i actually love that you kept that rip in it's nice when bujo videos aren't totally perfect and show that the creative process. is definitely also not always perfect :')
Thank you for advocating that mistakes happen and they're ok. It's been helping me not get frustrated and start over with my journaling which would in turn keep me from actually using it.

I just did exactly that kind of tear last week setting up a monthly spread 😆 glad to see I'm not the only one fixing it with washi tape 😂
I have an idea for the keep out spread, to write on top of it with trackers or anything that are not so sensitive and that you don't mind sharing and try to make it look like there is nothing cut out maybe by having the piece of washi tape run all the way along the side of the page or something so no one will even suspect anything is there and it will be like your hiding it so you can keep it secret. :)

This is my first time watching your video, because I am looking for the way making dutch door and need some inspirations to do it. I love your dutch doors. And the paper ripped moment, I smiled for a second, then I realize that it's okay if we make a mistake in the making of bullet journal setup. Because in the end, we will find a way to fix it :D

After your other Dutch Door video, I was wanting to try one, but not sure what spread to do. I think I'm going to start with a "sensitive tracker." I also love the decorative Dutch Door idea, and I'm going to work that into my next monthly somehow.

I see a lot of videos that show how to set up the spreads but I rarely see how people actually utilize them.
I've used them in a couple of different ways; more so for functionality rather than decoration though I know a lot of people do that too! One example would be on my productivity tracker from May 2020 where I used a Dutch door to house the key: instagram.com/p/CBaYr2VJynp/ 😊

Love the dutch doors especially the last one, but video went a little fast for me as I was trying to figure how you measured it all out but tfs :)

For the pot, the base was 6 squares in for each page (6 squares in on the left and right pages), while the lip of the pot was 12 in from each side. The lip was 3 squares tall, and the number of squares from the bottom of the lip to the bottom of the pot was 10.
The flowers and leaves were placed pretty randomly, but the widest point on the left page was 17-18 squares out from the center, while on the right the widest point was 19-20 💜
