    I got a tip for everyone out here, while middle of a firefight try to pull back and prone and aim to where he is coming from. 100% of the people who are chasing someone are aiming towards the face of the enemy but if you are prone he cannot see you in his crosshairs and that moment he will get tapped by you. I learned that previous wipe and dang i got a lot of kills like that.

    Totally agree! I kept trying to play this game like Landmark and got destroyed because of it. Just like you mention here slowing down and using map knowledge/other cues wins me more fights than anything.
    Arenas will be the perfect addition for this game just because it'll be the place to get that high octane fps fix, and the base Tarkov for the immersed experience.
    Keep up the awesome videos!

      @@nyuszicsib actually map knowledge is still very important for woods. There's still high traffic areas so if you connect the dots of each one those could be high traffic lanes of where PMCs will run...most people don't spend the time going around and bee line straight to those points.

    methodical defensive is the far superior playstyle, i win almost all my fights playing on position and wait until the enemy makes a mistake. its ridiculous how many kills you can make by just waiting a moment. im only pushing when im 100% sure i can secure the kill. what i saw so far is very similar to what i do, i learned this from the guys that mentored me and im playing like this since day one (started may 2018) and im glad that you found your way out of the "sprinting back to the lobby" style. :) much love

    Being almost 33 years old. There's just no way to compete with the mental reaction time of 16-25 year old players. Ad to that the latency of the servers that deems the aggressor more reaction time. I have to use my map knowledge and stalk. Use my hearing to get the advantage and use cheeky angles to get the jump. CoD players will call it camping, I call it real life strategy. No one would run into a gun fight sprinting at their enemy in real life anyway lol. one of the hardest lessons I've learned and still am learning, is when to not take a fight....
    One last thing. Every time you fire, Change positions. Never stay where you were last seen.

    Repositioning is the greatest tactic you can use in a fight but the biggest concern is being predictable. Your first option for a reposition should not be where you move to because it’s likely where they are expecting (for example when you peak the left side of a box and then peak the right side). Always come up with a second or third option and go with that instead. Always expect that the enemy knows where you’re flanking from.

    This is how exactly i played for 4 years, having a milsim and dayz miitary background make me understand more about this game and my friends hate me for that, my friends want to play this game like Landmark do, running and agressive all the time.
    I tell to teach them the way you do is the best way because makes you more consistent dying much less than full agressive, violence and momentum are the key to be the last one alive, i do literally everything you did in this game and works, works so well, get in a fight with two? No problem pull back to a choke point and let they make a move to get in a bad position, while in a bad position is your time to make the move with violence and accuracy.
    Tarkov is a mind game while retreat, flank and hit hard is a must... other thing i love to do is just fast pace hit and run to relocate, this one is priceless people get so confuse and sometimes even thing there is more one person shooting at them, i have a dude adding me asking me about my squad while i was playing solo LMAO.

    Since my current pc is not fully up to the task of playing tarkov, I usually just avoid fights. if i can, i will avoid gunshots, kind of slinking my way around the map in places where there will be less chance of players or no heard firefights. if this doesn't work I will use voip to my advantage. stating my intentions ie: "hey, i'm a pmc (or scav at times) I have no intention of fighting do you wanna talk this out?" if this doesn't work and it turns into a firefight (judging i don't die within the first nanosecond) I will continue to voice off in voip still proclaiming that i have no intention or need to fight while still defensivly shooting when required. while all this is happening, i will look for ways to back track or circumnavigate my way around that player. all while getting behind cover that is both defensive (protecting or concealing my body from bullets) and offensive (getting a better/ unexpected angle that may give me the chance i need to put the enemy down.) this method and mentality has given me quite a few really cool voip moments that either warmed my heart or made me burst out laughing. or i just got some silent annoyance. when someone doesn't respond to my voip, i usually take it as they are a lost cause and gtfo even more. if i had a better pc, i may still play the same way.

    Move to improve. Rattin is the low effort solution. Ur solution is litteraly for the opponent to make a move. If every1 had this mindset the game would be way stale. Ur gamestyle only Works because in ur clips the opponents makes the push, while ur running away to hold an angle. 75% of the time u will run Into a Guy who plays like u, then u end up both sittin holding angles waiting for either to push. In other Words, another stale fight.

    • @luutuan7162
      @luutuan7162 Рік тому

      a stale fight is always better than push and die. your playstyle "Move to improve" is perfectly fine with other game where revival is constant and you lose nothing but some score, this game however promote survivability than running head on and die. You only have one life, you lose it = game over. This is the mindset of this game, except the part of gameover = you only lose some loot. everygame has it owns playstyle, just like everyone has their own. just because it's a FPS does not mean it has to be played the same way. you push dumb, you die, your fault.

    See I basically play based on audio cue. I listen for everything then I make a defensive call or offensive call depending on audio cue. If they are looting away im gonna push you with a plan. If I know someone has to come my way I'll post up

    Love it when streamers are rediscovering the wheel. :D
    What you are doing is a small part of milsim. Aka military simulation. Aka the use of military tactics and procedures in a simulated environment.
    You dont need to be a crackshot in this game. You dont need to be good at abusing game mechanics, or have metaguns and equipment. All you need is patience, proper maneuvering, and the mindset of survival. (and communication if you got a team)
    Holding angles properly (not just peeking a corner), repositioning, and ambushing people, as well as pushing an advantage with violence of action as most US dudes know it, will help you a ton more than just using metaguns and praying theyll help you win the day.
    Tarkov is and is going to be getting more realistic by the patch. Remember that, and long live the hardcore!
    EDIT: Good effort ramen! :D

      This would be true before the recent wipe. They changed how the peeks work now, so left hand to right hand isn't much of a disadvantage anymore.

    • @RamenStyle
      @RamenStyle  Рік тому

      Screen tearing is in the recording, not on my actual monitor. It's from the fact that I record at 60fps but play at 144fps. I cannot record at 144, hardware limitations

    This is what separates the really good gamers from the pros. Use every cheap trick, every nook and cranny, every overpowered gun/other weapons, glitch spots WHATEVER. I used to play Call of Duty like this, everytimne I went top of scoreboard and you hear people bitch about MP7, noob tube, claymore blah blah blah I would use that strategy again and again and again until people grow wise. Buddy and I were top 100 duos in Modern Warfare 3 for the first month, 1st time MW even HAD trio and duo matches. We stopped playing for a week and lost the spot lol but it was so much fun, gold MP7 with the drum mag just felt like cheating....
