- After feilding my Novtrisch SSR4 for the first time in this game I can honestly say this is one of the best airsoft guns money can buy on a budget.
I have been using this now over the last 4 months and it has always performed better than I expected. Others who have tried mine are equally blown away. This video will give you a flavour of how well it perform even on just one joule.

Are we not going to talk about how beautiful this airsoft field is?! I’ve always been a bit of a nature guy and moss is my favorite form of vegetation. It seems magnetic and almost magical really, the way it’s creeping up tree’s and on dead tree stumps. Where is this field at exactly?

This field seems amazing compared to what we have in the west coast states, the ambiance from the audio really helps with the immersion . I would love to play somewhere like this. Must have been amazing to experience.

I have used the ssr4 off AKA STATEN only upgrade Stalker nub and other bucking unbelievable performance with only 0.25 bbs
Ya I have since doing the same upgrades cost like 15 euro max and the performance now is even better than this video.

Which scope are you using in this vid? I really like the reticle centre space and thin red cross.
The scope on the gun is the novrtisch LVPO bit the cross hairs ate edited in these are bit the actual scopes cross hairs

Thanks. No the gun doesn't come with a battery or battery changer like most unfortunately.
good game :) and yeah, with tht scope you really can use it as a dmr/semi-sniper, if not for one thing, and you hear it clearly in the video too : tht "twang" coming from the spring after some shots. any tips or ideas on how to get rid of tht? i allrdy put shrinktube on the spring guide, but tht didnt fix it. some guy said "use silicon grease" but...im reluctant to go coating tht entire spring in grease. others say the Nov springs are a bit too short, thts causing ringing and some aftermarket spring would fix it. could i humbly ask for some sage advice from you?
Thick grease does help it won't affect the gun the spring is a quick change one in this so its a simple job. You could try the (can mod) on the spring guide also
@@FOXGREEN thx :) im just not sure just how long it should be for ssr4, it has such a short spring-guide for such a long spring...how many cm/mm do you reckon i should make it? i dont want to ruin the piston or worse :s
@@greenzorse cover the entire spring guide in grease to coat it with about 1to 2 mm of grease along its full lenght.
Which peq box do you use to get the indication of how much bb‘s are left in the magazine ?
It's by xcortech yhe solenc3 is linked to ot and makes teacer bbs and counts them at the same time
I really like novritsch honestly watch there videos kind of gave me the idea of playing airsoft for real but those prices are kind of out of control.
This is a very cheap gun considering. Most his guns are upgraded so if you factor that in they are usualy cheap on average than you buying g a stock gun and parts yourself. I think that is somthing that quite a few fail to consider.
Nice gameplay with stock ssr4. What is the peq box you’re using to count the bb’s left in the mag? Cool feature.
It's made by xcortech but it's quite cheap and the plastics in it are poor quality just FYI 🙂

Is the SSR4 really good then? I’ve seen mixed reviews on it, but on paper it sounds incredible! I really want an M4 platform that’s not going to break the bank and the SSR4 fits that criteria
I have done a review on it also its good gun considering how cheap it is the only thing that could be better is the hop chamber and bucking. So most who buy it make changes to that even I did eventually added a flat nub and amaple leaf bucking cost about 15 euro and its amazing now a brilliant performer.

Ya stock in this video but I have since have added a flat nub and a maple leaf aeg bucking so much better now. The weak point of this gun was the hop up but that's sorted now 🙂

Hey fox green, was wondering what version you went for as in the UK the joule limit is around the 1 mark
Ya I went for the less than 1 joule version and got some fps adjuster rings for it incase I needed to fine tune it up a little. They are very handy

is it nice to use 0.3gr BB's or would u recommend 0.28gr? what would be the diference? awesome vid btw nice to see a good gun is some expert hands :)
Thanks I think out of the box the gun runs best on 0.28 gram bb's personally but this was just my first day out with it. Nopw that I put a new nub and bucking in for 15 euro I recommend 0.3 to 0.32 gramm bb's at 1 joule. Heavier bbs are more accurate and dont slow down as fast so reach a further distance if the hop up on yout gun is good enough basically.

Yes all I did was upgrade the nub and bucking I went with a pantera aeg nub and a maple leaf aeg bucking with those two upgrades, and you will have a brilliant shooting rif.

It's by xcortech so the silencer shoots tracers and links wireless to the people box so it counts the bbs down as they fly through it 🙂

What upgrades did you put with yours or was it just stock
For this game it was stock but since I put in a pantera nub and a maple leafe bucking and now the performance is way way better than this. I can now shoot 0.32 gram nbs easily
How does it compare to you Hk417? at the same power and bb weight
Oh well that thing was a beast the 417 was a €1400 gun that was better but when you compare by how much there isn't as much as you would think in olit funny enough
Hi, what is that black container on top of the rifle? I understand it's a laser replica, but how does it work for you?
So it comes with the teacer unit on the end of the barrel so it can cou t the shots fired make teacer bbs, it can also chrono your gun and give you the guns rate of fire it's by xcortect

There are cheaper guns, but this one seems the cheapest given it has a programmable ECU. This is the metal exterior but polymer performs the same shooting wise.

Tbh they are right it's the first time Nov cheaped out on a bucking. After this game I changed it out to a maple leaf one what he normally puts in his guns basically. I also got a pantera nub which gave the bucking better surface area. Total cost 15 euro now the gun is crazy accurate.
So a minor tweak and then it am totally satisfied so a tiny proce to pay for a very cheap well performing gun. But as you can see totally usable with great results out of the box. I just want to lift heavier bbs so made the upgrade.

Great video, may i suggest not using black tinted glasses when playing in dense forrest, this might help you track your bb's

I am absolutely not a tech guy and I don’t know how to fix this
I have a SSR4 and every time I take it out the motor gets hot, I arum a 11.1 30C in it like the suggestion but it still gets hot

Hey man how hot are we talking here like very very hot? If you're shooting full auto all of the time that makes sense as long as its not crazy hot. Of your shooting semi only then it doesn't really makes sense at all. Maybe try a new battery also

I may have to go to novritsch sight and order one of his batteries to see if that will make a difference, if that still gets hot I may also have to take it to a tech to have it looked at

I can’t believe you are below 1J and you are using 0.3g bbs on a stock rifle! Is the rifle really stock?
Have you tried heavier BBs with this rifle and if so, how they perform?
Thats why I like Nov guns he makes them to handle heavier bbs which makes the performance way better. I have never went heavier than 0.3 with this bit that is plenty for an Aeg at this power anyway.

Today is your gun still stock? Or did you change something, like the bucking for example?
I added a pantera flat nub and a new maple leaf bucking that's it. So now ot would lift any weight I want if needed. It was only 15 euro but made it even more accurate

I keep hearing about how great these are. It would be awesome if we could actually buy an SSR4 here in the US. The Novritsch US website has had no stock on these for months. 👎

@@FOXGREEN yes. The Novritsch US site had stock of the SSR4 in October and has been sold out ever since. Signed up for restock notifications and haven't heard anything since. I guess they only had enough for UA-camrs because I've only seen these on UA-cam and never at our local field.

I wouldn’t buy any of novritsch rifles again. Had the ssg10 and it was terrible. Heard bad things about the ssr4 too, breaking after a couple months, mosfet failure.
Only decent things they produce seem to be their pistols.
I have ran mostly Novritsch riffs for the last 5 years I have pretty much them all. I have very little problems on my stuff bar a few mag issues. The pistol are all great I agree bar the SSP1 I wasn't a fan of that.
I guess some people have a different expirence with them but I like them and always have. The SSR4 is very positive so far. If the mosfet goes its only 19 euro from his ship, so at least it's fixable.
Sniping isn't that straight forward upgrades are required in most snipers I find unless you get something like a Styre scout which is perfect out of the Box imo.
I think people expect to buy a sniper and for it to work amazing and in most cases you may have to do something simple to get it perfect like replace the bucking or add a tdc or fps adjusters to get the power right. Some people just use bb's that are way too light. Once you know that you will get great performance. Like my SSG10 I just added a bucking, two fps adjuster and a tridos tdc not much and it's nuts even at 1 joule.
I've owned almost every Novritsch gun (minus ssr15 and the more expensive sniper rifles) and I have to say I've been very impressed with the performance and durability on almost all of them. The ssr4 is fantastic and I've been running it as my primary since the first month it came out with no issues (not to mention in basically every kind of weather you can think of lol). The only one that I've had many issues with and have been disappointed with is the SSP1.

There are two versions $249 and $320 smae performance, just different externals. The $249 one is budget as far as airsoft goes especially for what you get mosfet wise and everything.
