Reliable electrical power becomes one of the most wanted factor in modern world industry where operation should be uninterruptible and maximize the cycle of operation, output quality and to avoid losses and damages. Here we are talking about Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) also known as Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) panel uninterrupted power supply from Mains or backup sources like Diesel gen-set, static ups etc.
WHAT IS AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH (ATS)?
Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is an automated switching device that transfers load power to backup power during mains failure and back to its original state when mains power reinstate to the normal condition. It will have its own contacts, microprocessor to analyses the conditions whether power supply is normal or backup and need backup or mains power. Here "back up power" may become either Standby generator or another mains power or static power source like UPS.

so @13:07 no electricity coming out from either contactors during the delay time ? how would the setup look like if there are 2 contactors with NC Aux, and mechanical interlock in between them, and a delay timer "ON", are those external relay necessary? I think electrical interlock can be done without them...but not sure how would the timer be connected

Same circuit use karo isme generator ka contactor jo dikhaya usme doosra meter ka supply dedo or pehla contactor me 1 meter ka supply dedo. Jab rata Hoga to Pehle Waala contactor ka control mcb band karo doosra chaalu hojayega
Agar automatically change Karna hai to 24 hour timer switch use karo.change over ka time set karo wo automatically kaam karega. But usme power cut ke waqt timer band hogaya tho time galath hojatha hai
