When a couple of Tylenol packets had been poisoned by a lone mad person, the company's response was to recall all Tylenol products at high cost to the company. Why? Because their Credo says that their first responsibility is to the patients, families and doctors and nurses who prescribe their products. The second and third responsibilities in the Credo are to the communities they serve and their business partners. The fourth, and last, responsibility is to provide a fair return to their shareholders. Anything nasty about to happen to him and his employers is long overdue and NOT severe enough.

Good luck with that damage has been done to a point that proof to the avg person will be scoffed at
When a couple of Tylenol packets had been poisoned by a lone mad person, the company's response was to recall all Tylenol products at high cost to the company. Why? Because their Credo says that their first responsibility is to the patients, families and doctors and nurses who prescribe their products. The second and third responsibilities in the Credo are to the communities they serve and their business partners. The fourth, and last, responsibility is to provide a fair return to their shareholders. J&J's Credo states that if they fulfil their responsibilities to the first three groups, the fair return to shareholders will naturally follow. This is the model for corporate responsibility. What Facebook is doing is an abomination, the worst of corporate greed which dishonours the virtues of capitalism.
Zuckerberg has the air of a sociopath & a wide streak of “mind blindness.” Same guy that assumed everyone wanted more openness and transparency some time back and removed privacy controls without consulting users. He learned little from the backlash. I have never, ever posted to FB.
As if capitalism is virtuous. It hasn’t been for a long long time now.
When "honorable" capitalism _literally_ requires putting the 'capital' part in *fourth place,* maybe it's not the capitalism part that's honorable?
@@ashkebora7262 I think you have missed my point. Even the Austrian School promotes "enlightened self-interest". My point is, by way of the J&J example, that decency and a free market economy are not mutually exclusive. Leadership is key.
