@@flynnhendry I mean if you wanna get technical this whole song is a solo of its version, and just because its chords doesnt mean it cant be a solo.. it's the only part of the song he changed and doesnt repeat so in another scenario this would indeed be the "solo"
You do know that back in the 70’s it was common courtesy to listen to the actual artist than to make unnecessary noise, as a sign of respect for the craft, right?
It's a bbc session. They gotta be quiet so that bbc can record his playing. Same with KEXP and Tiny Desk concert. These are fairly small venues that are meant to be broadcast and he's prob on the radio as he's playing
who knows what i would’ve done if i got to experience this live. scream my head off by the first chord. or break down into tears. i am so grateful for u archy
(Ascending) E, F#, Ab, A, B, (back to) E I think and dick about with it until you get a good improvised line if your on bass. I get more complicated as I go :) Then the final final part is just a chromatic scale descending from D I think on the E string (I'm a bassist so the guitar doesn't play those chords).
Rumour has it one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.
the dude and I share the same guitar strap!! Nice! I hope more bands start to sound like this, holding on the old musical roots but making it sound new and fresh
Is it just me but does his old stuff off of 6 feet below the moon have a entirely different sound (that was better imo). Seems his new songs off of Ooz and the new album don’t seem to have the same type of rhythm, guitar, and overall feel. I feel like he might have tow separate fan bases for old krule and new krule .
Raffi Mannarelli he wrote some of the six feet beneath the moon songs like 5 years previous to its to release, so when he was 15-16, so there’s probably big creative changes that happened with him
to be fair he was 17/18/19 when he made his first few releases and now he’s 26 so there’s bound to be some differences in sounds/sonic maturity. the OOZ seems to be more influenced by things like nu jazz than his old stuff which was more trip hop inspired, and man alive sounds more post-punk influenced
Where is the band at ? :( I love the Jazz bass and drums and the harmony on the guitar is great :( I just covered this for 1000 people and it went great :)
man i'm bassist and i really know well the bassline of this piece and the way he plays;he plays some bass notes on the E chord that's all and the cameraman would really be an ass if he hadn't showed the others musicians,as all did in other performances of king krule. Please listen all the other versions and you'll see you're wrong "you egg" as you said ^^
I played no worse when I was a Soviet schoolboy. I had a Czech copy of the Stratacaster Jazz. it was constantly out of tune. and my voice was out of tune too and broke like all teenagers. but it occurred to me to go on stage, so I played with my classmates in the school basement. probably due to the fact that we did not become rockstars, this guy has a job now))))
Cant believe he was only 8 in this
Basically
Lmfaooo
Dawg, I can’t believe he was only in the womb when he wrote, “Easy, Easy”.
@@logan4x6 bluds mom did the ultra sound and saw making writing motions with his hand. he was already songwriting 😩😩
@@magnusholmes Shit, I knoooow. And get this: He had already written material up until *Man Alive* , before he even got the chord snipped.
he's honestly my favorite musician. this performance proves this further, he sounds amazing w/o his band too.
His strumming is something I’ll never match
The people in the crowd are so lucky.
And ungrateful
They look bored
i hope Mr. Moog, Mr. Piney, Mr. Reath and Mr. Bream liked this song
Are any of these names spelt correctly? Lmao

Literally one of my favorite live versions of this song. It's so beautiful with live silence. And the guitar...gives me chills and I want more!
he's 19. i'm convinced he sold his soul to the devil! he's too good.
Um... He's actually 22? You should research before you comment lmfao.
+Kevin V. okay but in this video, which we are watching and referring to (duh) he is not 22.
Kevin V. Wow you're so smart
Noro compared to you, yes, I suppose.
Damn Kevin you just reviewed all your school material so you could look cool in a youtube comment, congrats.
Seeing this live I might of cried. Really beautiful music thank you krule. Hope I get to witness your genius one day
This is dedicated
To a Mr. Bream
A Mr. Read
A Mr. Pinty
And a Mr. Mood
I've hit rock bottom
Ooh, now I'm running away
I've made it babe
Think of what your lover would say
Think in a brotherly way
See girl, I won't say it
Until it finds me
One day
My mind starts to derange
Distortion to rage
As sight loses its range
As everyones perspective begins to change
Ooh, I'm the same
Just something to blame
Another thing wrong with the game
Watch me as I descend
Into shame
Into
Into shame
Into
Into shame
When your hearts got no more
You're lying dead on the floor
The wounds in your back are still sore
And everyone who watched you
Watched on in awe
But now you see it's nothing but poor
Another lost soul
Never accomplished a goal
Or made a light out of their lives
And they're the ones who pulled out the knife
Oh, like that
Oh, everything is gone in front of your eyes
Your hands have lost the grip on their prize
And you've got no more tries
Cause you've lost them through lies
Oh, but your lucky this time
And hopefully it'll make you seem more wise
Or otherwise
They'll leave you to your own demise
Cause it's the end of something
I did not want to end
Beginning of hard times to come
Something that was not meant to be is done
And this is the start of what was
What a message.. Like there's no way I could've transferred that emotion into words
so insane to see how far he has come
Along with Her's, the two artists that have stood out for me over the past 10 years.
Why is this not on the album? Dope song, and an amazing performance.
Copyright reasons because of the Streets reference at the end of the song
@@jamiepatterson422 what! OMG! isn't that called a follow up? damn, that's fucked up! I want this song so bad on Spotify in good quality :( DAMN!

there's clearly a bass lol
holyyyy --- this is amazing
It looks like what hes playing is so easy but oh my god you gave to brake your hand to get some of those chords
Fliam Flopper omg it kills! Stretching your pinky that far is hell 😂
Ik. I remember practicing this song and it felt like my hand was gonna break.
Archy makes it look so effortless
Yep, Archy’s songs are infamously painful to play. Hell of a lot of fun to do so tho.
When you play, listen to the sound of your guitar not your hands
The little guitar solo he does at 2:30 is just wow
Jacob Andrade pretty easy to play but he made up the progression himself which is really impressive
It's cool but its not a solo, it's just chords
