Great video Pete - thanks for sharing. How I love that Class 37 ... I had a Hornby one of those in the mid 1970s when I was a kid, and it was mily pride and joy. How modelling standards and details have improved! 👍🚂

Same here Steve. Only in model form. There are some brilliant freight wagons about. Don't think you could have a big enough layout to collect them all.😏
I recall a similar problem with the Deltics, it turned out to be the kinematic coupling mechanism. You have the option of sending it back, they are guaranteed. Looks great with the bullets though, super update mate.

Hi, great video review, I have a few Accurascale class 37’s in my collection, the silver bullet wagons are superb, I’m not a fan of the weathered look it’s got to be pristine all day long, the detail and chrome finish are a sight for sore eyes and such a shame Dapol don’t make them anymore, thanks for sharing.
@@StormmyStormmy Hi Steve. Thank you for your nice comment. Yeah silver bullets getting hard to find. I didn't know Dapol had stopped making them, seems odd considering they were so popular. Yeah pristine all the way for me as well.👍 Thanks for watching. ....Pete....
@@delphjunction1168 Hi, I’m a fan of the Ermewa variants which were part of the first batch, the Nacco variants are the latest batch, I see them for sale quite a lot and the strange thing is that they go for mad money now, I wish Dapol would do another run of the MRA tipper wagons again because I want a set but I’m not paying the eBay tax prices.
Yeah with you as far as ebay goes, I don't have the postage problems but some of the sellers don't live in the real world with the prices they ask. Saying that had some really good deals on the seacow hoppers I've got from ebay. Think we just have to keep our eyes open for good deals Steve.
@@delphjunction1168 Those seacow wagons look superb, Bachmann do so cool liveries on their seacows, unfortunately the best ones are weathered which isn’t my bag, Hornby have another run coming out soon so I might invest in some. Do you like the Bachmann JJA auto ballaster wagons? They are hard to get hold of for a sensible price these days, a set of 4 non generator models which were secondhand went for nearly £300 the other day! I guess if you want them bad enough then you’ll pay the price, Bachmann do a limited run collectors club run of them which are in the latest Network Rail livery, unfortunately they are extremely expensive and they are weathered, apparently once they are sold they won’t be made again because of manufacturing costs, £94 each now compared to the £25 when they first appeared back in 2010/11, I believe they stopped manufacturing them in 2018 or earlier, hopefully another manufacturer will take them on so fellow modellers stop getting fleeced by greedy sellers on DreamBay.
Hi Steve. Hope you're well buddy. I love the seacows. Had one on order with Rails of Sheffield for about a year now. Last time I pre order. With you there Bachmann make some brilliant wagons and as you say they are looking for rich people to buy them. I have had some brilliant bargains on Ebay with the seacows £20 just like new. Got to tighten my belt as far as buying locos go. You can get carried away especially at exhibitions.
Glad to hear the issues are in the past Pete. The 37 is one of my favourite diesels shame that your experience with the one you got is not good. Did you ever get it sorted?

That's one I'll be waiting for. Accurascale do lovely detail but they do have problems. I know their Deltic locos had trouble de railing. Something to do with the coupling. 37 is a great loco with a lot of history.
