched.
Hi, thanks for pointing that out and you're correct, Polywatch won't do a thing. Not much research went into it as it's an unboxing. I feel that way I can give my true reflections and reactions straight away, it's a great job they did with the crystal and watch overall don't you think ? Thanks for watching 🙂

I have this watch. It's simply beautifully classic. I am a watch collector myself. This watch is definitely value for money.
People often do not understand how much value this watch offers. It beats any DW/MVMT crap right out of the water at the price point. If you get the fit right on the wrist, this will look like a really expensive watch. Hacking/handwinding and a domed crystal for nearly 150 dollars Canadian.
Orient as a brand offer such great value that I know this wont be my last, thank you for commenting

I have that problem, so many watches and such little time, I really can recommend this, if this is Orients dress watch, I'm now wondering wether to add a diver, thanks for the support 👍

It's such a beauty, how are you finding it? Thanks for correcting me on the crystal, I l I've how they have kept the vintage aesthetic to it. I've got some new straps coming for it and will feature them in a future video. Thanks for commenting 👍
@@thebaldwatchcollector I'm not one for dress watches but the cream dial and blue hands really set this one off. Apparently the movement is not that accurate but mines running at about plus 7 seconds a day so I'm happy with that. I've had Orient's for years and also have a mako gen 1 and a mako xl. Hard to beat the quality and they punch way above their price tag.

The Bambino is truly a watch to be admired on UA-cam videos, with macro shots and all. If you buy it anyway, you'll eventually scratch that mineral crystal, and cry inside everytime you look at it.
they look amazing in the flesh, they really do, I wonder if I could swap the crystal out to a domed sapphire?
Im also planning to buy this particular watch. But still cannot decide wheter to get the rose gold number and hands or the silver number and blue hands.
Its gonna be my first automatic lol.
All of my watch are casio and gshock so..
It was actually recommended by my boss to buy a "fancy" Or "formal" Or "semi formal" Watch to go to a more elaborate events.
Also i love the bambino with the roman numerical or the open heart one.
I love the blue hands one. But i think the rose gold one could go well with more outfit.
That rose and white one is too notch, I like the antique styling if the blue and creme on this one.
Good shout to add a formal watch to your collection and which ever you decide you will not be disappointed.

I always notice this one when looking at the Orient range. I prefer this champagne dial to the whiter one.
It's a stunner in the flesh, if you do pick one up I dont think you'll be disappointed.
I love this watch. Put a new dark coffee top leather strap on it and now it's my daily driver. Love it
Been checking out their sun and moon but think the ladies quartz one is only one that will fit my twig wrist!
shame they do not come in at a 38mm would be super hot!

@@thebaldwatchcollector Will do. Orient Star is their high end stuff for $300-$500 USD. Those have Sapphire Crystal and better movement.
Nice watch. But what venue can you wear it to with offices and stuff in lockdown everywhere :) heheheh jk. You can wear it to the supermarket. When things open up again you can wear it to church and work.
I've actually enjoyed earring around the house, it makes me feel a bit dressed up if that makes sense, thanks for commenting
