When the word gets out that this behavior leads to a lifetime flying ban, this will become less common.
I'm not holding my breath til then.
AGREED!!! And I DO hope there is in fact a "NO-FLY" list somewhere that is actually GLOBAL (INTERNATIONAL). We hear about such a list, but no airline actually confirms any such list exists.
Wouldn't it be a good idea for ALL airlines, globally, to have some kind of statement noted somewhere, confirming the existence of such a list? If anything, it might make ONE idiot think twice before acting up like this.

you assume that these people believe their behavior is wrong and that common sense will make them actually comply. Unfortunatly this will still happen regardless of them being banned. but hopefully over time maybe just maybe it will slowly reduce.

I definitely understand that and are tempted to agree with you, but there are a fair amount of documented cases of innocent passengers getting kicked off. Flight attendants don't really need more reason than them claiming they personally feel unsafe with a passenger on their flight in order to kick them off

That is Belfast so that's PSNI and the majority of them are armed and yet they manage to show up and NOT shoot anyone so maybe Chicago PD could send the off duty over to learn something. Just a thought.
Chicago cops are fat, lazy and complacent, and by far nowhere near intelligent from my years of experience living there. The only time they step into action is when there's "A little something extra" in it for themselves, and those situations never include any danger to them. To me it sounds like you hang out in bars with them when their flappin' their lips and bragging, but we all know that "the real reality" outside the bar is quite different.
It has been my experience that people become much more corporative if you hit them in the head with a baton.
Might be wrong but haven't seen a lot of cops carrying batons.

You're being quite optimistic that there was someone (or perhaps a few), that would have given her a kid. But I do suppose this could easily have happened on any of the numerous occasions to the pub.
It really makes you wonder what they are thinking? Okay. there are three of them and one of me. I'm 53 and I've come to realize something I suspected from my younger days, watching friends at their houses. Starting with the parents of Gen X, parenting became extremely permissive. The problem with that, is the more permissive you are as a parent, the more your kid is aimed at having to have law enforcement be the ones who say "NO" to them. I thank my ex-military father for the way he raised us. We kind of thought he was an asshole at times, but looking back, I realize it worked out much better otherwise.

I was on the runway in Denver and they were ejecting a passenger...me and my buddy starting singing bad boys when they were pulling this crazy lady off the plane. We got the whole plane singing. A good time was had once nut case got off the plane.

Many of these muppets have serious mental health issues which escalate out of all proportion in a stressful situation such as flying. It's often a combination of medication and 🍸 which sends them off the rails. You can actually see the angst and self-loathing in her face. Airlines need stricter rules about banning people for life if they create such disturbance on a flight. My family's life or theirs...no contest!
They are mostly brought up by only a mother, who was raised only by a mother, so no father figure to teach them and show them not to get pregnant at 16 and have 5 kids by 5 different men so they never grow up and just remain as babies forever. they all fly with ryan air cos cant afford a good airline cos too many children and no father to assist in flight costs.

Could be just lucky I guess but I think we are generally well brought up, respectful and good mannered when out and about. Of course, like everywhere else, things are changing!
