Hi Guys, Nice review. Not big on DSLR filmmaking ,but yes for stills. The 7d Mark II looks good and has some nice features. I shot the TV series "Bluff" in Calgary with a 5d Mark III. At first, I was hesitant, but loved the way it held up under low light conditions. Images were very clear and holds up in a larger format. The 7d Mark II as well as most of the Canons are great for TV. In terms of filmmaking, after seeing the Nikon's image clarity on your review, I am sold. I would rather get the sharpest image possible and dumb it down in post later or ad a filmic look. I am going to look at more comparisons on here. Keep up the good work!
im looking for a good autofocus and the 7d Mk 2 is very appealing to me especially with the 10 fps cont. shooting, however your analysis on the low picture quality has turned me off a bit. is there a better Nikon alternative in the same price range? I like shooting sports and wildlife with compromising the image quality.
I am watching the first review of yours and I must say this is the most comprehensive, informative and unbiased review of a camera Ive seen till date! Great going.. I agree with you on the IQ part, I recently upgraded from entry level to mid-range and I switched from a Canon 1100d to a Nikon d5300 just because I wasnt happy with the Canon sensors. Please take note Canon :(
I cant understand why you would review a camera like this taking street shot when the majority of buyers will be shooting wildlife. This is a great camera for that far ahead of it's competition. Go out and shoot something real for a change.. As far as sharpening set your camera up properly plus if you do shoot wildlife get a good L lens you don't have to get a 400 f/4 get a 100 - 400 or a 300mm f/4 that will be in the reach of most people. That's just my two cents ! LOL !
Don't you just love it when big youtubers present false information ? Because they don't understand basic things like the fact that Canon and Nikon are processing images differently and that can give the APPEARANCE of one having better dynamic range than the other. Canon is well known for having more contrast in their color profiles than Nikon has and that obviously cuts down on the APPARENT dynamic range contained in the images, because that affects the way you make your exposure in the first place. But if you understand this aspect then you can setup Canon cameras in such ways that you'll get more dynamic range out of the sensor, by simply dialing down the in-camera contrast at the time of the exposure. Then you'll see that in fact Canon and Nikon are neck in neck when it comes to dynamic range. Or for example load the Technicolor Cinestyle color profile on a Canon camera to see the real dynamic range the sensor is capable of and then compare it to any Nikon camera from the same category. Not only that it will match it, but most likely it will also surpass it. It is simply a myth that Nikon sensors have better dynamic range than Canon sensors, myth kept alive and promoted by people who fail to realize that when comparing two different systems you can't be possibly comparing the same exact luminosity/color science behind the raw files. It is simply a software issue, not a real hardware problem.
Aah buddy, you got it so wrong it isn't even funny. When shooting jpg then profiles have an affect, but when you shoot raw it has no affect whatsoever. Now I am no Nikon fanboy, I use canon exclusively and the 7dII is still to this day my go to camera, but it most certainly does have less dynamic range than competing Nikon cameras. No doubt about that.
@@TheXaelem You are dead wrong. Read my comment carefully. When shooting raw you check your histogram or your exposure meter, right ? And then you adjust your exposure settings accordingly, isn't it ? Well, the color profile you are using affects your contrast and because of this it also affects your exposure meter, so it can have an impact even when you are shooting raw. Because you are adjusting your exposure settings based on a color profile. So regardless if you are shooting raw or jpeg, the color profile will have a direct or an indirect impact on your dynamic range. I heard this argument 1000 times, that the color profile has no effect when shooting raw, but it definitely has, through exposure.
I still have my 7DII 4 years on and its been saturated with rain, salt spray, had a rough life in Aussie heat and cold yet still produces the goods. Yes the images can be soft in crap lighting but a little basic editing in lightroom and its fine. Its been a great partner to my 5DIII and as Im hearing there will be no 7D3 I think I will hang onto it. I've seen images in print taken by both the 7DII and the D500 and to be honest cant pick which camera took what, a lot has to do with the photographer and their editing skills, I will say that its a workhorse, not perfect but certainly never lets me down
GREAT REVIEW, DO U EDIT YOUR PHOTOS THAT YOU SHOW US IN YOUR REVIEWS ?, I mean do u edit them before you post them or do you leave them stock for the viewer to see ?
Jordan how did you keep focus when using the Ronin on that first shot? Did you just keep a deep enough aperture (lets say 5.6) and keep a certain distance from Chris?
Chris Winter By the way, thanks Chris. I performed a no-no. I commented well before finishing the whole video...where he mentions the same thing. :) Thanks again.
Appreciate your to-the-point comments on the 7D MKII sensor. If the Sony APS-C 24mp sensor was in it it could be worth $1800. With the Canon sensor-I say $1200 max.
I got the 7D2 because it addressed specific issues I had with the 7D. Although I have used it for night photography, the main reason was for wildlife/bird photography. The almost silent shutter of the 7D2 has afforded me excellent '2nd' photos when the loud 7D shutter would have scared off the subject. As for the CR2/Raw files being soft: Well, with every variety of camera I personally have used I have had to do sharpening. Not a lot, but it seems to be the nature of the digital beast. I like pairing it with my L 100-400, or Sigma 150-500.
I purchased my first DSLR, a Pentax K-30, for a trip to Antarctica. I LOVE this sturdy camera and the wildlife photos I was able to take as a total rookie. However, I've reached its limits (especially when photographing birds) and want to move up. Here is my dilemma: Do I sell my K-30 body and buy a K-3 now (only a few hundred $ out of pocket), keeping my existing lenses _or_ do I save my $ for another year until I can finally buy into Canon's universe of lenses with the 7D Mark II? I guess what I am asking (being the impatient sort ), what features, beyond lens selection and availability, are significantly superior on the Canon 7D Mark II vs the Pentax K-3? Also, does Nikon have something in the pipes for wildlife photographers?
Aside from the more complete system, the 7D MK II has significantly better autofocus tracking and video quality. For my money, they K-3 has better image quality though. Jordan @ TCSTV
***** I don't think Pentax ever made an action camera that competed with something like the Canon 7D series or Nikon D300s. Pentax looks like it's really aiming at the Medium Format field and is looking to make Medium Format photography more affordable.
Thanks for all the comments gang. In the end I caved to my techno-lust, sold my K-30 and added a few hundred for the K-3. Love it! But do wish I had access to all the rental lenses in the Canon/Nikon world. May end up going multi-brand one day.
Wow that is really good 720p video. Oh wait! That is 1080p. With 4K cameras now this just isn't going to cut it for video. The AF looks really good but the final product just isn't there.
Things like the MP count (20.2) is a basic statistic and can be found anywhere, and it doesn't shoot 4K. I don't think there is a traditional DSLR that shoots 4K. Yet.
lightroom 5 is your friend when it comes to this camera, I totally agree with what you called "softness" which I consider out of focus, I have tested mine with a 300mm prime lens from Canon and I have had to take several images of the same subject in order to get a dead on sharp picture (shooting Raw). The landscape pictures I have taken with other canon lens also come out soft...but then again I'm being very critical and pixel diving on a 1:1 and even 1:2 ratio.
Every camera has trade offs. For example, sure the Nikon D3300 has 4 extra megapixels but the 7D Mark ll has double the burst rate and get usable shots until ISO 12800. Maybe.
Brian Michael Yep, i think so. Although they both have very similar Dual Pixel Autofocus systems, the 70d does still have an advantage (for video especially), in that it has a touch screen, allowing you to select exactly where you want it to focus, as well as having a swivelling screen which allows you to use it at different heights. Both great cameras though!
Hello all, I was hoping you could recommend a camera for me. Im planning on shooting mainly wildlife, landscape, macro, and some indoor/night photography. I'll also be taking the camera on vacations , trips and shooting family and friends. Video is not as important to me since I have a GoPro for that, but I would certainly like to be able to shoot with these cameras as well. I can't decide between the d7200, 7d mark ii, and sony a7 ii. Which of the three would you recommend for what Im planning on shooting? If there is a better alternative than the three I listed above please let me know. Keep up the reviews I really enjoy watching them!
I want to start getting into videography and am currently doing some research on what camera I should buy. I want to make car videos which would be composed of a lot of in car perspective shots as well as exterior tracking shots. It would primarily be filmed in daylight and include a lot of wide scenery clips, but I would still like to have a camera with lowlight capability. Any advice on a what camera I should get. It's a bit overwhelming right now as this kind of thing is a bit foreign to me. I'm currently looking at the the A7s and the Canon 60D and 70D. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Saw your 80D review, I decided to check this old one out. I'm wondering which will be best for video work. The 7D Mk II have more focus points, less moire, better lowlight and a clean HDMI out. The 80D have articulating touch screen useful for focusing, sharper video (from comparisons I've seen) and WiFi which enables monitoring and tap focus pulling with app. Really torn between the two.
Somebody doesn't like convenience . So .... A Touchscreen doesn't help you get quick precise manual focus ? And smooth pull focus So .... Wifi doesn't help get your pics on your site or social media quicker ? So .... Turnable screen doesn't help you get shots that were very difficult w/o ?
Personally I think the word professional applies when we are getting professionally paid for a job, which comes at varying levels of requirements. We use tools that are necessary to achieve the requirements, and convenience and practicality are always welcome.
I heard somewhere that the Canon 7D's '1080p' is soft because it's up-scaled internally because of line-skipping. Could it be something similar with the 7Dmk2?
Great job guys! I liked the review. I have one question, is this a good camera for shooting a Wedding? What Canon Camera & Lenses do you guys recommend for shooting/ filming Weddings?
Excellent review. I agree with just about all of it. Question: what hardware are you using to capture your audio. I didnt see any wireless sennheisers or anything so Im thinking an on-camera mic? Its very good audio if it is.
We use Sony UWP-D11 wireless mic systems for audio. You can't see it because it's hidden in a Rode Invisilav under Chris' jacket. Thanks for watching! Jordan @ TCSTV
really a very good review on DSLR. I already using canon 700D and thinking about to upgrade it and it pretty detailed and helpful review. Thank you so much for doing this. And keep up helping.
As usual guys, phenomenal review. On another note, can you guys review the Sony A77II. It seems like a pretty compelling camera from the spec sheet alone, but from what Ive been able to gather it somehow disappoints.
Hi Do you guys recommend this as a allround camera? I have 7d and i like about the bigger body and handling...i do all kind of photographing, from sport to portraits......this is much cheaper than 5d 3.
Jordan brilliant review was looking at purchasing the 7d i have Sony alpha camera at the moment and have no idea on the lenses to buy with the 7d. what lens was used to take the rugby pictures? Pls Help, i will be using to take rugby shots as well as family days out. Cheers Also this looks like the best DSLR for the money?
I love it how the cheapest Nikon APS-C DSLR has a better sensor the most expensive Canon APS-C DSLR. Kudos to Sony, who actually makes Nikon's sensors I suppose
Paul Hojda To be honest though, the advantage in picture IQ of Nikon's cheapest and Canon's most expensive, only apply with pictures taken in great light. Canon cameras will blow the cheap Nikons out of the water when it comes to shooting in low light, such as weddings, events, indoor sports. Still, Canon should take this as a problem that needs to be corrected. It shouldn't be making sensors that can't compete with the Nikon cheapie, especially at the price points they are selling these Canon Cameras.
We ran a single Sony UWP-D11 wireless system into the 7D MK II. To run multiple mics into the 7D MK II you'll need an audio recorder like a Zoom H5, or an XLR adapter like the Beachtek DXA-SLR. Jordan @ TCSTV
Nice review - tempted to get one for its weather sealed capability and autofocus. I can skip a generation though and use my 7d/5d2 combo. Or most likely scenario wait till the price crashes over time before I pick one up half price. I'm not an early adopter but good to hear the people who actually bought it, like it from comments so far.
Hey guys, I'm having a hard time choosing between something else... Nikon or Canon? I already have some cameras in my mind depending on which brand I choose; like the Nikon D610 or D7100 or either this Canon or the Canon 70D would do. So please, could you answer that question (just if there's an actual answer)? Thanks in advance, guys.
Depends if the car is moving or parked. If you want to get a car moving 7d. The speed and autofocus is great. If you are just taking stationary photos of a car the 6d's full frame would be nice
Nicely done Chris & Jordan. But I do hope Chris will test the AF performance by himself into some sports and fast action photography. But of course, I appreciate Todd Korol's opinion about its AF performance. :) Cheers
I must say I disagree with your review. It is true that Nikon cameras have higher dynamic range than Canon cameras. Bear in mind that Nikon buys sensors from Sony, who is also a camera company. Will Sony stop selling sensors to Nikon one day? Who knows? It is a very poor business strategy to buy sensors from another company. Canon makes their own sensor - that to me is a great idea. Sensor, as important as they are for cameras, are not the only thing critical to users though. Most of the sensor shortcomings can be corrected in post. Being able to attain focus quickly and accurately is more important. You cannot fix an out of focus picture in post after all. Note today 90% of the Nikon cameras are made in Thailand or China. Even the D810 is made in Thailand. That again is a short sighted business decision. I own a lot of Canon cameras and lenses and all of them are made in Japan. I especially have a problem with goods made in China. Not that their quality or workmanship is poor, but I would rather not support a communism and totalitarian regime. I used to shoot exclusively Nikon. Until Nikon changes, there is no way I will use another Nikon camera, period.
I agree with you. I used to shoot Nikon until I found out that half their goods are made in parts of the world that are severely under paid. Im sure the cameras are still good quality but they decided to go with profit over ethics. Most large companies around the world do this but Canon has been the best so far from the major camera manufacturers. I cringed when I picked up a 1000 dollar nikkon macro lens and saw the "MADE IN CHINA" stamp. I like my Canon cameras and I find they shoot fine stills. Bottom line is that at this stage of the game, any camera can take a nice still. However, there are millions of terrible photographers out there that want to look at spec sheets rather that get out and shoot with what they have. I will not pretend that I am a fantastic photographer but I understand at this point that if I am unhappy with my shots it is because I did not take a good shot and that it was not a fault of poor camera tech.
VaFreeways imagine if half of Ford Motor Company's vehicles were powered by GM engines. Would it be a wise business strategy to work out such a deal - buying engines from one's competitor? What if GM stopped selling engines to Ford? OK, if Nikon could buy sensors from Sony and put them in their expensive FX cameras, could Canon do the same? If Canon were to use Sony sensors where would Nikon be? Either way, Nikon is not wise to buy sensors from Sony, its direct competitor.
opjoipopikopp[pl[p[ This actually remins me alot of Apple before they went to Intel. They had some shitty cpu's compared to Intel, so they had to make the jump! Canon is almost there. They sensors are, to be honest "shitty" compraed to Sony sensors. They will make the jump just like Apple did with there CPU's. And that's a good thing! No one says it's a poor business strategy for Apple to use Intel CPU's and mainly Samsung parts in there iPhones.
I love the 7DII. It makes great images, not as soft as the reviewer stated, believe me it on par with anything on the market as apsc. It has a snappy auto focus and the body is great. Nothing is as good for the price. It will sell plenty
Hi Guys, When you get a chance to do a compare video please do a Samsung NX1 vs the Canon 7D2. I'm a Canon user but I've never been temped to buy another camera system until I took a look at the specs of the NX1. Head to head... who wins!
I'm no video expert whatsoever. I only shoot stills, but even before the video got to Jordan's part, I instantly was able to see how soft the video was particularly when someone's face was in view, etc. At first I questioned whether the video was in 720p or something was wrong with my eyes. Just like Jordan said, no fine details.
Canon 7D mark II or Nikon D7200? Which one should I buy? I would like to buy a camera for my personal purposes and which has all round ability.. Image quality is something important to me.. Please suggest..

I have been reluctant to buying this camera: I am not sure the fast autofocus will make me forget the softness on the pictures. Might bite the bullet...
How the AF of this camera compares to the nikon d750, I know that is FF. But talking generally about AF through the viewfinder. And the sharpness of the pictures. I have the 70D and I get a lot of soft images even a high shooter speed and single focus.

I would rather get the sharpest image possible and dumb it down in post later or ad a filmic look. I am going to look at more comparisons on here. Keep up the good work!
This is one of the best test videos I've ever seen, the video quality is awesome
im looking for a good autofocus and the 7d Mk 2 is very appealing to me especially with the 10 fps cont. shooting, however your analysis on the low picture quality has turned me off a bit. is there a better Nikon alternative in the same price range? I like shooting sports and wildlife with compromising the image quality.
Best camera reviews on the net. Nice job.
Please take note Canon :(
Would you say the the softness in the image is a Canon trademark?
what kind of wireless mike system were you using to film this documentary on your Canon 7D?
Great review. Please review with the same depth on the Samsung NX-1. On paper, it beats the Canon by a good margin.
So if you took the same walk again, would you prefer to take the 7D mkii 70-200 combination or the GH4 35-100?
Jordan how did you keep focus when using the Ronin on that first shot? Did you just keep a deep enough aperture (lets say 5.6) and keep a certain distance from Chris?
Hey Dave, I think he was using the 7D Mark II's face tracking feature! It works great.
Cheers
Chris
Ah, I forgot it had that feature. Very nice! Chris, I'm subbed to your channel. Keep up the good content man.
Thanks a lot Dave, not a problem. Appreciate the sub!
Have a great day!
Chris Winter
By the way, thanks Chris.
TheCameraStoreTV Thanks Jordan. Great info.
*****
I don't think Pentax ever made an action camera that competed with something like the Canon 7D series or Nikon D300s.
Which other lenses you use for this shooting? It is clear that 70-200mm, but other ones. Thanks.
I bought this camera (pre-ordered) the day it came out! It is amazing!
Now for a 7DmkII vs Sony A77II comparison or shoot-out! Determine once and for all who the real king of APS-C is!
Wow that is really good 720p video. Oh wait! That is 1080p. With 4K cameras now this just isn't going to cut it for video. The AF looks really good but the final product just isn't there.
which camera is better for sports, this canon 7d mark ii or sony a6300 ? please let me know
Does it shoot a nice 4k? What's the mega pixel? Can it take hotos while video recording? It seems to me you guys didn't cover some important factors.
Things like the MP count (20.2) is a basic statistic and can be found anywhere, and it doesn't shoot 4K. I don't think there is a traditional DSLR that shoots 4K. Yet.
mrman17 thanks for the reply.
mrman17 Canon's own 1DC is the only 4K compatible DSLR. For now.
Jordan @ TCSTV
TheCameraStoreTV good to know. thanks for the info.
Thats not major thats noob factors.
lightroom 5 is your friend when it comes to this camera, I totally agree with what you called "softness" which I consider out of focus, I have tested mine with a 300mm prime lens from Canon and I have had to take several images of the same subject in order to get a dead on sharp picture (shooting Raw). The landscape pictures I have taken with other canon lens also come out soft...but then again I'm being very critical and pixel diving on a 1:1 and even 1:2 ratio.
Is it just me, or the videos coming out really good lately?
I have a 7d and 24-105 4 as my main lens should i upgrade to a 7d mark ii or invest in more glass like 70-200 f4 is.
Every camera has trade offs. For example, sure the Nikon D3300 has 4 extra megapixels but the 7D Mark ll has double the burst rate and get usable shots until ISO 12800. Maybe.
a question, in continuous mode allservo in live mode the need to always be with your finger in focus? obrg for the video
Was filmed hand held or used with a cam glider and what kind?
If someone owned a 60D like myself, how would you compare the two as far as a worthy upgrade?
I had the 60D. Good camera, but any newer camera blows that one out of the water in terms of low light.
I have such struggle getting focus in low light. Its so frustrating. There are many other things it lacks as well
Brian Michael Hey Brian, definitely check out trading in your 60d for the 70d. It's autofocus is much improved, even in low light.
Cheers
Chris Winter
Chris Winter you like the 70D more than the 7D Mk II
Keep up the reviews I really enjoy watching them!
which purture , iso , white balance is best for night shooting on canon 7D mark 2 ?
hello guys i just wanna ask you if you think that canon 1ds mark II is still good camera this days specialy on wedding and portrait event
A balanced and thoughtful review, as always. Well done.
Could the problem with continuous autofocus in live view mode not be solved by back button focusing?
That was an awesome first scene! Impressive!
Should i upgrade from my T1i to this?
I wish they would fuse together
need need and need .... and im a professional
So .... professionals cant be comfortable ?
Somebody doesn't like convenience .
So .... A Touchscreen doesn't help you get quick precise manual focus ? And smooth pull focus
So ....
The guy acts like convenience is a nuances ....
Great review! I picked this camera an waiting for it to come in!! Whats the lenses u r using in this video?
really a very good review on DSLR. I already using canon 700D and thinking about to upgrade it and it pretty detailed and helpful review. Thank you so much for doing this. And keep up helping.
The use case of the 7D was wild life & sports. You guys didn't test it?
As usual guys, phenomenal review. On another note, can you guys review the Sony A77II. It seems like a pretty compelling camera from the spec sheet alone, but from what Ive been able to gather it somehow disappoints.
Hi
Do you guys recommend this as a allround camera?
I have 7d and i like about the bigger body and handling...i do all kind of photographing, from sport to portraits......this is much cheaper than 5d 3.
You guys should do the shootout between Canon 7d m2 and Sony a77 m2 :)
Great review as always guys!
One thing: How exactly did you edit/grade the unprocessed footage at 11:53?
It was just adjusted in Final Cut X's color correction tool, with some light sharpening added. Nothing fancy.
Jordan @ TCSTV
I have to say that you have the best reviews ever lol
I love it how the cheapest Nikon APS-C DSLR has a better sensor the most expensive Canon APS-C DSLR. Kudos to Sony, who actually makes Nikon's sensors I suppose
Ya right. Compare the Nikon at ISO 6400 to the 7D. Nobody mentions this fact. Canon sensors have always had better high ISO DR. Whatch the vid.
So, what I want to know is what did you use for the mic system for the video? Will it handle two lavalier mics?
We ran a single Sony UWP-D11 wireless system into the 7D MK II. To run multiple mics into the 7D MK II you'll need an audio recorder like a Zoom H5, or an XLR adapter like the Beachtek DXA-SLR.
Jordan @ TCSTV
Have the camera a silence shutter?
Thanks for the review guys well said. First time viewer and subscribed!!
Great review. I won,t repeat what is said below but I do hope you will review the Samsung 'S1'
Nice Video, any know what lens he use ?
Hey guys, I'm having a hard time choosing between something else... Nikon or Canon? I already have some cameras in my mind depending on which brand I choose; like the Nikon D610 or D7100 or either this Canon or the Canon 70D would do. So please, could you answer that question (just if there's an actual answer)? Thanks in advance, guys.
Another brilliant review guys!
Which would you recommend for automotive photography, 7D ii or 6D?
Depends if the car is moving or parked. If you want to get a car moving 7d. The speed and autofocus is great. If you are just taking stationary photos of a car the 6d's full frame would be nice
Hi there! Where can I buy used canon 7D Mark II till arrive in Mozambique?
Hii, I am not able to view all focus point when I put wide angle(10-18 mm), on canon 7d mark 2, could you please tell how can i view them all.
Im trying to find a camera for shooting airplanes and this one seems to be really good
Nicely done Chris & Jordan. But I do hope Chris will test the AF performance by himself into some sports and fast action photography. But of course, I appreciate Todd Korol's opinion about its AF performance. :)
Cheers
In the current DX lineup, only the D5300 uses a Sony sensor. The D3300 uses a Nikon-made sensor and the D7100 uses a Toshiba sensor.
VaFreeways
imagine if half of Ford Motor Company's vehicles were powered by GM engines.
Either way, Nikon is not wise to buy sensors from Sony, its direct competitor.
opjoipopikopp[pl[p[ Come back next year when also Canon will be using Sony sensors ;)
opjoipopikopp[pl[p[ This actually remins me alot of Apple before they went to Intel. They had some shitty cpu's compared to Intel, so they had to make the jump!
Canon is almost there. They sensors are, to be honest "shitty" compraed to Sony sensors. They will make the jump just like Apple did with there CPU's.
And that's a good thing! No one says it's a poor business strategy for Apple to use Intel CPU's and mainly Samsung parts in there iPhones.
hi , may i know the model of the white long lens using in this video... ??
I love the 7DII.
It makes great images, not as soft as the reviewer stated, believe me it on par with anything on the market as apsc.
It has a snappy auto focus and the body is great.
Nothing is as good for the price.
It will sell plenty
Hi Guys,
When you get a chance to do a compare video please do a Samsung NX1 vs the Canon 7D2. I'm a Canon user but I've never been temped to buy another camera system until I took a look at the specs of the NX1. Head to head... who wins!
Can't seem to get 60fps for video. Could you advise? Thank you!
Great review may be my next camera from a 700D. What autofocus mode did the photographer use during the shots of the woman's rugby match?
Hey guys, I really enjoy the review. Can you compare this camera to the sony a77II, that would be great!
Get the d7200
Get the 80D.
Hi
I have got canon 7d ii and can't make it work for sharp continues tracking photos. What settings do you actually have if you shoot sport or wild life as when I use it I have 2 out of 10 photos sharp .
Where my Sony a7r II can track perfectly...
thanks
I have been reluctant to buying this camera: I am not sure the fast autofocus will make me forget the softness on the pictures. Might bite the bullet...
How does this compares with sony a77 mark 2?
Best review ive seen about the 7d mark II :)
How the AF of this camera compares to the nikon d750, I know that is FF. But talking generally about AF through the viewfinder. And the sharpness of the pictures. I have the 70D and I get a lot of soft images even a high shooter speed and single focus.
Excellent, informative video, guys!
Hi Chris. I would like to see your thoughts on the Sony A77m2. I have one and the focusing tracking is awesome! I had the old Canon 7D but I sold it and got the Sony and have no regrets.
TheCameraStoreTV a77 II review? or comparison?
What about DCR in comparison to full frame?
How much does that Bazooka lens cost? I have a home equity loan that I want to drop on a lens and buy the body with some pocket change.
Really good review, best I've seen in a long time.
