Unlucky with Ferrari in 2010 & 2012 Ferrari didn't provide him with a Championship winning Car. He only won 1 Race in 2011 British GP. He won 3 Races in 2012.
Hated Alonso as a Renault driver (was immature and couldn't stand to see Schumi being beaten) but then became a huge fan after his time at Ferrari. Really wish he'll get another win before his career is over!
imo he would beat vettel... by a bit. so if he joined in 2008 or 2009. he would probably have been a 7 time champ. 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013
Fernando isn't just fast he is one of the smartest drivers on the grid. If Aston Martin keep progressing they way they have been he could be adding to this tally. Types Lewis Hamilton's biggest fan!...
The fact that he ddn't win more championships is probably because he is not as talented as he thinks. He makes a lot of stupid mistakes and he was simply quick enough and had enough luck in 2005 and 2006. In 2007 He was probably even quicker, but he instead of focusing on himself he fought with the team. In 2008 it was visible he couldn't grasp an early podium. In 2009 he had a bad car, but I don't think that bad. In 2010 he should easily claim the title with 7 or 8 wins. The same goes to 2012, when he could also bring out more wins. In 2013 he simply wasn't quick enough! Then you could see the "legend" breaking. All these years from 2014 to 2018 were simply a mess. I don't know what convinced him to come back to McLaren, whilst he should have stayed for the next 3-4 years in Ferrari and I am sure in 2017 he would win that season easily ahead of Hamilton. In 2018 he would also have had enough of a car to win a championship. He spent a lot of years wondering whether there is a team in which he could win another championship. 2021 and 2022 were simply an indication he isn't good enough. In 2023, let's be serious, he was very lucky to join Aston Martin team, but with the team slipping away... Another chance - WHERE? Mercedes? No, there's Antonelli coming. Red Bull? Not a chance. I think he should stay in AM for next year or two and retire for good. This guy is 43 and is blocking younger maybe faster drivers from running a car that is good enough for a win. Now, let's be serious - if Vettel didn't retire, would Alonso stay in Alpine? Probably yes, because he would have no other option. I think his time is over and he should recognize that until it's too late. He was fast one day. Now he is mediocre. And people still have the same view, that he is a legend. He won his last title 18 years ago. 10 years from his last win. This guy needs help. With such a talent would he not have won at least one more title? He would have. The point is he has too many problems within himself.
In my opinion Alonso IS one of the greats. In 2006 he had to beat Michael Schumacher in a similar car to win the title. In 2007 McLaren bet on Lewis in the second part of the season and Alonso still drew on points with him. In 2008 Alonso had the 4th best car and still managed 2 wins (or 1 win if you discount crashgate). In 2009 with an even worse car he managed a pole position in Hunagry, both times destroying his teammate. 2010-2013 Ferrari were much slower than RedBull in most races. Alonso still managed to fight for the title in 2010 and 2012. In 2014 in a midfield car, Alonso scored 2 podiums and destroyed Raikkonen who is a WDC and also considered to be one of the fastest drvers. He beat Button(another World Champion) in 2015-16 in McLaren and then destroyed Vandoorne who was a highly regarded young driver in 17-18. In 2021 he beat Ocon, a solid midfield driver, in his first season after returning to the sport and as a 40 year old. In 2022 he had bad luck that led to Ocon scoring more points. In 2023 he finally got a competetive car and scored 8 podiums and got 4th in the championship even with the AM being 5th fastest at the end of the season, once again destroying his teammate
Fernando won his title in 2005 with the second fastest car, the McLaren MP4-20 had a better engine and was a beast in straight line speed. In 2006 Fernando beat Schumacher in equal machinery, even though the FIA banned Renault's mass damper mid season. In 2007 Fernando had 0 support from McLaren and had to adapt to the new Bridgestone tires, while Lewis already had them in GP2. In 2009 the season was dominated by the double diffuser cars. In 2010 the Red Bull was much better than the Ferrari, just look at how dominant the RB6 is in qualifying. In 2012 the Ferrari should've never challenged for a title and was a terrible car, Fernando also had a useless teammate while Red Bull sacrificed Webber every race to help Seb in the championship. In 2013 the FIA changed the tires mid season which advantaged Red Bull massively. Throughout his whole career Fernando always had fight for his podiums, wins and Championships, he never had the luxury of having a dominant car like Hamilton and Vettel. Fernando also extracted 100% of all the cars he drove, thus outperforming every teammate he had throughout his career. Fernando trashed Trulli in 2003/2004, then demolished Fisichella in 2005/2006, he matched Lewis in 2007 despite having to adapt to the Bridgestones, he demolished Massa and Raikkonen at Ferrari from 2010 to 2014, he then beat Button and ended Vandoorne's career at McLaren, and even after his comeback he matched Ocon despite being 40 years old and he is now destroying Stroll for a second year in a row. Fernando an absolute legend, no matter the car you give him, he will perform and beat his teammate, while drivers like Vettel and Hamilton underperform when their cars aren't dominant.
We want him to win again!
He will win again! 💪🔥

Best driver in f1 history. Deserves so much wins and championships. Hope he will win a 3rd World Championship in the future.

He Deserves to be a 4 or 5 Times World Champion.

He is one of the best definitely in the top 5 of all Time.
Not Sure if he is the best but definitely one of the best he is Propably 3rd or 4th best driver of all time.
Always gets the absolute best out of whatever car you give him. Phenomenal driver!
He deserve 60/70 victories
Beatiful yellow blue car good times
Great video. Could you also do Raikkonen

How fitting that his last win was in his home race
Imagine if Alonso went to Red Bull, he could've been a 5 time champion already

What a perfect video
5:07 aged badly (although Alonso was not to point the finger at for Crashgate as he was unaware of the whole ordeal)
His Last Win was the Spanish GP in 2013 his home Race. Long time without a Win for Fernando.

Fernando Alonso WDC: 2005,2006,2025,2026.
A comment from the future.
He was brilliant at Ferrari he definitely deserved to win the World Championship with them.
You just wait sunshine your time will come
I liked his back to back wins with Renault in 2008.
I want Alonso/Verstappen cooperation as teammates in LeMans in the future or maybe even a cooperative drivers academy.
Michael Schumacher David Coulthard Rubens Barrichello Mika Hakkinen Jacques Villeneuve Alain Prost c'est possible?
He should be a 3rd or 4th time world champion. But not his fault.
Nico Rosberg?
He was Runner up For Ferrari in 2010, 2012, 2013,
