He is good. However, in my opinion, there are some other guys that make their commentary at least not worse than him. I'd say it's just a matter of preferences.
MrYuryZ I totally agree. Yassir, Hansen and Rensch (to name a few) are without a doubt great commentators as well. There is just something about jerry's videos that makes the experience so smooth yet entertaining and fun.

Superb commentary. To be able to verbalise the ideas of two world-class players with consistently accurate predictions during a 1-min game ... I can't find this anywhere else.
I'm starting to learn chess, purely because your videos are so good to watch! Now I'm actually playing, and really enjoying learning.
My dude, i love you, i mean, your voice is super cool, you're capable of making good commentary on super short games which is freaking crazy, while keeping all your calm which is even crazier, you're amazing, i watch your videos to get asleep, well i sometimes stay awake way too much lol Excuse my potato english it's not my native language :p
Isn't 5:59 a draw? White just never lets the black king off of that a file. I guess pawn moves could make the white king give way, but I think she can get under, then black wins the race to the remaining pawns?
I really appreciate your content! Your commentary is very much appreciated, as it's definitely helped make elite chess accessible to a low level player like me. Thanks and keep up the great posts!
That’s by far the funniest and best commentary I have heard in a while and of course the best in chess.. 1) “ohh its Caching, its Caching!, is he the guy who loves doing these knight manoeuvres?! Yes, he is!!!, ...but I don’t know why🤔” 2) “he is back from the bathroom to babaramdev” Rofl
It seems a lot of the participants were experiencing network issues and slight lag throughout the tournament, so that might have factored in to a few time issues or disconnections.
Love the content. Love the commentary. I’m curious about when Jerry will finally pronounce “caching” like “ca-ching”- the onomatopoeia for a cash register.
I don't see chessbrah on these titled arena lately, it seems they only focus on chess.com now, maybe a deal or something. It would be great to see them take part in these tournaments.
Would be funny to see a little reverse psychology. At 36:37, if mutdpro moved the king back instead of blocking with the knight, Carlsen would have pre-moved that pawn anyway. Then take the pawn with the knight and trade minor pieces after if Carlsen takes.

there is a checkmate with a knight each other, for instance Kg6, Ne5 and Kh8 and the following move is Ng8, so you can get it playing Nf7#
