Lord, every song I heard sang growing up in church, (I'm 68 now) seems to be embodied in your spirit and voice. Thank you Father for gifting Marvin Williams in such a marvelous way!
Sitting here playing all these old songs my grandmother taught me. Thank you Marvin, for bringing the Holy Spirit into my surroundings. You are anointed. May you and your family be always blessed
I had a dream the other night and this song was being played. I could not hear the words but clearly remembered the music from growing up. It's been a while and could not remember all the words. Didn't understand what the dream was about but after listening to the words...all I can say is THANK YOU LORD! I understand! And thank you sir for posting this. Thank you.
Thank you for ministry in song Mr. Williams. I found out a dedicated family member was diagnosed with cancer. He's very elderly, and he may or may not make it thru this, but i very badly wanted to hear this song when i was given the news. I've listened to several renditions, all of them wonderful. But this one is the one that made me rejoice. Thank you Lord! In spite of! No matter what it may be! Thank the Lord!
It is important to keep these songs alive. Your efforts in recording them will not be lost. The effects in the lives of those who hear may well stretch into eternity. Psalm 145:1,2
Hallelujah! I grew up singing in the choir singing & listening to our church choirs! I remember quite well how my Mama's choir sang this song! As a child, I did not know what this meant! It sounded just good! "Old" people who cry & shout! But, at 67 yo I know what it means now! Thanks for sharing & encouragement !
Bless you Marvin. God knows how to pre-record and deliver a message right on time and he often uses you to bring just the right one when I need it. You have encouraged me in many a trial without ever knowing it!
My Lord, I have loved this song every since I was introduced to it many years ago at Bible School. I must flat love the way you sing it. And I love the way you play. God bless you much. He knows, just how much we can bear.

He Knows Just How Much You Can Bear
(Roberta Martin)
(Verse)
We are our heavenly Father's children
And we all know that He loves us one and all
Yet there are times when we find we answer
Another's voice and call
If we are willing, He will teach us
His voice only to obey no matter where
And He knows Yes, He knows
Just how much we can bear
(Verse)
Think of the times you've asked the question
Down in your heart now just what shall I do
Then you confide in your friends and loved ones
But they have troubles too
There is a God who rules earth and heav'n
In Him there's relief from every pain or care
For He knows, Yes He knows
Just how much we can bear
(Verse)
Just praise His name although you're burdened
For there are blessings He's bestowed on you
In every way we must never doubt Him
These trials we must go through
Try to endure a little longer
And don't forget that for each of us He cares
And He knows, Yes, He knows
Just how much we can bear
(Refrain)
Though the load gets heavy
You're never left alone to bear it all
Just ask for strength and keep on tolling
Tho' the teardrops fall
You have the joy of this assurance
The heavenly Father will always answer prayer
And He knows, Yes He knows
Just how much you can bear
I need this
Yes!!!!
