- First time we are taking the new 2017 / 2018 Seat Leon Cupra 300 to the race track and are really doing some hot laps in this FWD / DSG version. Equipped with the optional performance pack (better brakes) and the stick Michelin Cup tires this car is hell lot of fun on this short and curvy track. Actually it was a lot mot fun the 4WD we drove right after this! Please make sure to check out all our other SEAT Cupra 300 content and have a great weekend! Cheers

You have one great channel Automann, the Cupra 300 is without doubt a very sharp & well rounded hot-hatch for the price. I experienced the Cupra 280/DSG for a weekend a little while back & was impressed by the overall performance it had to offer. Keep up the great content & much love from Lebanon!
I know alot of people are not a fan of the DSG farts that the car makes but I think it does not sound bad at all for the price point this is a great car with good performance good video as always.

I don't believe it will be available in this Cupra 300...more likely for the next generation, buts thats just guessing.

As a former tech the only thing i can think of are how badley
tuned it is... A little bit of crackles and pops on downshifts and
during overrun are ok. Sounds kinda like the olden days
racecars.

Any diference between 2017 SEAT Leon Cupra 300 and 2018 SEAT Leon Cupra 300?
Cupra 300 startet as a MY 2018 more or less, so no differences between the Cupra 300 we tested earlier this year!
Those upshift farts/cracks sound like they could be annoying in everyday driving. I understand this will be in cupra mode with the dsg in sport but What are they like when you give it a boot full with the drive profile in normal and dsg in normal?

I would like to ask you about the cupra 300 gearbox changing gears speed, is it as fast as a audi r8 v10 plus? 😂
+Diogo Fazendeiro about the gear changes...it's really fast the newest version, I don't see a big difference towards the speed of the R8 v10 transmission.

I don't like the way that you turn the wheel (crossing arms in tight turns)
He is doing it right. When driving through a tight turn crossing your arms is way better. He is doing everything right:)

That sound of changing gear... It hurts
Sawanstor It is exhaust sound that sounds like gears,better known as DSG farts..
Such a shame the noise inside is artificial. There is a easy enough way of reducing/turning off the interior sound actuator so you only hear real engine exhaust noise. Any decent mechanic can do it.

Compare pls to S3 ? Performance and drive expierence
S3 is the better allrounder, but this one is the sportier and meaner car. Especially with the Performance Pack its a car that also performs well on a race-track.

That DSG sounds really bad while changing gears...
but it changes faster than you can :-D
Hoss Cartwright Yeah, nothing to say about that, but i've seen it changing on Skoda Superb Sportline 2.0 TSI 280 hp without that annoying sound...
