Bcoz of covid 19 i dont have readymade coconut pcs so bought 5 coconut from market and jst now asked husband to break them. N after what disaster he did i came on youtube to see the ways to break it. Locate the vertical line nearest to the soft eye, hold it in the palm like in this video so that the vertical line is on top, just give one hard knock on this line with a koytha/ hammer / heavy objects ,breaks into two halves without any un even cut edges. these can be grated with coconut gratres available in any hard ware shop. electrically operated graters are available on line with a built in safety device to prevent accidents. I use one.
