Firefighters wife here as well. We had a very hard year after one of our men was hit and killed on the highway by a semi during a call…. My children aren’t the same when the pager goes off… especially when we hear of calls on that specific highway. My stomach is always in my throat. Thanks for the encouragement. Fire wives struggle too.

Happy belated Mother's Day Morgan! Sorry you were sick during it. So was my husband and then my daughter and I caught it and we are still trying to get over it right now. By the way strawberry water is amazing!! Thank you so much for that idea. 😀 That's so sweet your daughter likes you to sing to her, so does mine. She always wants me to sing the "pie song" from the movie Waitress. That's the first song I sang immediately after finding out she was on the way. Then I started singing it to her at bedtime when she was 2, she's about to be 7 this week and she still wants me to sing it. 🥰🎵 Your husband's job must be so hard to handle, I would be a wreck too if I saw horrible things. I want to send my thanks to your husband for the hardwork he does. My husband is a helicopter pilot and on his last hitch working he ended up having a medical emergency with one of his passengers. He was in the Gulf of Mexico and had to stay calm and fly the passenger back to land to a hospital. I prayed for that passenger that he would get better and in a few days he was released, absolutely amazing that my prayer was answered for him! My husband is trying to become a flight for life helicopter pilot. Once he reaches a certain amount of hours soon he will finally make that dream a reality. haha this is the longest comment I've ever left for anyone on UA-cam! 😂 By the way I've slowly been decluttering my kids toys, still more to do!
