Eeling was something nearly every Kiwi kid done at some point as they were growing up. Well, at least it was in my generation 😁 chur chur for the comment 😎
Thanks for another great episode showing off your beautiful country. Great to see you guys trying fresh water out. You really are spoilt for choice over there
Yes. This one was great. Loved everything about this video. The eels. The river.the trout. Just a BEATIFUL river and great shots. I would love to see more of these videos.
So good to hear people enjoyed the change of scenery 😎 I’d very much like to do it again and love to do it where it was possible to film the fish being fish 😁 chur chur for watching and commenting 👍
Many thanks for the fantastic video. Fishing coastal off the rocks or fishing inland up a stream, we don't know how beautiful this country can be and how lucky we are. Look forward to the next one. Cheers Pete.👍😀
That's all I did in Scotland as a youngster, catch Frogs and Great Crested Newts in our own massive pond in the back of the property! Great memories Milan!
Nato amazing video bro and Milan great to see your home finally finished and what a beautiful job you and the boys did until your video Nato and Milan Chur Chur from your Aussie brother John

*EPIC* this was awesome to watch! Great fishing, really really enjoyed this 1! I recon it was gd for yas to flush out sm of that salt water. Thanks for sharing look forward to the nxt one. .
An epic fishing and cinephotographic result!! No catching eels? In my early days (60's) smoked eel was a delicacy, not now? Ps, Milan needs a fly rod, his touch on the rod requires a fly rig.
Haven’t eaten eel since I was young. Not sure about the delicacy bit? I’m sure some people might consider it that I have only had it a couple times and can’t remember what it tastes like? It’s was really cool to see a few eels again 😁 we appreciate the comment 👍
Just a majestic episode guys! As you said "fishing is fishing!" - you can be proud of not only your filming efforts but for us to feel like we're part of this beauty. Now you've got us interested in the hunting channel... as a side question we always enjoy the food aspect- does Milan back off the carbohydrates (spuds etc) later in the day? We love the food part of your journey thank you team 🙏✌️
Awesome to hear you enjoy all things lateral line 😎 we often have roast/fried potatoes with dinner so there is no backing off carbohydrates here 😁 chur chur for watching and commenting 👍
Non river fisherman and to be honest I probably don't deserve the title of fisherman these days but I have to say this is so enjoyable to watch it is so easy to watch more of this killer content 🤌
feeding those eels is quite fun. they are really bold. even if u handle them, they just shake it off like its nothing. but man they r so slimy to hold! wen will u try and fish the southisland canal for those monster mutant trout? haha that would b interesting to see: catching a trout bigger than a snapper haha
“Heading down south to catch a mutant trout” that’s a cool UA-cam title 😂 everything is just time and money brother. One day we will get there I hope 👍 chur chur for watching and commenting 😎
You make me homesick, albeit I came from the South Island... but that's OK... As someone recently said .. "TON of FUN!!!" I forgot to add that the BIGGEST eels live in the ARTHUR RIVER up from Milford Sound. To catch them, a Nescafe Coffee tin and some eggs! But what would I know...
When we were kids we caught them in a creek that flows into the Avon River in Chch using horse meat wrapped in wool. Their teeth caught in the wool and we were able to get them out of the creek that way. Some were monsters the size of our legs
Those arent to bad a size, back when i was a kid living in KatiKati, there was a river behind the farm plenty of eels, one we could not get was at least 6ft long and across the head a good 5inches wide. A bloody monster
It's such a beautiful life~ I want to join in and live there~ This is South Korea. I need a lot of information so I can get there, so I'd like to get some help~*
“Fund all this?” What do you think we fund? It’s all filmed and edited on my iPhone and then I load it to UA-cam from my iPhone. It’s pretty simple stuff 😎 chur chur

A fisherman is someone who does it for a living, a recreational fisherman is generally called a angler

Milan’s dream home is his life savings/his life worth of working, he put everything he had into that house and a mortgage. The Lateral line made no contribution to his house.
