Felipe Massa's last F1 win is one of the saddest victories for him because he lost the title to Lewis Hamilton by one point on the final lap. Despite him losing the title, he still appreciated the crowd for coming to see him and he is ture gentleman. 😢
He had this really weird thing where even prime Schumacher/Alonso/Hamilton were no match for him at like 3 tracks and he was average on the rest of them
Imagine losing the championship at the last race by one point at the last turn because of a fellow Brazilian helping Renault cheat. To only then have a near fatal crash the following year.
I guess you mean king of Interlagos and Turkey... anyways, M Schumacher won 4 times, Seb 3, Lewis 3, and Massa only 2 in Interlagos. What do you mean by king??🤣
@@adriantenorio4202before his accident, Felipe won every single Turkish gp when he had a race winning Ferrari, and won 2 which should’ve been 3 Brazilian gp’s had they not sacrificed him for kimi in 07. Felipe won 2 and should’ve been 3 out of 3, Michael had a car capable of winning for over 10 years, Lewis had a car capable of winning for 15, and seb for a number of years.
@@slowspecv69Massa was clearly the fastest at Interlagos in 2012 as well, sacrificed his whole race to defend Alonso's 2nd place. No doubt he would have won that race with no team orders. I make it 4
Such an underrated driver and often overlooked. He had the skills and was not affraid to fight anyone. If it was not for his incident in 2009 which affected him, 2010 could have been so different.
Thanks for the Videos I watch F1 since I was 5 in 1998 and all of the drivers of the 2000s are my Heroes. Especially Michael, Kimi, Mika and Felipe. It's great to relive their victories
The prince who never became king. Felipe Massa is probably the F1 equivalent of Neymar, minus the extravagant personality.. both were destined for greatness, just sadly didn’t work out, always in the shadows of legends like Alonso and Hamilton.
And he easily could have added France, Belgium, Brazil 2007 (team orders to let Kimi through for the win), Hungary, Singapore 2008 (mechanical/team failures from almost guaranteed wins), Germany 2010 (team orders to let Alonso win), Brazil 2012 (sacrificed his whole race to stay behind Alonso). Could even argue that at Abu Dhabi 2014 he didn't want to challenge Hamilton and risk affecting the championship with a collision. The best number 2 driver to both Kimi and Alonso, such a shame that the year he was at his best he had terrible reliability which cost him the championship
Allen was a real discgrace, thank god he's not around commenting any longer. His voice when any non british driver won was so disrespectful. Best example being Brazil '07
Felipe Massa, specifically before being hit by Barrichello's spring in Hungary 2009, was far better than Perez. Before this, he had a level similar to prime Ricciardo (2016-18) for example. I think most people forgot that even in 2009, Felipe was beating with some margin Kimi Raikkonen before suffering his accident.
Let’s face it. Overall, Massa was pretty shit and this ridiculous court challenge has made him the absolute laughing stock of motor sport (he was already quite high up on the list anyway).
Massa in other tracks: 🙂👍
Massa in Turkey/Bahrain/Brazil: 🗿

Massa was incredible at Turkey, most drivers really struggled through those high speed turns.
Istanbul, Interlagos, Bahrain he was absolutely immense. Also not too bad around Hockenheim and Spain.
Prime Hamilton is like 2017-2021
He was never the same after the crash at Hungary....

Yes he was. He was better than Raikkonen both before and after. Raikkonen was even worse in 2014 than Massa was vs Alonso.
The 2014 car was utter shit. Alonso just unreal to do anything with that.

Arguably the best ever non-champion in the past 30 years
He was robbed in Germany 2010, Fernando may have been faster but didn't deserve that win

Such a shame. He could've had way more if the spring from Barrichello's car never almost took his life. He could've easily got over 20 wins
