With two joints and no lip the action is more subtle and realistic than any other swim baits that I have used. It also works with multiple type retrieves better than most other plugs, it seldom fouls when cast AND it retrieves with little resistance which makes it more comfortable to fish in the larger sizes after hours of fishing. I've had very good success with these lures but I do find the price pretty high. That seems to be true of a lot of lures lately and if your laying out as much money as one often does to go fishing, scrimping on the price of a few lures doesn't make much sense.

the soft one sucks for bass the eyes are really cheep not for the price they ask for
You have to remove the last hook because it kills the fish, they just get hook from very deep inside
