Dude it was worth. It is gorgeous! The excitement in your voice proves that you know there's value beyond monetary value, and that particular value is arguably and comparatively more valuable. I'm more than okay with the fact that you'll be showing this piece off in loads of videos to come. I see it happening already. ;)
My favorite of the Libertads are the pre 1990's. Love the writing on the side of the coin. It's just beautiful. Unfortunately they stopped doing that, as well as everyone else with them
Grats! Seems like a perfectly practiced 12 step program to me. One day at a time. Some steps are made of silver. Some of gold. Thank you for sharing! Gorgeous...
That there is a beauty! Not only is the reverse proof a great investment, it is also, by far (in my opinion) the only type of Libertad to get. For me, the BU’s are way too flat and the proof’s don’t bring out the details enough. This is similar to the American Eagles, to me. Maples and Britannias are gorgeous in BU. Your kids will surely appreciate acquiring your stash at some point!
Hey Stateside, I’m addicted to libertads too. The reverse proof gold is just so romantically beautiful I cannot resists it’s magical allure. I actually prefer the 1/2 oz version as it has just the one large eagle and not the smaller ones surrounding it like the 1oz does. Thanks for showing them off. 🍻
no gold but have started collecting the early dates starting with 1982, and also have multiples of the new ones. Someday I will have one of the gold ones. Great video
Hey stateside: Just one comment. If i recall correctly Libertads are coins even without a currency denomination as they are legal tender worth the gold spot price at the specific day you look at it. Same applys to the krugerrand btw. Both are coins and not rounds.. Great video though. I love Libertads too. Best wishes from Europe
Just got a libertad proof 2024 and I tested it on my sigma. Failed the 99.9% pure and passes the 98.6% lol. Bought it from liberty coin. Great QC from Mexico ha.
I do believe they are coins even though they have no denomination because the Mexican government backs it by honoring current spot price when used .....
I was actually looking at the bristlecone high relief gold coin 1 oz a few months ago. It was going for 3200$ on ebay. You can't find it for anything less than 3700 now.
Reverse Proofs are my favorite, the image is POLISHED. I love Polished you know. Take a few days to learn the Spanish alphabet, it's super easy. Stem changing verbs, not so easy.
@@StatesideStash Not the language, just how the letters sound so you can pronounce things like Libertad correctly. Mostly just the Vowels. oh never mind LOL
People still don't get it. Silver and Gold is not for flipping. Its just like you said, "Family inherritance". Investing for myself and retirement is Stock Market. I buy call options, sell covered-calls, etc for building my stock portfolio which has been doing better. I stack gold and silver for family. I hope my silver and gold is still all there after I pass so my family can have it. I need to make an in depth video of my gold and silver stash. Do you buy gold jewelry as well?
Ahem... show me where it's written that to be a coin a monetary piece must have a 'denomination'. "Dollars" are fiat, Gold, and yes, AN OUNCE OF SILVER is money. People insisting otherwise are splitting hairs and frankly incorrect. They're issued by a government mint. Want me to copy/paste some definitions of "coin"? There are plenty I've read and NONE insist on the denomination being a requisite.
The first step is to acknowledge that you have a problem. LOL! Love those LIbertads too! Congrats on the cool pickup!
Thanks miles!
If you have a un-healthy addiction to libertads, like and subscribe.
🙌🏻
SWEET!
I bought 10.00 face of benjis today to bring my total to 450.00 face of "junk"
grind on
You’re killing it!
That Libertad is beautiful! Nice addition!❤
Thank you!

Darn nice Stateside. Absolutely beautiful round and proof!! I'm jealous but lm just getting started, my time will come.
Slow and steady Chester!
"Its unmatched beauty and... premiums." LMAO! Beautiful coin.
Gorgeous!!!!!! I am jealous!!!!
Thank you!
My favorite of the Libertads are the pre 1990's. Love the writing on the side of the coin. It's just beautiful. Unfortunately they stopped doing that, as well as everyone else with them
Those chunky ones with the writing on the side are the best
Nice collection so far. Lucky heirs.
Thank you!
Grats!
Seems like a perfectly practiced 12 step program to me.
One day at a time.
Some steps are made of silver. Some of gold.
Thank you for sharing! Gorgeous...
Thank you brother! Hope your week has been well
@@StatesideStash ... Every week is a bonus.
Especially if it contains Stateside wisdom and Libertads!
Mahalo nui loa, Braddah
wow! great buy! 🔥🇲🇽🔥
Thanks Nathan!
Great buy and great reasons… Secondarily - we get to benefit and its great for vids when you compare gold pieces from different mints :)
Just like to share the joy!

I do love the BUs but they don’t pop like the RP does
Beautiful coins!
Thank you west!
Wow congrats bud.
Big fan of Reverse Proof coins….Not leathery at all
I just bought my first pre-33 indian head on an auction.
You’ve single handedly ruined the Buffalo for me 🤣
Congrats on your buy!
Hello, absolute beauty. Precise execution of a great motif. Thanks for the great video.
Thanks for watching!
I’m starting to like the Libertads as well, regardless of the price. Beautiful coin.
To me it is the most beautiful coin in the world
Very cool reverse proof
Thank you brother!
Congrats!!! What a beautiful piece.
Thank you!

Cheers Jim! I may buy a half ounce in the future but who knows
😎 hi Stateside . So , you knocked another off the bucket list 👍 Congratulations ✊ Enjoy
Thanks Gerald! Very happy with it!
Libertad looks amazing in gold!!
They are the most beautiful coin in silver and gold!
Congrats , I'm addicted to Libs too , absolutely gorgeous addition to your collection 😍
Thank you jynxx!!
I despair of ever getting even a silver reverse proof Libertad. Congrats on your AU.
Thanks brother!
Well heck guess I missed this one or had an old man moment! Lol appreciate the content Bro!
Haha anytime brother!
no gold but have started collecting the early dates starting with 1982, and also have multiples of the new ones. Someday I will have one of the gold ones. Great video
Those thick old school libertads are amazing
Bling Bling
It makes me smile
Awesome addiction State side 🐦🔥
Thanks brother!
What a beauty. il take a Libertad followed by a Panda
Great choices
Congrats on the find. Still waiting to see the libertad tear drop tat
Haha
Congrats bro! Very nice, I like I like
Thank you Josh!

Thank you for adding this!
Congrats, the RP libertads are the most beautiful. I am also addicted to libertads.
It’s a great addiction to have 😉
Semper Fi!
Semper fi brother!
👍
I would buy one, but damn they are way more expensive than all the other gold coins
Still on the quest for the 2020 1 oz RP AU Libertad. I just can’t justify the $5k to $7k price tag…..yet. Any update on the 2024 mintage numbers?
Still nothing on the mintage 😩
With the plan being to pass your Libertads down to your children.
I am open to being adopted.
You don't need to decide right now.
I can do that! It’ll be a $50k deposit please
El Adicto!
I have a problem 🤣
Wow!! Is what comes to mind I need to get me one of them beauties
Personal opinion is TOTALLY WORTH IT
Gold Buffalos make me fall off the wagon honestly.
Buffalos and libertads always make me fall off the wagon
how much did u buy this for?
Little north of $3k
Yes beautiful I would love to buy them but ouch hurts my pockets to put out that much extra money
It’s a one time purchase lol
Just got a libertad proof 2024 and I tested it on my sigma. Failed the 99.9% pure and passes the 98.6% lol. Bought it from liberty coin. Great QC from Mexico ha.
why do gold libertads always test negative on sigma metallics verifiers
I do believe they are coins even though they have no denomination because the Mexican government backs it by honoring current spot price when used .....
Nevermind... it's 2024
Im going to need to get 100oz bar.
To me it’s totally worth it
That 1 kilo Libertad is a real beauty SS.
Thank you! It’s my pride and joy!
don’t let your kids read this lol
@@Capt_Stacks I have a few years before they can understand lol
The premiums will hold up and likely increase down the line.

Definitely Mexican in a previous life 🇲🇽
Are u gona have it graded since it’s a low mintage????
😂😂👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Haha. I won’t have it graded,
Nice excuse to pull out the Kilo reverse proof one year younger than my rendition of the 2022 lower mintage hunk of beauty
I find any excuse I can to bring it out 🤣

There are silver and gold out there you can flip though. It’s not the purpose but it can be done
I picked up a 1/4 oz Libertad from Apmex last week. And a 1/4 oz Lunar Dragon.
Congrats on your pick ups!
Also, Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl aren't Spanish words, they're names in the native language, Nahuatl.
This is great to know! Still won’t be able to pronounce it 🤣
If only the Libertad had a security feature like the Maple or Britannia, I would be all over them. Way too many counterfeits out there
You’re not wrong about counterfeiting but that’s why you buy from a reputable dealer and sigma test you’ll be fine
@@StatesideStash … simple basic research will find tons of counterfeit libertads and most people don’t own a sigma
I didn’t buy an ounce but I did just buy a 1/20 gold lib. Iv got a pretty unhealthy habit with libs also 😂
Congrats on your purchase brother!

Oh no way. I still call them coins. Minted by the Mexican government. Close enough.
Agreed that’s where I’m at!
