I'm using SmartDB+MVC model aprouch to design my Apex Aplications. With this architecture I can build a Modular Monolith (Majestic Monolith) encapsulating all the bussines logic (model) inside de DB structuring my code in PL/SQL packages with APIs and leaving the View and the Controller in Apex.
