Vlad had a raw and effortless style that you just do not see much in the game in the day of age. His ability to throw players out at home and third from deep right field had people on the edge of their seats for his entire tenure in the league. His raw hitting style, being able to slap a ball out of the dirt, had pitchers of all tiers shaking in their cleats each time they saw him approaching the plate.
Vladimir Guerrero was one my favorite player growing up. He could do it all. He hit for average, power, stole bases, and was an RBI machine. He finished 1 HR shy of having a 40-40 season in 2002, and had a cannon for an arm in RF. On top of being a great bad ball hitter, I liked how he kept it old school and didn't even use batting gloves. If it wasn't for the years he spent in Montreal playing on that cement field, his numbers would look even better. He definitely deserves to be elected into the HOF next year.
RAQUAAHWA TheCodedtestament he was awesome, best bad ball hitter i ever seen. he could rip a single at his eyes or at his toes. dont think he'll make the hof though, unfortunately because he should for sure.
jartstopsign he must of been one of the hardest players to pitch to because even if u don't give him anything to hit he found a way lol i miss watching him play it was ruff as mets fan when he played us but he was one of my favorites he had one of the best arms in baseball also
brooklyn jb I still think my favorite was that time he hit the pitch that hit the dirt 4 feet in front of the plate, turned it into a double and knocked in the runner from first. Find me anyone who has ever done that before and I'll sell you a bridge I've got for a dollar
Guerrero is one of those guys that was born to be a baseball player. It's as if he needed no training or teaching. He in his raw and pure form was a ball player. HOF
Growing up in the 90s a huge Indians fan, Manny was my always my favorite RF. But Vladdy was always 1A. So glad he made the HoF. Manny belongs as well, 'roids or not. Both are two of the greatest RH hitters of all time who could hit any pitch to any part of the ballpark.
Such an awesome baseball player and great human being :) thanks vlad for all the good memories , i am so glad to say that im Dominican just like you !!
...*the most intense, raw, superior, natural talent that I’ve ever witnessed...... ... . ❗️❕ Humility beyond comprehension & now his ⭐️HALL*of*FAME!* career guides his son Vlad*jr.
What a gun.. Ichiro was close, reall close.. Richard Hildalgo had a gun every bit as devastating, especially throwing to 3rd.. But I don’t think there’s anyone better than Vlad throwing home from right field..
Just an animal. I got his autograph on my glove at Spring training '04, before his MVP season with the Angels. That glove is now lost, and I really regret losing it now that he's in the Hall.
My favorite of all of Vlad’s stats: As much as he swung at almost everything, he never struck out 100 times in a season. His 985 career Ks are the seventeenth FEWEST of any hitter whose career began after WWII.
I'm a Mer Fan. I feared this man more then the Braves Trio of SP n Chipper. Best Arm I have ever seen in my life. What a talent, glad you made it to the Hall
Vlad could straight up RAKE. He was a freak at the plate and in the field. I loved watching him play. Glad he’s in the HOF now. Another baseball gem from the Dominican Republic.
TREMENDO, RESPETO A ESTE GRAN JUGADOR DESDE MÉXICO...SIMPLEMENTE NO NECESTABA NADA PARA BOLARLA , NATO Y NO USABA NADA EN SUS MANOS, ESO LO HIZO MAS GRANDE , GUERRERO, GRACIAS POR TU NATO TALENTO 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Watched him double a guy off first on the fly after a deep drive to the right field warning track playing for the Harrisburg Senators in 1996, won't ever forget that play. He also hit 2 HR in the same game.
That 1994 Expos team was really good. Too bad the season got cancelled on them and we didn't see how they'd do in the post season. Also too bad for Vlad that he had to spend so many years toiling on that horrible Montreal carpet/concrete field. His knees and back were never quite right after that.
I remember glad when I was young before I could even appriciate his stats... but just the was his body was like a huge twist and bam the ball would come off the bat with such force was incredible.... his arm was so strong me and my friend kept playing that clip were he was at 3b and he threw it behind the rf wall it was incredible
as a rangers fan I was so glad when he came to rangers in 2010. he always killed the rangers when he was with angels. and that year he had like 90 or 100 rbis. in my opinion should be a hall of famer.
If he didn't play for the Expos in his first couple of years, he'd probably be in. Or maybe because he was a DH for a good chunk. He's a career .318 hitter for Christ's sake.
+Jimmy Boombox I hope one day youtube can give me the viewers an option to her without the music or without but still then I got to go with what gets the views Thanks for the feedback
Can you imagine if Guerrero would have played with Pedro Martinez, Moises Alou, Tim Raines, Andre Dawson, Larry Walker, Andres Galarraga, Rondell White , Cliff Floyd, Tim Wallach, Ivan Calderón, Delino Deshields and Gary Carter. My dream team. My deep respect for the greats: Raines, Dawson and Wallach who never complained playing in Montreal 👍👊
Kind of silly to say he's better than he ever was, but to my understanding, the Angels gave it to Trout because they expected him to be as good as previous Angels to wear 27
that Expos team was dangerous. Too bad they couldn't win a pennant. Vald was a BEAST! People think Puig is the next big thing since Clemente... to me Vlad is still up there.
lol@Pig... I agree. Vlad is my favorite. Dude went to work and crushed. No gloves, no chaw, just 100% baseball. Glad i got to see him play living in SoCal. If this is really Giancarlo Stanton I am a fan & read about you in HS but, why didnt you play football?...lol
As Gio said, "Pig" isn't anywhere near Vlad. Dude has a cannon arm, can hit anywhere in the strike zone. G. Stanton, Vlade, Clemente would crush if I had on my fantasy team...lol.
In my opinion he could of play for at least another 2 or 3 years. He batted .290 with 13 hr's and 60 rbi's in his last year. Also he played over 140 games that year. He could of reached 500 career home runs and 1,500 rbi's. I was disappointed when no one brought him back after the 2011 season. What could of been....
he could have been a good DH for another 3 years. but the blue jays released him in minor league due to some personal problems in DR. then when he tried to come back no body wanted him
+dgarrido745 Yeah he could of defenitely could of been a good DH. He could of been just like what David Ortiz is now. Also, I do remember when Toronto signed him.
+dgarrido745 he asked to be released to go back to the DR to deal with family problems. The same thing happened again later when he could have made a comeback. Ultimately he chose family over baseball which is something you have to respect.
Video makes it seem like vlad only played one season or somthing with the angels. Most of his time was spent in anaheim and his best season were with angels as well.

He had one of the hardest swings ever
I know the only player in MLB today to bat without batting gloves is Wil Myers.
WestCoastFishing Evan Gattis, Kendrys Morales, Matt Carpenter, Stephen Vogt, there are more.
RAQUAAHWA TheCodedtestament he was awesome, best bad ball hitter i ever seen. he could rip a single at his eyes or at his toes. dont think he'll make the hof though, unfortunately because he should for sure.
Josh Lewis he's a lock.
Greatest bad-ball hitter of all time. Not a pitch this guy couldn't hit
jartstopsign he must of been one of the hardest players to pitch to because even if u don't give him anything to hit he found a way lol i miss watching him play it was ruff as mets fan when he played us but he was one of my favorites he had one of the best arms in baseball also

jartstopsign wow i remember that it was crazy this guy can hit a homerun on a pitch out lol
jartstopsign i hope he goes to the hall of fame when he's eligible
brooklyn jb he could probably hit a homerun on a pick off lol
Guerrero is one of those guys that was born to be a baseball player. It's as if he needed no training or teaching. He in his raw and pure form was a ball player. HOF
Played the game the same way he played in his neighborhood, pure skill.
Hes like that Mexican dude drag racing the Nissan Maxima. It's nature haha
One of the greatest, most underrated players ever. First ballot Hall of Famer.
My favorite player growing up. Natural talent and superstar skills aside, a truly humble and sincere human being.
amen
He is very humble I like Pedro
Growing up in the 90s a huge Indians fan, Manny was my always my favorite RF. But Vladdy was always 1A. So glad he made the HoF. Manny belongs as well, 'roids or not. Both are two of the greatest RH hitters of all time who could hit any pitch to any part of the ballpark.

One of the few hitters I’ve ever seen who you could never jam with a high and inside fastball
What a gun.. Ichiro was close, reall close.. Richard Hildalgo had a gun every bit as devastating, especially throwing to 3rd.. But I don’t think there’s anyone better than Vlad throwing home from right field..
If I got a dime every time Eminem "I'm not afraid" was in a highlight reel I'd own UA-cam.
+big2033 I know I used him so much back then
El mejor 🔥
Give us back MLB baseball in Montreal!
Just an animal. I got his autograph on my glove at Spring training '04, before his MVP season with the Angels. That glove is now lost, and I really regret losing it now that he's in the Hall.
He was my favorite player when he was on the Expos.

Gosh I miss the Expos, so many memories with my father bringing me to the games..I was living 30 min from mtl
One of the best of all time.
I'm a Mer Fan. I feared this man more then the Braves Trio of SP n Chipper. Best Arm I have ever seen in my life. What a talent, glad you made it to the Hall
Damn I miss the Expos so much.
oh and what an awful song
Which one?
no longer a depressed raider fan it really is trash tho
Bet
The Bigs 2 ah the memories with my whole legendary arm and glove squad. Vlad had a +2 arm for outfielders Torii Hunter with a +2 glove. #thebigs2
Hes a legend.
That first throw Damn
His bat speed is incredible
Great highlights. So many people complaining about the music but it's a great song. I dunno how well it fits the video but I don't mind it.
So so so happy for him to be inducted in the Hall of Fame! Well deserved. This guy is so humble and play with the game with so much respect.
He's my favorite all time player, I miss him with the Anaheim Angels.
I couldn't watch Angels Baseball after he went to Texas. But I made sure I watched every game he played against the Angels and always routed for Vlad.
the guy is pure talent. great arm has good speed and he was a great hitter. no pitch was safe with the guy the he would chase anything.
@breadandcircuses8127 To be fair i always saw soriano as the worst version of vladdy. Vlady is elite when it comes to contact.
No sabe ingles pero pura legenda 🇩🇴Dom🇩🇴
vlads one of the best baseball player ever

Vlad was a raw talent, one of the best of his era, up there with Mike Piazza, Ken Griffey and Derek Jeter, players who were very hard outs.
Uno de los grande de la Replublica merecido estar en el salon de la fama
One of my favorite players. And looked liked my buddy growing up
That 1994 Expos team was really good. Too bad the season got cancelled on them and we didn't see how they'd do in the post season. Also too bad for Vlad that he had to spend so many years toiling on that horrible Montreal carpet/concrete field. His knees and back were never quite right after that.
hey vlad. pick up the phone. its the hall of fame calling
devon triplett Well now they called
You called it broo
I remember glad when I was young before I could even appriciate his stats... but just the was his body was like a huge twist and bam the ball would come off the bat with such force was incredible.... his arm was so strong me and my friend kept playing that clip were he was at 3b and he threw it behind the rf wall it was incredible
THAT FIRST THROW THOUGH
as a rangers fan I was so glad when he came to rangers in 2010. he always killed the rangers when he was with angels. and that year he had like 90 or 100 rbis. in my opinion should be a hall of famer.
he will be. maybe not the first year but he will make it
+dgarrido745 not really much competition for him , he is in first year .
If he didn't play for the Expos in his first couple of years, he'd probably be in. Or maybe because he was a DH for a good chunk. He's a career .318 hitter for Christ's sake.
Very quiet guy, but in my books this guy was one of the most complete player that ever stepped into the MLB.
The dude had so much power for having virtually no leg lift.
My favorite player ever
take music off sounds stupid
+Jimmy Boombox I hope one day youtube can give me the viewers an option to her without the music or without but still then I got to go with what gets the views Thanks for the feedback
I am in agreement! I had to turn down the Volume on my computer so I could Watch the action. But I enjoyed it But leave out the Shitty Music
It get's more views with the music? While I love this song I can't believe that with the music it's better
@@jameskennedy552 That music sucks and what
AztekWarrior it makes this video worse with the music
He was a great ball player
I love how Vlad never used batters gloves just free-handed the bat
Man was something else he used to piss on his hands lol
Dude was a pleasure to watch...shouldda been a Yankee lol. My brother loved him
My favorite. Glad the Hall of Fame recognized his excellence!!
Eminem played to baseball just doesn't work. Vlad is awesome though
Geoff Nib true
No vlad is more is awesome, He is forever legendary!
Vladdy is forever immoralized! One of the best!
THIS GUY IS A TRU CHAMPION
Can you imagine if Guerrero would have played with Pedro Martinez, Moises Alou, Tim Raines, Andre Dawson, Larry Walker, Andres Galarraga, Rondell White , Cliff Floyd, Tim Wallach, Ivan Calderón, Delino Deshields and Gary Carter. My dream team. My deep respect for the greats: Raines, Dawson and Wallach who never complained playing in Montreal 👍👊
I dislike how Mike Trout wears #27 on the Angels. At least he's good. It would've been disrespect to Vladimir Guerrero.
Geraldo Vicente Trout is better than Guerrero ever was.
Nowthisispodracing I know but still
Kind of silly to say he's better than he ever was, but to my understanding, the Angels gave it to Trout because they expected him to be as good as previous Angels to wear 27
Thank you ^
+Chris Goudy exactly
Arguably one of the most “ talented “ player in the history of the game.
I remember he got a hit off of pitch where the ball bounce before it even go to the plate. He was the best bad ball hitter ever.
second song name please
the next Dominican to make the hall of fame, not on 1st ballot though.
Rocco Salvemini its 2018 and hes in 2018 😀
Hall of Famer now! saw them preparing their plaque.
damn vlady was my favorite player growing up.
Imagine what he could've done if he never destroyed his legs on that turf in Montreal
Jack, I thought that also. It took away so much of his skills after he became 30 plus years old.
Welcome to the Hall of Fame!
that Expos team was dangerous. Too bad they couldn't win a pennant.

You know how bad it hurt seeing him tear the Angels up with Texas?? X(
yup angels my fav team and guerrero my fav player!
His oppo power is all time great
As much of a free swinger as he was, he never struck out more than 100 times in a season.
Whatta arm ....
Esa música da miedo
from now on lets establish these rules for highlight videos:
1. No eminem
2. ABSOLUTELY NO DUBSTEP
good video nonetheless
+AyoStainFTW Yea sorry man when I used to make like one a week I kept using this kinda of crap sorry about that trying to avoid that in new videos
